If you can’t log in to Keka, first check that you’re using your employer’s Keka link and the sign-in method your organization allows. Keka documents Microsoft work or school accounts, Google Workspace accounts, Keka Password, and Mobile OTP as possible methods—but your employer may enable only some of them. A personal Google or Microsoft account, an outdated phone number, an incomplete invitation, or disabled employee access can all prevent sign-in even when you believe your credentials are correct.
Work through the checks below in order. If the problem points to your account, invitation, or company sign-in settings, your employer’s Keka administrator or IT team will need to resolve it.
Start with these quick checks
- Open the link your employer provided. Use the Keka portal link in your onboarding email, company portal, or HR instructions. A valid account will not necessarily work at another organization’s portal.
- Choose the method your employer expects. Don’t switch to a password or OTP option simply because it appears familiar; your organization may require Google, Microsoft, or another enabled method.
- Use your work identity. For Google or Microsoft sign-in, select your employer’s Google Workspace or Microsoft work/school account—not a personal Gmail or consumer Microsoft account.
- Check your registered details. Keka needs the email or mobile number associated with your employee account for the relevant sign-in or verification step.
- Retry CAPTCHA or the browser session. Refresh the page, then try another browser or a private window if needed.
- Ask HR or your Keka administrator to check your account. They can confirm that your employee record, invitation, login status, and contact details are correct.
Keka’s login guide describes the available methods and notes that the options depend on the organization’s settings.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsWhat happens when you try to sign in?
The login page does not open
Confirm the organization-specific link with HR, your manager, or internal IT. There is no universal employee portal link that can be assumed to lead to your employer’s account. If the link is correct, try a different browser or private window and check whether coworkers can open it. Don’t enter your work credentials on a page you can’t verify as the portal your employer supplied.

The login option you need is missing
A missing Google, Microsoft, password, or Mobile OTP button may mean you have the wrong organization link—or that your employer has not enabled that method. First verify the portal and ask HR which sign-in method to use. If the link is correct, the Keka administrator can check the organization’s authentication configuration.
For administrators, Keka documents the settings path as Global Settings → Integration and Automation → Authentication. The administrator can review which methods are enabled there. See Keka’s authentication setup instructions.
Google or Microsoft rejects your sign-in
Make sure you select the account issued or managed by your employer. If several accounts are signed in to the browser, choose the work account explicitly; a private window can help prevent the wrong account from being selected automatically. If the work account itself is rejected by Google or Microsoft, contact your company’s IT team. If the identity provider accepts it but Keka does not, ask your Keka administrator to check that your employee record is associated with the correct work email and organization.

- Easy to use - only five steps to get start: Power-on, Register employees' information, Set departments, Set shifts, Set shift rules, then punch in or out. Or you can finish all these steps via download and upload employee form
If your employer normally uses a corporate sign-in button, don’t assume that a Keka password will work as a substitute. Your administrator must confirm which methods your organization allows.
Your Keka password is rejected
- Select Keka Password if that is the method your employer has enabled.
- Enter the work email registered with Keka. Check for a typo or an accidental space at the beginning or end.
- Type the password manually once in case your browser is autofilling an old one or the keyboard layout is different.
- Complete the CAPTCHA and any additional identity-verification step shown.
- If the password still fails, ask the administrator to confirm that your account is set up and to reset the password if needed.
A password change is not a fix for a wrong portal, a disabled account, an incomplete invitation, or a failed company SSO sign-in. Keka’s current login guidance describes the registered work email, password, CAPTCHA, and possible verification code; the exact end-user password-reset control may vary by portal. Keka documents administrator password actions in its employee invitation and account guidance.
You are not receiving an OTP or verification code
First identify which code you are waiting for: Mobile OTP sign-in and a verification code requested after password sign-in are different steps.

Follow the options shown in your own portal. The documented flow is in Keka’s two-factor authentication guide.

CAPTCHA does not load or complete
Refresh the page first; Keka’s troubleshooting guidance also recommends trying another browser. If that doesn’t help, practical browser checks include temporarily disabling extensions that block scripts or embedded content, using a private window, and allowing cookies and JavaScript for the portal and sign-in provider. You can also try another device or, if your company permits it, another network. These are general diagnostics, not a published list of Keka compatibility requirements.
You keep returning to the login screen
A redirect loop can be caused by a stale browser session or an identity-provider mismatch. Sign out of other Google or Microsoft accounts, then retry from a fresh private window. If needed, clear site data for the Keka portal and identity provider, and avoid starting several sign-in attempts in separate tabs. Corporate security software or network policies may also interfere with redirects. If only your company’s SSO route fails, contact internal IT rather than repeatedly changing your Keka password.

You are a new employee and have never been able to sign in
Your employee record or invitation may not be complete. Ask HR or the Keka administrator to confirm:
- That your employee record has been created and login is enabled.
- That the invitation went to the correct work email and that the address is associated with the right organization.
- Whether the invitation needs to be resent or your account needs another setup step.
- That your email address and, if applicable, mobile number are correct.
Keka’s administrator guidance describes inviting an employee during setup with Invite employee to login, inviting later with Invite, and resending an incomplete invitation with Resend Invite. A work email is required to send or resend an invitation. For an employee without a work email, the administrator may generate a password instead. These are administrator actions; ask HR or your Keka administrator to handle them.

Your employee login may be disabled
An employee profile can exist even when login is disabled. Ask the administrator to check whether your employee login is enabled and whether your account is associated with the correct work email and mobile number. Keka lists separate administrator help for identifying and enabling disabled employee logins in its organization and employee support articles.

The mobile app fails but the website works
If web sign-in works, the issue may be limited to the app or its saved session rather than your account. Update the app through your device’s official app store, confirm you are using the right organization and account, and test web access to compare. Reinstalling is a later option: it can remove saved session data but will not fix a disabled account, an incorrect phone number, or a missing invitation.
Several coworkers cannot sign in
If multiple employees have the same problem, compare the portal, login method, and error message before changing individual passwords. Check company IT announcements and ask the administrator to review authentication settings. The problem could involve a shared configuration or identity provider, or a service disruption; one failed login by itself does not prove Keka is down. Keka’s employee platform support section includes service-disruption and maintenance topics, but check with your employer or Keka support for current information.
