The Redmi Monitor G Pro 27 was reported at CNY 1,899 on China’s JD.com on July 21, 2024, down from a stated regular price of CNY 2,999. That is a CNY 1,100 reduction, or about 36.7%. The promotion is historical: no live August 2026 JD.com price for the original model has been verified.
At the time, the 27-inch display combined QHD resolution, 180Hz refresh, a Fast IPS panel and Mini LED backlighting—an unusually dense feature set for its reported Chinese sale price.

GizmoChina reported the promotion on July 21, 2024. The CNY 2,999 figure is the reported regular price, not independently established historical street pricing. The sale price was only CNY 100 below the reported CNY 1,999 launch price. Earlier launch coverage cited a CNY 2,199 pre-order figure, so those launch references should not be treated as interchangeable.

These figures come from contemporary coverage by GizmoChina and Notebookcheck. They are advertised specifications, not a substitute for independent measurements of latency, contrast, HDR tracking, blooming or color accuracy.
Why the combination was attractive
QHD at 180Hz
At 27 inches, 2,560 × 1,440 is visibly sharper than 1080p without demanding as much graphics performance as 4K. A 180Hz ceiling can make camera movement and input feel smoother in competitive games, provided the GPU can sustain high frame rates at QHD.
Mini LED local dimming
The 4,608-bead backlight and 1,152 zones allow much finer brightness control than a conventional edge-lit IPS monitor. That can make HDR highlights brighter and dark scenes more convincing. It does not provide OLED’s per-pixel control: halos, or blooming around bright objects on dark backgrounds, remain possible.

Fast IPS and wide gamut
Fast IPS panels generally offer broad viewing angles and quicker motion behavior than traditional VA designs, although actual transitions depend on the selected overdrive mode. The quoted 1ms figure is specifically GtG with overdrive enabled, not a universal latency result. Gamut coverage of 100% sRGB, 99% DCI-P3 and 97% Adobe RGB describes the colors the panel can cover; it does not by itself prove professional-grade calibration.
Connection and compatibility points
The reported HDMI 2.0 inputs may not be the best route for every 180Hz configuration. Check the monitor’s manual and graphics-card output to confirm which input supports 2,560 × 1,440 at 180Hz. Xiaomi’s later G Pro 27i page recommends the included DisplayPort cable for maximum resolution and refresh output, but that guidance should not automatically be applied to the 2024 Redmi model.
FreeSync can reduce tearing when refresh rate follows a compatible GPU’s frame output, but behavior can vary by GPU, connection and operating system. A computer must also render enough frames to benefit from 180Hz.

The biggest catch: this was a China-market deal
The original report concerned JD.com in China. Notebookcheck noted uncertainty about North American and European availability. For an overseas buyer, the apparent CNY 1,899 price could be changed materially by:

- International shipping, customs, VAT or other import charges.
- China-region warranty service and the cost of returning a large, fragile display.
- Different plug, power-adapter or documentation requirements.
- China-only firmware, menus or support channels.
- Seller-specific return, dead-pixel and damage-in-transit policies.
The promotion also did not establish whether the unit was new inventory, clearance stock or limited-quantity merchandise. Do not treat the historical Chinese price as a current U.S. retail price.
Mini LED expectations and missing evidence
HDR1000-class labeling and a claimed 1,000-nit peak do not guarantee excellent real-world HDR. Performance depends on tone mapping, zone behavior, calibration and content. No independent results for input latency, response-time consistency, contrast, blooming or HDR accuracy were established in the available coverage.

Likewise, the advertised 1ms number changes with refresh rate, transition and overdrive setting. Excessive overdrive can introduce inverse ghosting, so buyers should expect to test modes rather than assume every setting delivers the quoted result.

The similar specifications of the 27i do not prove it is the same monitor as the Redmi-branded 2024 unit. The newer 27Qi should not be used as evidence that the old JD.com promotion remains available.

If you are buying in China
At the reported CNY 1,899 price, the feature density was potentially compelling for a buyer who accepted the seller, warranty and stock risks. Verify the exact model number, seller, included cable, power requirements, return policy and dead-pixel terms before payment.

If you are importing it
Calculate the complete landed cost, including freight, tax and a realistic return. A locally supported Mini LED or OLED monitor can become better value once warranty and damage-in-transit risk are included.
If you are in the United States or Europe
Do not assume the CNY 1,899 promotion is obtainable. Compare the total import cost with locally sold QHD monitors running 165–240Hz, displays with HDMI 2.1 if console 4K matters, and products with domestic warranty service and independent measurements.
What a current listing must prove
- It identifies the exact Redmi Monitor G Pro 27 model, not a 27i, 27Qi, 27U or another regional variant.
- It names the seller and shows current stock and the actual checkout price.
- It states shipping, taxes, plug and power requirements.
- It explains warranty coverage, return shipping and panel-defect policy in your country.
- It confirms the included DisplayPort cable and the input capable of the desired QHD refresh rate.
JD.com remains the retailer associated with the original report, but its homepage at jd.com is not proof of a live listing for this monitor.

The Bottom Line
The Redmi Monitor G Pro 27’s CNY 1,899 JD.com price was a substantial reported cut from CNY 2,999 on July 21, 2024, but it was only CNY 100 below the stated launch price and is not a verified current deal. Its QHD/180Hz Fast IPS and 1,152-zone Mini LED specification remains attractive on paper; international buyers must first confirm model identity, landed cost and warranty support.
