Is the Amazon price a real deal?
The captured results show prices and, for one Windows configuration, a crossed-out reference price. That alone does not prove a current discount or the laptop’s lowest-ever price. Marketplace listings can change, disappear or remain indexed after stock runs out. Treat R$4,049, R$4,599 and R$5,759 as price signals to compare—not guaranteed current offers.

On the exact product page, check whether the displayed price is for the configuration you want and whether it depends on a coupon, Pix payment or installment plan. Confirm the product is new rather than renewed or used, that it is in stock, and who sells and fulfills it. Add shipping to your delivery address and review the return terms and warranty provider. A deal is only attractive if the final delivered price and post-sale coverage work for you.
16GB or 32GB: which should you buy?
For ordinary productivity, 16GB is the value choice. It is generally sufficient for web browsing, documents, spreadsheets, video calls, schoolwork, streaming and routine multitasking. The observed Linux listings put the 32GB version R$550 above the 16GB version, with the same listed Ryzen 7 5825U and 512GB SSD. If those prices are still available and the specifications match, that is a relatively modest premium for buyers who will use the extra memory.
Choose 32GB if you regularly keep many applications and browser tabs open, work with large spreadsheets, use virtual machines or local development environments, or edit photos and video. More RAM can also provide headroom for longer ownership, but it does not turn this laptop into a workstation or gaming machine.

At least one FE16 specification describes two DDR4-3200 memory slots and support up to 64GB (2×32GB). That does not establish the module arrangement in every Amazon SKU. A 16GB laptop might have one 16GB module or two 8GB modules; check the exact model code and service documentation before planning an upgrade. If the listing has one module and an accessible free slot, adding a matched module may be a cost-effective route. If it has two 8GB modules, reaching 32GB could require replacing them. Memory access may also affect integrated graphics performance, so dual-channel arrangements can matter. The documented two-slot/64GB capacity should be treated as specific to the model covered by that specification, not a guarantee for every FE16.

Linux or Windows 11?
The Linux FE16 listings cost less in the captured results, but they are not equivalent to the Windows model in software setup. Linux suits buyers who already use it, are comfortable maintaining an operating system, or do not rely on Windows-only applications. It can be a good fit for programming, education, browsing and general office tasks, provided the included distribution meets your needs.

Windows 11 Home is the simpler choice if you need Windows desktop software, want familiar plug-and-play setup, or are buying for someone who does not want to install an operating system. Compare the price difference with the cost and effort of obtaining a legitimate Windows license, installing it, checking driver support and configuring firmware settings such as Secure Boot. A Linux preinstall does not include a Windows entitlement, and Windows activation is not guaranteed merely because the hardware can run it.

FE16 listings include the Ryzen 5 5625U and Ryzen 7 5700U or 5825U. The Ryzen 7 models generally offer more CPU cores and threads than the Ryzen 5 5625U, which can help with parallel workloads. The Ryzen 7 5825U is an older Zen 3 mobile processor, but remains suitable for everyday productivity and lighter content work. Compare the exact chip and the full configuration rather than assuming every Ryzen 7 is automatically the better purchase. Cooling, power limits and memory configuration also shape real-world performance, and a newer competing laptop can outperform an older model despite a lower-tier name.
What the FE16 is—and is not—suited for
The FE16’s 16-inch, 1920×1200 IPS display has a 16:10 aspect ratio, providing more vertical workspace than a typical 16:9 screen. Product listings also describe anti-reflective treatment. That is useful for documents and spreadsheets, but the available specifications do not establish measured brightness, color coverage or accuracy; do not choose it for color-critical work without independent display testing.

With a Ryzen processor and integrated Radeon graphics, this is a general-purpose laptop for office work, school, browsing, streaming, programming, video calls and light editing. Casual or older games may be possible with modest settings, but integrated graphics are not a substitute for a discrete gaming GPU. It is a poor fit for modern AAA gaming at high settings, serious 3D rendering or GPU-heavy local AI workloads.
A specification for one listed configuration gives approximate dimensions of 35.9 × 25.5 × 1.98 cm, weight around 1.85kg, a 55Wh battery, HDMI, USB ports, USB-C, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, an SD-card reader and a 720p webcam. These details may vary by model code and region. The same document claims up to 10 hours of battery life; that is a stated maximum, not an independently measured runtime. Do not confuse FE16 with F16 or FS16
Amazon Brazil search results surfaced the AMD-based FE16. VAIO’s newer F16 line is a separate product family with newer Intel Core U-series options, Windows configurations, up to 32GB RAM and optional higher-resolution displays in the official store. The FS16 is another separate model: VAIO USA’s page lists an Intel Core i5-1235U, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD and a 16-inch 1920×1200 display. The captured page showed $799.99 and sold-out status, so it is a model comparison—not proof of current stock or price. Before you place the order
- Confirm the listing says FE16 (sometimes FE 16) and check the model code, which may begin VJFE69F11X.
- Match the processor exactly: Ryzen 5 5625U, Ryzen 7 5700U or Ryzen 7 5825U.
- Verify RAM and SSD capacity on the selected configuration, not just in the title or product image.
- Confirm whether the operating system is Linux or Windows 11 Home, and account for any software or license costs.
- Check current stock, seller identity, fulfillment, shipping to your location and the final checkout price.
- Read the return policy and establish who provides warranty service.
- If buying 16GB with an upgrade in mind, verify module layout, free slots, supported memory and whether opening the machine affects coverage.
