The main card followed at about 3:00 a.m. GMT, with Islam Makhachev vs Renato Moicano expected around 5:00 a.m. The headline-fight time was only an estimate: earlier bouts determined when the walkouts happened. UFC 311 has already taken place.

TNT Sports listed UK preliminary-card coverage from 1:00 a.m. The UFC’s event listing gave the main-card time as 10:00 p.m. ET on January 18; that converts to 3:00 a.m. GMT on January 19. TNT Sports’ UK viewing details and the UFC event listing provide those schedule references.

When was the Makhachev vs Moicano fight?
The main event was expected to reach the walkouts at roughly 5:00 a.m. UK time, around two hours after the main card began. That was not a guaranteed start time. UFC cards run bout by bout: a quick knockout or submission can bring the headline fight forward, while long contests, decisions and broadcast segments can push it later.

Where could UK viewers watch UFC 311?
TNT Sports listed the event on TNT Sports 1 via discovery+, and also listed UFC Fight Pass as an option. TNT Sports access depended on the viewer’s subscription or package; the broadcaster was also available through providers including BT, EE, Sky and Virgin Media, subject to their terms. Why was Renato Moicano fighting Islam Makhachev?
UFC 311 was initially promoted as Islam Makhachev vs Arman Tsarukyan 2. Tsarukyan withdrew shortly before the event, and Renato Moicano replaced him; Moicano had originally been scheduled to face Beneil Dariush. As a result, some older schedules and search results still show Tsarukyan as Makhachev’s opponent. The UFC announced the change in its replacement notice.
The co-main event
The co-main event was Merab Dvalishvili vs Umar Nurmagomedov for the UFC bantamweight title. Its place immediately before the headline bout is another reason not to treat the Makhachev–Moicano walkout as a fixed appointment: the length of that fight affected the schedule for the main event.
