There is no official, audited ranking of MrBeast’s most expensive YouTube videos. Based on available reporting, I Survived 50 Hours in Antarctica is the likely leader, with estimates above $5 million. But the best-documented benchmark remains $456,000 Squid Game In Real Life!, which MrBeast said cost roughly $3.5 million, or about $4 million when rounded.
The ranking below separates disclosed production costs, reported estimates, prize money and speculation. It excludes Beast Games, the much larger Prime Video series, from the YouTube list.
How the ranking works
“Most expensive” means the estimated all-in cost of making and delivering a YouTube production, not simply the cash amount in its title. Where the evidence permits, that includes sets, crew, travel, accommodation, equipment, safety, logistics, post-production and prizes or giveaways.
Sponsorships are treated as part of the production’s cost even when they were not paid personally by MrBeast. That distinction matters: the cost of making a video is not necessarily the same as the amount MrBeast himself spent.

Secondary coverage has described I Survived 50 Hours in Antarctica as MrBeast’s most expensive YouTube video, placing its cost above $5 million. If that estimate is accurate, it would put the video ahead of the better-documented Squid Game production.

Remote travel, specialist crews, safety systems, equipment, accommodation, transport, insurance and difficult logistics can all add substantially to a production budget.
However, the figure has not been supported by a publicly available itemized budget or a reliable direct disclosure from MrBeast. The defensible wording is therefore “reported to have cost more than $5 million,” not “confirmed to have cost exactly $5 million.” The World Beast reports the estimate, but it should be treated as secondary reporting.
2. 100 Boys Vs 100 Girls

Confidence: Low
Visible prize: Reported prize potential should not be confused with production cost
100 Boys Vs 100 Girls is a plausible top-tier contender because it combines a very large cast, multiple competition areas, extensive staffing, substantial logistics and a potentially large prize structure.
That does not establish a final budget. A WIRED interview transcript refers to a competition involving 100 of the strongest people and 100 of the smartest people, with a prize that could reach $5 million or $10 million. It is best treated as a possible high-budget production rather than a precisely ranked entry.
3. $456,000 Squid Game In Real Life!
Reported all-in cost: approximately $3.5 million, often rounded to $4 million
Visible prize: $456,000
Confidence: High
This is the strongest publicly documented major MrBeast YouTube budget. MrBeast said the project cost roughly $2 million for sets and production plus about $1.5 million in contestant prizes, for a total near $3.5 million. Other coverage commonly rounds that to approximately $4 million.
The title’s $456,000 refers only to the advertised prize. It is not the production’s total cost. The difference is important: ranking videos by the cash amount in their titles would significantly understate the scale of this project.
The production was also partially funded through a partnership with Supercell to promote Brawl Stars. That makes “how much the video cost” a more accurate description than “how much MrBeast personally paid.” TechCrunch reported the cost breakdown. 4. 50 YouTubers Fight for $1,000,000
Known minimum component: $1 million in prize money
Total production cost: Not publicly disclosed
Confidence: Medium for the prize; low for the total
The video’s $1 million prize makes it one of MrBeast’s largest publicly visible payouts, but the prize is only one part of the budget. The full production could also include venue and set construction, travel, accommodation, contestant expenses, crew, equipment, insurance, safety operations, editing and promotion.

Other possible multimillion-dollar contenders
MrBeast has produced many large-format videos involving custom homes, islands, endurance challenges, international locations and hundreds of participants. Some may have cost several million dollars, but their budgets are not publicly documented well enough for a reliable ranking.
One frequently repeated claim places $1 vs $100,000,000 House at roughly $4 million to $8 million. The available source is not authoritative enough to present that range as established fact, so it belongs in the category of unverified estimates rather than the main ranking. Reusable sets, shared shoots and companion uploads create additional uncertainty. A single production package may generate multiple videos, making it difficult to assign every expense to one upload.
Why later videos may outrank Squid Game
In a 2026 WIRED interview, MrBeast identified the Squid Game production as costing about $4 million while indicating that several later videos had exceeded that level. This is why Squid Game should be treated as the best-documented benchmark, not automatically as the current record holder.

The statement supports the conclusion that the channel’s production scale grew beyond its 2021 level. It does not provide an itemized ranking or establish the exact cost of every later upload. WIRED’s interview is the primary reference.
Why Beast Games is not in the YouTube ranking
Beast Games is an Amazon Prime Video television series, not a standalone YouTube video. Its reported budget exceeded $100 million, and MrBeast has said he personally lost tens of millions on the project. Industry reporting has also discussed a major purpose-built city set.

What “most expensive” can mean
Different definitions can produce different winners:
- Total production cost: the broadest and most useful measure for this ranking.
- Prize pool: the money awarded to contestants, which may be sponsor-funded.
- Giveaway value: the retail value of cars, houses, islands or products, which may differ from the creator’s acquisition cost.
- Personal spending: money paid directly by MrBeast, excluding sponsor or platform funding.
- Production complexity: a qualitative measure used when no credible budget exists.
These measures should not be mixed. A $1 million prize does not prove a $1 million production budget, and a sponsored event can have a multimillion-dollar production cost without MrBeast personally funding the entire amount.
Final ranking verdict
Based on current public reporting, I Survived 50 Hours in Antarctica is the likely most expensive MrBeast YouTube video, with an estimated cost above $5 million. That claim remains provisional because the exact figure is not publicly verified.
