GameLoop is the best first emulator to try for PUBG MOBILE on a Windows PC because it is the emulator officially presented for the game and offers PUBG MOBILE through its own catalog. BlueStacks 5 is a sensible fallback if GameLoop will not install or runs poorly on your system. Neither choice makes a very old or underpowered PC a dependable gaming machine: GameLoop’s current PUBG MOBILE page lists 8 GB RAM and a GTX 1050-class GPU among its minimum requirements.

These are vendor-published requirements and descriptions, not a controlled performance comparison. None proves what frame rate a particular PC will achieve. Download from the official GameLoop site, BlueStacks or MSI, rather than third-party “lite” download pages.
Why GameLoop is the best first try
GameLoop’s PUBG MOBILE page identifies it as the official emulator for the game and provides a direct installation route. That game-specific integration is a stronger reason to start there than unsupported claims that it is always the lightest or fastest emulator. Official positioning does not guarantee better FPS on every CPU and GPU, and no emulator can overcome a serious hardware bottleneck.

Install PUBG MOBILE through GameLoop
- Download the installer from the official PUBG MOBILE page.
- Run the Windows installer, then open GameLoop.
- Search its catalog for PUBG MOBILE, select the game and choose Install.
- Wait for the game files to download, then launch the game.
When to use BlueStacks 5 instead
Try BlueStacks 5 if GameLoop fails to install, has a launch or rendering problem, or behaves worse on your specific computer. BlueStacks documents PUBG MOBILE support and provides adjustable emulator settings, making it a reasonable compatibility fallback. Its lower published basic minimum does not establish that it is lighter or faster than GameLoop in a fair head-to-head test.
BlueStacks lists Windows 7 or higher, a dual-core Intel or AMD processor, at least 4 GB RAM, 5 GB free space, administrator access for installation and current graphics drivers among its requirements. Its PUBG MOBILE guidance suggests allocating 4 CPU cores and 4 GB RAM to the emulator, using High Performance mode and enabling high-frame-rate mode. Those settings are not sensible defaults for every low-end computer: on a host with only 4 GB total RAM, allocating 4 GB to the emulator leaves Windows and background services without practical headroom. The page’s HD graphics and Extreme frame-rate example should not be your starting point on a weak PC.

“Low-end” covers a wide range. A PC may be able to install the emulator but still stutter too much for a firefight. Use these tiers as practical expectations, not guarantees:

For a 4 GB PC, 4 GB is an installation-level minimum in BlueStacks’ published guidance, not a dependable competitive-gaming target. A 2–3 GB system, a very old processor or unsupported graphics hardware is below a level at which smooth PUBG MOBILE play can responsibly be promised.
Settings: aim for stability before visual quality
- Start low. Choose the lowest available resolution you can read comfortably, the lowest graphics preset and a conservative frame-rate target. Disable anti-aliasing and other optional visual enhancements; avoid high-resolution texture packs.
- Keep Windows responsive. Close browsers, extra launchers, recording software, overlays and nonessential background utilities. Do not allocate every CPU core or all system memory to the emulator; leave Windows usable headroom.
- Test before raising settings. Try a training area or a low-pressure match. Watch for regular frame pacing, freezes, delayed input and dropped audio—not just the FPS counter.
- Change one setting at a time. If play is stable, raise the frame-rate target or one graphics option, then test again. If stutter returns, undo the last change. Restart the emulator after major engine or memory-setting changes.
- Reduce other bottlenecks. Keep Windows and graphics drivers current, use an SSD if available, and use wired networking where practical. A stable connection can help online play, but lower ping cannot fix a CPU or GPU rendering bottleneck.
On an 8 GB host, start conservatively rather than immediately copying BlueStacks’ 4 GB allocation recommendation. On a 4 GB host, aggressive allocation can push Windows into paging and make stutter worse. Smooth, repeatable frame delivery and responsive input matter more than a high peak FPS reading.

GameLoop or emulator troubleshooting
GameLoop’s support center lists problems including stuck installation or launch, insufficient disk space or memory, low FPS, unavailable acceleration, graphics-driver versions and DirectX 11. Work through the basics in this order:

- Confirm you have a supported 64-bit Windows installation for the version you are trying to use.
- Restart Windows and make sure you have ample free disk space beyond the nominal listed requirement.
- Install current graphics drivers from the GPU or system-chipset manufacturer.
- Check whether hardware virtualization is enabled if the emulator reports an acceleration problem; use the vendor’s current guidance for your system rather than changing unrelated firmware settings.
- Run the installer with administrator privileges if installation requires it.
- If files appear corrupted, remove the installation and reinstall from the official vendor domain. Back up any settings you need first.
- If GameLoop still fails, test BlueStacks 5 as a fallback. Avoid unofficial modified or “lite” builds.
If FPS is low despite a suitable specification, check for overheating and thermal throttling, insufficient or single-channel RAM, a slow hard drive under paging load, excessive resolution, overlays, recording tools and background apps. An emulator or game update can also change behavior. If the game renders smoothly but online actions lag, investigate the network separately; ping and graphics performance are different problems.

Other emulator options
MSI App Player is a legitimate alternative, but MSI says it was developed through an exclusive partnership with BlueStacks. It offers gaming features such as keyboard and mouse controls and controller support, but that relationship is no evidence that it will run PUBG MOBILE faster than standard BlueStacks on a low-end PC.
LDPlayer, Nox and MEmu are other names readers may encounter. Without current, reproducible PUBG MOBILE compatibility and performance testing on matching hardware, it would be misleading to rank them above GameLoop or claim that one is always the lightest. Emulator behavior can change with game updates, renderers and anti-cheat changes; treat these as unverified alternatives, not guaranteed upgrades.
Account safety, matchmaking and game version
Use official installers and unmodified game files. PUBG MOBILE’s user agreement prohibits unauthorized third-party programs that interfere with online play or game operation. The publisher has also warned that bypassing emulator detection to put emulator users into mobile-player matchmaking is cheating and may bring severe account penalties. Do not use emulator-detection bypasses, cracked clients, modified APKs, scripts, macros or unofficial FPS unlockers. This is not a claim that every third-party emulator is banned; it is a reason not to promise that every emulator is risk-free. Some competitions set stricter rules and may prohibit emulator use, so check the rules for the specific event.

Make sure you mean PUBG MOBILE
PUBG MOBILE is the mobile game being run in an Android emulator. PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is a separate native PC game with different system requirements, controls and matchmaking. If you want the PC edition, an emulator is not the route to it.
