Vivo announced the Y300 Pro+ in mainland China on March 31, 2025. Its defining feature is a typical 7,300mAh battery, backed by 90W wired charging and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. China launch prices started at CNY 1,799, while official sales began on April 3, 2025.
This is a China-market launch, not a confirmed global or U.S. release. Vivo’s Chinese specification page currently lists the Y300 Pro+ as out of stock, and no official U.S. price or carrier-compatibility information is established by the available sources.

A 7,300mAh battery in a relatively slim phone
The Y300 Pro+ uses a single-cell battery rated at 7,300mAh typical capacity and 7,170mAh rated capacity, both measured at 3.83V. Vivo lists typical energy of 27.96Wh and rated energy of 27.47Wh.

Vivo describes the battery as a thin “Blue Ocean” battery using third-generation silicon-anode technology, with an advertised energy density of 838Wh/L. The phone also supports 90W wired charging, OTG reverse charging, PPS and UFCS charging protocols.
The large capacity should give the phone more endurance than many conventional mid-range devices, particularly for users who spend long periods away from a charger. It does not guarantee a specific number of days: brightness, refresh rate, cellular signal, gaming, camera use, temperature and software settings all affect battery life.
Vivo’s standby, video, gaming and navigation figures are manufacturer laboratory results, not independent battery tests. Vivo also promotes a claim that the battery can retain at least 80% health after 1,300 full cycles under its stated testing conditions; that should be treated as a company test claim rather than a guarantee for every user.

Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 performance
The Y300 Pro+ is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, which Vivo describes in Chinese as the third-generation Snapdragon 7s platform. It is built on a 4nm process and uses an eight-core CPU configuration listed as one core at 2.5GHz, three cores at 2.4GHz and four cores at 1.8GHz. Graphics are handled by the Adreno 810 GPU.
Vivo claims a 20% CPU improvement, 40% GPU improvement, 30% AI improvement and 12% lower overall power consumption compared with its stated comparison platform. The company also advertises support for up to 120-frame-per-second gaming in a supported title and quotes an AnTuTu score above 820,000.
Those figures are Vivo’s claims. Benchmark results vary with software version, temperature, benchmark version, performance mode and memory configuration. The practical positioning is efficient mid-range performance paired with an unusually large battery—not flagship-level gaming performance. Buyers seeking the highest sustained frame rates should look at more powerful platforms.
6.77-inch AMOLED display with a high peak-brightness claim
The phone has a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with a 2392 × 1080 resolution, a 19.9:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate that switches between 60Hz and 120Hz. Vivo lists an 8,000,000:1 contrast ratio, approximately 1.07 billion colors, HDR support, DCI-P3 wide color gamut and 3,840Hz PWM dimming.
Vivo advertises 5,000 nits of local peak brightness, 1,300 nits of global excitation brightness and 800 nits of manual brightness. The 5,000-nit number applies to a localized peak area, not the entire screen during ordinary use. It should not be read as a sustained full-screen outdoor-brightness result. The available official material does not establish independent outdoor-readability testing.

SGS low-blue-light certification and eye-care testing are also listed. As with any display certification or brightness specification, actual comfort and visibility depend on viewing conditions and settings.
Camera hardware: stabilized main camera, limited versatility
At the rear, the Y300 Pro+ has a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera. Vivo identifies the main sensor as Sony’s LYT-600 and lists an f/1.79 aperture, autofocus and optical image stabilization for still photography. Video uses OIS plus electronic image stabilization, and the specification sheet lists 4K and 1080p recording options.
The front camera is 32MP with an f/2.0 aperture. Vivo’s launch material mentions “2× optical-level zoom,” but the phone does not have a dedicated telephoto lens in the listed hardware. That description should not be confused with true optical zoom from a separate telephoto camera. The specification sheet lists up to 10× digital zoom.

The 2MP depth sensor is an auxiliary portrait camera, so buyers should not expect the framing flexibility of a multi-camera system with ultrawide and telephoto lenses. Image quality, night photography, stabilization and portrait-edge accuracy require independent testing and cannot be established from the official specifications alone.
Design, dimensions and durability
The Y300 Pro+ measures 163.40 × 76.40mm and weighs approximately 199g. The silver and pink versions are 7.89mm thick, while the black version measures 7.93mm. Available colors are Starry Silver, Pink and Black.
Vivo describes a double-sided equal-depth curved design, with a curved screen, rear panel and middle frame. Its “Diamond Rock” structural design includes reinforced glass and company claims involving scratch resistance, drop resistance, wet- and oily-hand touch response and military-standard environmental testing.
Vivo’s launch material also states that the phone supports 12 hours of rain exposure and has IP6X dust resistance. IP6X is a dust-protection rating, not an immersion-water rating. These claims do not make the phone equivalent to an IP67- or IP68-rated device. Marketing statements such as improved strength or steel-wool testing are laboratory claims, not guarantees against real-world damage. A case and screen protector remain sensible.

RAM is LPDDR4X dual-channel and storage uses UFS 2.2. Vivo advertises memory fusion of up to 12GB and says the phone can keep as many as 37 apps in the background. Those are software-dependent claims and do not equal the same amount of physical RAM.
The 8GB/128GB model is the cheapest entry point, but the 8GB/256GB version is a safer choice for people who record video, download large games or plan to keep the phone for several years. Vivo’s official specification page does not list a microSD card slot, so buyers should not assume expandable storage.
The phone runs OriginOS 5. Because this is a China-market model, app availability, language support, payment functions, Google services, update behavior and warranty coverage may differ from those of global Vivo phones.
Connectivity and regional limitations
The Y300 Pro+ supports dual nano-SIM cards, 5G SA, NFC and an infrared remote-control function. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi bands at 2.4GHz, 5.1GHz and 5.8GHz, along with Bluetooth 5.2.
Its USB-C port is limited to USB 2.0, so users transferring large video files should not expect flagship-class wired transfer speeds. Wired headphones require USB-C because no 3.5mm headphone jack is listed.
Vivo lists GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS positioning support. The Chinese band list includes bands such as n1, n3, n5, n8, n28A, n38, n40, n41, n48, n77 and n78, among others. These bands do not guarantee compatibility with U.S. carriers.
Anyone considering an import should verify VoLTE, 5G band support, carrier certification, eSIM availability, Google Play access, language options, bootloader policy, warranty terms and the seller’s return policy. The available sources do not establish official U.S. certification or U.S. carrier support.

Vivo announced a China national-subsidy benefit of up to CNY 375 at launch, along with launch bundles, trade-in offers and installment plans. Those were time-limited China-specific promotions and should not be treated as current offers.
Vivo’s official Chinese product page currently marks the model as out of stock. There is no confirmed U.S. launch, U.S. MSRP or general global availability in the cited official sources. The Chinese launch price also excludes shipping, taxes, importer markup, warranty risk and possible replacement costs.
Who should consider the Vivo Y300 Pro+?
The Y300 Pro+ makes the most sense for China-market buyers who prioritize battery capacity, fast wired charging, a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, a stabilized primary camera and generous storage. Its relatively slim 7.89mm-to-7.93mm body is notable given the battery size, although the phone remains wide and weighs about 199g.
It is a weaker fit for U.S. buyers who need guaranteed network compatibility, official local warranty service or a globally familiar software experience. It is also not the obvious choice for serious mobile gamers, photography buyers who need an ultrawide or telephoto camera, users who require fast USB file transfers or anyone expecting IP68-level water protection.
For international buyers, importing is the central trade-off. The hardware may be attractive, but the total cost and ownership experience depend on the seller, regional network support, software configuration, accessories and after-sales service—not just the converted yuan price.
Verdict
The Vivo Y300 Pro+ is a battery-first mid-range phone whose standout specification is its 7,300mAh typical battery, complemented by 90W charging and a bright 120Hz AMOLED display. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 should provide capable everyday performance, while the OIS-equipped 50MP main camera gives the rear camera system a credible headline feature.
Its compromises are equally clear: China-only availability in the cited launch information, uncertain suitability for international carriers, OriginOS-specific software considerations, a basic 2MP secondary camera, USB 2.0 and no confirmed immersion-water protection. It is an interesting China-market endurance phone, but overseas buyers should verify compatibility and support before treating it as a practical import.
