BrowseControl

What BrowseControl is
BrowseControl is business endpoint software for filtering websites, restricting internet access and blocking applications. Its local endpoint agent enforces rules even when computers are outside the corporate network. Administrators can filter categories, create exact URL allowlists and blocklists, enforce SafeSearch and block downloads by file type. Application controls block executables or permit only approved applications. Restrictions can be scheduled and assigned to departments, Active Directory groups, organizational units or individual computers. Specific TCP and UDP ports can also be blocked. Supported environments include Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server, RDS, Windows-based VDI, Citrix, Azure, AWS and GCP virtual desktops. CurrentWare allows on-premises hosting or a customer-selected cloud platform. SIEM integration can send selected events in CEF or JSON. Security controls include password-protected accounts, optional two-factor authentication, single sign-on, role-based access and admin activity logs. The trial is fully functional for up to 10 computers for 14 days; larger trials may be requested. The listed plan costs $6 a year, billed annually, and there is no free plan.
