Natalia Novak was presented in a 2023 Futurism profile as a glamour influencer who did not exist as a real woman: her images were generated with AI. The person behind the account was identified as Pierre, a software systems engineer in his twenties, who said, “I usually just call myself her manager.” That phrasing captured the project’s central tension: a real operator building an audience around a fictional digital personality.
Who was Natalia Novak?
In its August 16, 2023 profile, Futurism described Natalia Novak as an AI-generated influencer, not a real model whose photographs had simply been enhanced. Her feed presented a glamorous lifestyle—beaches, shopping, social outings and polished fashion imagery—through synthetic images.
That makes the account different from several neighboring formats. A human influencer may use AI editing while remaining the person depicted; a virtual influencer may be a CGI or animated character; a fully synthetic persona can have an AI-generated face and body while a human operator handles the account. Natalia was described as that last kind of project: a generated visual identity maintained by a real person.
Who was behind the account—and why call himself her manager?
Futurism identified the operator only as Pierre, a software systems engineer in his twenties. The profile does not establish his full name, location, employer or verified personal accounts, so those details cannot be responsibly filled in.

Pierre said he called himself Natalia’s “manager” because he was playing a character and did not want the human operator to become the focus. The title borrows the familiar relationship between a celebrity and a representative, but reverses it: Natalia was the invented performer, while her “manager” was also the person creating and operating the persona. The wording preserved distance between creator and character while giving the account a recognizable entertainment-world frame.
How was Natalia made?
The profile says an AI image generator was used to create Natalia’s likeness. It does not identify the model, software stack, prompts, any fine-tuning or reference-image method, or how much editing people did after generation. It also does not establish whether every image came from a single consistent identity model. Claims about a particular tool or production pipeline would go beyond what the reporting supports.
In practical terms, the account involved more than image generation: a person selected and posted images, shaped the persona, wrote or managed presentation, and made choices about disclosure and audience interaction. The interview does not document exactly how those tasks were divided or performed.

Why did the persona look convincing—and still look artificial?
Futurism described images with a deliberately exaggerated glamour aesthetic: an implausibly curvy body, polished hair, revealing outfits and luxury-coded settings. The look was visually distinctive, and photorealism let it sit alongside conventional influencer posts rather than appearing as an obviously animated character.
The images also showed recognizable generative-AI flaws, including distorted hands and repetitive backgrounds. Such artifacts can reveal how an image was made, but they are unreliable disclosure: a viewer may not notice them, and their disappearance would not make a synthetic person real. The same visual style could therefore support fantasy while leaving clues to its construction.
Did followers know Natalia was AI-generated?
The reporting does not support a simple yes or no. Pierre said creators used signals such as “virtual” or “AI” labels, hashtags and visual clues, including imperfect hands. The profile also noted that many commenters did not openly mention the images’ AI nature. Silence in comments cannot show whether a person missed the clues, understood the fiction and played along, regarded the account as entertainment, or simply did not care.

There is no verified figure for what share of Natalia’s audience understood the premise. Pierre’s account of disclosure practices is his description of how creators handled the issue, not evidence that every follower saw or understood an explicit notice. A hint in a hashtag or an image flaw is also not equivalent to a plain statement that no human model exists.

Pierre rejected the idea that AI personas should automatically be treated as schemes to deceive men. As he described it, motivations could include self-expression, roleplay, artistic experimentation and the technical challenge of growing an audience. Futurism reported sparse signs of scamming in the cases it discussed, but that observation does not prove that this account—or the wider category—was always transparent or safe.
The answer depends in part on what an account asks an audience to believe and pay for. A clearly labeled fictional character selling entertainment is different from a persona that implies a real romantic relationship, conceals who is writing private messages, or encourages spending through a false human backstory. The profile raises these distinctions without resolving them for Natalia’s account.

Disclosure and fantasy pull in opposite directions. A subtle “virtual” label may preserve a character’s presentation, but relying on scattered clues leaves the burden on viewers. The interview did not establish a disclosure standard or determine whether notices should appear in a profile, individual posts or paid conversations.

The article discussed subscription-based experiments among creators, including behind-the-scenes access and sexualized content through services such as Patreon and OnlyFans. It also described Pierre as working on a group called Rebel Runway Agency. These details point to possible business directions, not proof that Natalia had a functioning paid account or that the agency became a successful company.

Reach is not the same as income: the article referred to tens of thousands of reactions or fans, but did not provide an independently audited account of followers, paying subscribers or financial results. It therefore cannot demonstrate that the project was commercially successful.

Where identity and roleplay fit
The interview also described virtual personas as a space for roleplay and identity experimentation. Pierre said some people used virtual identities associated with a gender different from their own, and that people sometimes formed relationships through fictional identities. Those observations are possibilities discussed in the interview, not a universal explanation for why creators make AI characters. They do not establish Pierre’s own identity or motives, and AI persona creation should not be conflated with transgender identity.
What Natalia says about virtual influencers—and what it does not
Natalia belonged to an emerging 2023 scene of AI-generated personalities on social platforms. Virtual influencers and digitally created celebrities existed before generative image tools; the more specific change described in the article was that generative systems made photorealistic social imagery easier to produce without the same conventional CGI pipeline. Futurism did not establish Natalia as the first, largest or most successful AI influencer.
The profile is a snapshot, not a current account audit. As of August 18, 2026, the available reporting does not verify whether Natalia, Pierre’s agency project or associated accounts remain active. Nor does it establish a lasting audience, brand partnerships, earnings or a sustainable business model.
