Baza Drums

What Baza Drums is

Baza Drums generates editable MIDI drum patterns using AI-assisted algorithms curated by professional producers. Available for macOS and Windows, it creates patterns in styles including House, Breakbeat, and Hybrid. Each generation can produce eight variations, which users can chain and morph. Editing controls include velocity, density, shift, note mapping, swing, and per-instrument mute and lock settings. Patterns can be dragged into a DAW, recorded from the MIDI output, saved as MIDI files, or routed to external drum hardware. Listed compatible DAWs include Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Bitwig, Studio One, Cubase, Reaper, and Pro Tools. Baza Drums outputs MIDI only, so you need a drum sampler or instrument for sound. License holders also receive a free Kit Generator Ableton device, which works only with Ableton Live 12. The Baza Drums plan costs €59, paid once and supports VST3, AU, and legacy VST2 where supported.

Who it suits

Baza Drums suits producers who want editable drum-pattern MIDI for a DAW or external drum hardware. It requires a separate drum sampler or instrument to produce sound.

Limits

There is no free plan. The €59.00 once plan outputs MIDI only, so sound requires a drum sampler or instrument; the free Kit Generator bonus works only with Ableton Live 12.
