TS10 is not one standardized Android car stereo. It is a platform or product-family name used for head units from different manufacturers, sellers, vehicle applications, and hardware revisions. Before changing factory settings or installing firmware, identify your exact unit’s model, CPU, Android version, MCU, screen, wiring harness, and CAN-bus decoder.
This manual covers the common TS10 menus and features while clearly marking settings that vary by version.
1. Identify your exact TS10 unit
The label “TS10” alone is not enough to select a firmware file or wiring diagram. TS10-family units have been sold with different Android versions, processors, RAM and storage configurations, displays, camera inputs, radio tuners, and vehicle-integration hardware. Older listings include UIS7862 and Android 10; newer TS10/TS10S listings include Android 12 or 13 variants and other board mappings. Open Settings → About, Settings → System information, or the similarly named menu and record:

- Model name and internal model number
- Android version
- CPU or platform identifier
- MCU version
- Build number and firmware version
- Screen resolution
- RAM and internal storage
- Seller or manufacturer
- Vehicle make, model, year, and trim
- Rear-camera format and CAN-bus decoder brand, if shown
Photograph the About screen, product label, connectors, and wiring harness. Keep those records before resetting or updating the unit.
2. Find the right manual
- Check the printed manual supplied with the head unit.
- Open the original seller or order page and search using the exact vehicle and model.
- Check the label, packaging, invoice, and seller-support page.
- Match the manual’s Android version, CPU, screenshots, screen layout, and connectors to your unit.
- Contact the seller if the menus or hardware do not match.
A general TS10 manual PDF is useful as a reference. Reproductions are also available at Manuals Plus and this related manual copy. The original manufacturer or seller PDF takes precedence where the wording differs.
3. Safe installation and first boot
Before powering on
- Confirm the fascia, harness, connectors, and unit are intended for the exact vehicle and trim.
- Check for bent pins, loose terminals, and damaged cables.
- Connect the GPS antenna, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth antenna, microphone, USB leads, and camera cables as applicable.
- Follow the vehicle’s service precautions and disconnect the battery before changing wiring.
- Do not guess at constant-power, ACC, ground, speaker, CAN-bus, amplifier, or camera connections.
Some vehicle-specific documentation recommends professional installation because extra adapters and cables may be required. A wiring mistake can damage the head unit, vehicle electronics, speakers, or battery system.

- Select the language.
- Set the date, time, and time zone.
- Connect to Wi-Fi or configure a supported SIM/4G connection.
- Check touchscreen response across the display.
- Test speakers at low volume.
- Scan for FM/AM stations.
- Pair a phone and test a call.
- Test GPS reception outdoors.
- Test the rear camera while stationary.
- Test steering-wheel buttons.
- Confirm illumination, reverse trigger, door information, parking sensors, and other retained factory features.
Exact labels vary with the launcher, Android version, and vehicle CAN-bus profile.
4. Home screen and quick controls
Common TS10 launchers provide several desktop pages with status information, Back, Home, and recent-app controls, multimedia widgets, navigation shortcuts, and application icons. Long-pressing an empty area or shortcut may open customization or application-binding options.
Swipe down from the top to open the pull-down menu. Depending on the firmware, it may include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, location, equalizer, screen saver, Settings, floating icon, application menu, memory cleanup, screenshot, restart, brightness, and volume controls. These labels are documented in the generic TS10 manual, but they are not guaranteed on every unit.

5. Install and select navigation software
Google Play method
- Connect the unit to Wi-Fi or mobile data.
- Open Google Play Store and install a navigation app from its reputable publisher.
- Open Car Settings → Navigation → Navigation software selection.
- Select the installed app and press Return to save.
USB or SD-card APK method
- Download the APK only from a trustworthy publisher.
- Copy it to a USB drive or SD card.
- Connect the storage device.
- Open APK Installer or File Manager.
- Select and install the APK.
- Bind it through Car Settings → Navigation → Navigation software selection.
Some firmware includes Car Settings → General → Memory start Navigation, which can launch navigation after startup. The option may not exist on your version. Avoid random APKs and unnecessary unknown-source permissions because they can expose the unit and connected accounts to malware.
6. Bluetooth pairing, calls, and contacts
- Open Bluetooth on the TS10 and make it discoverable if necessary.
- Open Bluetooth settings on the phone.
- Select the head unit.
- Confirm the pairing code on both devices.
- Allow contacts and call-history access if wanted.
- Test an outgoing call, incoming call, and media playback separately.
If pairing fails, delete the connection on both devices, restart both, disable Bluetooth on other nearby phones, and pair again. Revoke and re-grant contact permissions if synchronization fails. Test a second phone before considering a factory reset.
7. CarPlay and Android Auto
Many TS10 listings advertise CarPlay or Android Auto, but support may be wired, wireless, built into the firmware, or provided through an application such as T-Link, CarLink, or another vendor-specific tool. Activation may also be required. One reproduced manual describes T-Link discovery over Bluetooth with Wi-Fi used for the active wireless connection; that does not establish wireless support for every TS10.
Connection checklist
- Confirm that the phone supports the required platform.
- Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for wireless operation.
- Use the designated USB port and a sound data cable for wired operation.
- Remove old phone pairings from both devices.
- Restart the phone and head unit.
- Open the installed connection app manually.
- Check whether activation is required.
- Test another cable and phone.
Installing an Android navigation app directly on the head unit is different from Android Auto: with Android Auto, the phone supplies the supported app environment and projects it to the display.
8. Music, video, and radio
TS10 software commonly plays media from USB storage, SD cards, internal storage, playlists, favorites, loop mode, and random mode. A general manual lists MP4, AVI, DIVX, FLV, MOV, MKV, and 3GP video files, but actual codec, resolution, frame-rate, and audio-track support depends on the hardware and firmware.

Radio
Use the radio app to select AM/FM, scan stations, tune manually, and save presets such as P1–P6. Stereo/mono, RDS, and radio-region options depend on the tuner and region.
Poor reception commonly results from an incorrect antenna adapter, missing antenna-amplifier power, a loose connection, a vehicle-specific dual-antenna arrangement, an incorrect radio region, or a faulty tuner. Some Volkswagen installations, for example, require attention to dual-antenna and amplifier arrangements; this is a vehicle-specific example, not a universal TS10 requirement. 9. Equalizer and audio configuration
Depending on the firmware, the equalizer may include presets, custom bands, surround modes, bass boost, balance, fader, zones, and bass-filter controls. One manual lists bass boost from 0–12 and bass filtering from 0–250 Hz, but those ranges are firmware-dependent.
For low or distorted sound, use this order:
- Check volume and mute.
- Center balance and fader.
- Disable extreme EQ and bass boost.
- Check whether an external amplifier is enabled.
- Confirm AMP-CONT wiring.
- Check speaker polarity and impedance.
- Verify CAN-bus audio configuration.
- Inspect RCA cables when using an external amplifier.
- Do not change factory amplifier settings without recording the originals.
10. Rear camera and reversing settings
Camera menus may include camera type, mirroring, parking radar, trajectory lines, and reversing behavior. Some TS10 firmware offers the following input choices:

| TVI | 720p at 25/30 fps or 1080p at 25/30 fps |
Select only the format supported by the actual camera and input. A mismatch can cause a black, rolling, flickering, or distorted image. A unit that lists AHD support does not necessarily support every AHD resolution or frame rate.
Camera diagnosis
- Confirm the reverse-trigger wire receives the correct signal.
- Check camera power and ground.
- Reseat the RCA or video connector.
- Match CVBS, AHD, or TVI mode.
- Match PAL or NTSC.
- Match 720p/1080p and frame rate when selectable.
- Disable mirroring temporarily for diagnosis.
- Test with the original or a known-compatible camera.
Test the camera only while stationary and in a safe location.

11. Steering-wheel controls and CAN-bus
Some vehicles expose button signals for manual learning; others require the correct CAN-bus decoder and vehicle profile. For manual learning, open the steering-wheel learning app, tap Start, choose an on-screen function, press the corresponding physical button, repeat, and save.
If controls do not work, verify the CAN-bus decoder connection and vehicle profile, reboot after changing the profile, and determine whether the vehicle uses resistive controls or CAN-bus controls. Do not relearn buttons until the underlying signal source is working.
12. Themes, boot animation, and shortcuts
Optional customization may include themes, custom application shortcuts, USB or QR-code theme import, boot-animation import, and startup-logo settings. Some variants require an activation code, factory password, or vendor-specific file format. TS10S documentation maps different internal models and warns that specifications can vary by batch or customization, so do not import files simply because they are labeled TS10.
13. Factory settings and firmware updates
Factory menus can change CAN-bus vehicle profiles, radio region, camera format, amplifier behavior, screen parameters, touch calibration, boot logos, sleep behavior, and other integration settings. Some documentation or user reports mention a password such as 123456, but it is not universal and should not be treated as a default for every unit.
Before changing factory settings:
- Photograph every original value.
- Change one setting at a time.
- Write down what changed and when.
- Do not alter MCU settings unless the seller specifically directs you.
- Do not flash firmware based only on the TS10 name or a newer Android number.
- Obtain the exact package for the board, MCU, display, CAN-bus configuration, and seller variant.
Some newer documentation mentions USB or OTA updates, but update availability and procedure vary. A mismatched image can leave the unit with a blank display, wrong touch behavior, failed vehicle integration, or a boot loop. Ask the seller for the exact recovery procedure before updating.

No power
Check the vehicle fuse, inline fuse, constant and switched power, ground, harness seating, CAN-bus connection, battery voltage, and ignition signal. Stop repeatedly cycling power if the wiring is uncertain.

Boots but screen is blank
Possible causes include a loose display cable, incorrect screen firmware or resolution, failed backlight, brightness/sleep settings, or an incompatible firmware package. Do not flash another file merely because it says TS10.
Touchscreen is inaccurate
Reboot, remove film or obstructions, run calibration if available, check physical damage, and confirm that the firmware matches the display panel.
GPS does not find satellites
Confirm the GPS antenna is connected, place it with a clear view of the sky, check that location is enabled, and test outdoors. A loose or incorrectly placed antenna can mimic a software failure.

CarPlay or Android Auto disconnects
Re-pair the phone, reset the connection app, check Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, test another cable or phone, and confirm activation requirements. Avoid unrelated factory-setting changes.
Battery drains overnight
Possible causes include incorrect ACC wiring, standby/sleep configuration, powered accessories, 4G or Wi-Fi behavior, and CAN-bus integration faults. Some variants offer timed sleep settings while others do not. Have an installer measure standby current rather than guessing.
Factory reset caused new problems
A reset can erase paired phones, radio presets, navigation preferences, launcher customization, CAN-bus configuration, camera settings, and vendor activation. Record settings and obtain the seller’s recovery procedure before resetting.
15. When to contact the seller or an installer
Contact the seller or a qualified car-audio installer when the vehicle has a factory amplifier, factory camera, parking sensors, complex CAN-bus functions, dual antennas, a 360-degree camera system, or symptoms that began after wiring or firmware changes.

The decisive facts are exact hardware identity, vehicle integration, MCU and firmware support, return policy, and the seller’s ability to provide matching documentation—not simply the advertised Android version, RAM, or TS10 label.
