The $134 Galaxy Watch Ultra price was real only as a conditional Cyber Monday 2024 offer. The reported $134.29 price required a qualifying trade-in; the same deal was listed at $434.29 without one. It should not be treated as the watch’s ordinary purchase price, and it is not currently verified as a standalone price on Samsung’s U.S. store.
Samsung’s current U.S. listing for the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025), 47mm LTE, shows a $649.99 price before trade-in. Samsung’s promotions may reduce that total, but the exact credit depends on the device you submit and the terms attached to the offer.
What the $134 price actually meant
The Cyber Monday deal reported by Android Central showed these figures for the 47mm Galaxy Watch Ultra:

That makes the trade-in price approximately 79% below $649.99, but the apparent discount includes the value of the device you surrender. In practical terms, you are not buying a new Ultra for $134 with no strings attached; you are paying $134.29 after Samsung or the retailer assigns credit for an eligible old device.

Is the deal still live?
The available evidence identifies the $134.29 figure as a historical Cyber Monday 2024 promotion. It was date-bound and may also have depended on inventory, a particular model or color, and a specific trade-in offer. A page or headline that still says “now $134” needs to be checked at checkout rather than accepted at face value.
The current Samsung U.S. product page cited for this article lists the 2025 47mm LTE Ultra at $649.99 before trade-in. Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Ultra page and promotions page indicate offers such as up to $250 in instant trade-in credit, while some campaigns may offer credit without trade-in. Those promotions can change by date, location, account, model, and inventory.
Do not confuse the 2024 and 2025 watches
The $134 Cyber Monday coverage appears to concern the original Galaxy Watch Ultra product cycle. Samsung now separately markets a Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025). Retail listings sometimes use “Galaxy Watch Ultra” without making the model year obvious, so verify the year, model number, storage, color, and connectivity before comparing prices.

- Model year: Confirm whether the listing is for the original 2024 Ultra or the 2025 model.
- Connectivity: The Samsung page cited here is for a 47mm LTE model. Bluetooth/Wi-Fi versions can have different prices and capabilities.
- Condition: New, open-box, refurbished, and marketplace units are different purchases with potentially different warranties, batteries, and return policies.
- Seller: A lower price at Best Buy may be an open-box or third-party “more buying options” offer rather than a new unit sold directly by Best Buy.
The 2025 Samsung listing shows Titanium Blue, Titanium Gray, Titanium Silver, and Titanium White options. Do not assume a deal applies to every color or configuration.
How to calculate your real price
- Select the exact watch year, size, color, and LTE or Bluetooth configuration.
- Choose the trade-in device and record the estimated credit. The maximum advertised credit may not apply to your device.
- Read the condition requirements. The old watch may need to power on, charge, be free of an activation or account lock, and meet Samsung’s stated damage and completeness requirements.
- Check whether the credit is applied immediately at checkout or issued under a post-purchase trade-in process.
- Review what happens if inspection finds a condition mismatch. Samsung’s promotional terms state that the final credit depends on its determination that the submitted device meets eligibility requirements.
- Check taxes, shipping, financing charges, cellular activation, and any carrier requirements. Promotional credits do not necessarily eliminate those costs, and tax treatment can vary by jurisdiction and checkout structure.
- Save the final checkout page showing the watch, trade-in, credit, taxes, shipping, and total before placing the order.
If Samsung later reduces or rejects the trade-in value, the effective cost can be substantially higher than the headline price. Keep the old device until the trade-in has been accepted if the terms allow it, and follow the required backup, reset, and shipping instructions.
Compatibility and LTE costs matter
The Galaxy Watch Ultra is an Android wearable, not an iPhone-compatible Apple Watch alternative. Samsung’s current wearable announcement specifies Android 13.0 or higher and more than 1.5GB of memory for the relevant current-generation devices. Check the requirements for your exact phone and region before ordering.

Some health features may require a Samsung Galaxy phone, Samsung Health, a Samsung account, compatible accessories, or availability in your country. Features and results can also vary by region and device. LTE service requires a compatible carrier plan and may add a recurring monthly charge, so include that cost in the ownership calculation.
What you get for the money
Samsung promotes the Ultra with a titanium case, 10 ATM water resistance, IP68 protection, and a depth rating of up to 100 meters. It also highlights Samsung Health, Galaxy AI health-insight features, and the longest-lasting Galaxy Watch battery claim it made at the time of the product listing. These are manufacturer specifications and claims, not independent test results.
The Ultra makes the most sense for someone who specifically wants its large 47mm case, rugged design, LTE option, larger battery, or outdoor-focused features. Its size can be a disadvantage for smaller wrists or anyone who prefers a light, discreet watch. Samsung’s water-resistance ratings should not be interpreted as a guarantee against every type of water damage or as permission for unrestricted diving.

Who should buy it?
Buy only if the checkout total is genuinely attractive after a trade-in you already intended to replace, and if the listing is a new unit with a normal manufacturer or retailer warranty. The Ultra is most defensible for hikers, travelers, outdoor athletes, and Samsung users who will use its larger, tougher design and LTE capabilities.
Skip or be cautious if you use an iPhone, do not need rugged or outdoor features, dislike large watches, or would have to open a new cellular line to unlock the advertised price. A standard Galaxy Watch may provide the notifications, activity tracking, sleep tracking, and Samsung Health functions you want for less.

How retailer listings can mislead
Best Buy’s Galaxy Watch Ultra listings have shown the 2025 model at $649.99 alongside lower open-box or additional buying options. A “from” price is not comparable with a new, factory-sealed Samsung unit unless the condition, seller, warranty, and return policy match.
The same checks apply to Amazon and other marketplaces: identify the seller, condition, exact model number, included accessories, warranty, and return window. A low price may reflect older inventory or a used device rather than the product shown in the headline.
Bottom line
The $134 Galaxy Watch Ultra was a compelling historical trade-in price, not an unconditional $134 sale. Treat $134.29 as a Cyber Monday 2024 deal-history figure unless a live checkout confirms the same total for your exact model and trade-in. For a current purchase, compare the final out-of-pocket amount—and any LTE subscription cost—with the price of a standard Galaxy Watch or the newer 2025 Ultra.
