What Aprenda Mais is
Aprenda Mais is a Ministry of Education platform offering free, open online courses in multiple fields. Anyone may enroll, whether or not they attend an educational institution, and there is no limit to the number of courses a person can take. Courses are self-paced and self-instructional, arranged in modules with materials and activities that learners can revisit without tutoring or teacher follow-up. Formats are mixed, and course completers can receive certificates. Certificate generation requires completing the course requirements, reaching at least 60% where specified, and waiting through the course’s minimum certificate period. Learners generate certificates themselves, and certificates become unavailable after the course turma ends. The platform describes these offerings as initial or continuing education, not degree or technical, undergraduate, or postgraduate programs. Access is available on the web, Android, and iOS, including a Moodle app with offline access, progress tracking, assignments, quizzes, and forums. The platform identifies MEC as data controller and says it follows privacy-by-design principles under LGPD legal bases.
