Samsung’s Magnet Wireless Battery Pack is a real 5,000mAh Qi2 accessory, but the exact U.S. model—EB-U2500XJEGUS—was not confirmed at all three retailers. Samsung listed it at $64.99, while Best Buy listed the same gray model at $55.99. Samsung’s page showed delivery and in-store pickup unavailable when checked on August 18, 2026. Amazon availability remains unverified.

Best Buy’s listing showed a 4.4/5 rating from 30 reviews and advertised $9 off a $64.99 comparable value. Prices, stock, fulfillment, and retailer pages can change, so confirm the listing before ordering.
On Amazon, check that the listing identifies model EB-U2500 or EB-U2500XJEGUS, gray color, and 5,000mAh capacity. Also verify the seller, “Ships from” and “Sold by” fields, price, and stock. The separate Samsung EB-U2510 is a different 10,000mAh wireless battery pack.

The EB-U2500 is a compact Samsung-branded battery pack with a 5,000mAh cell capacity, Qi2 wireless charging, and USB-C wired charging. Its main appeal is magnetic alignment for convenient phone top-ups—not high-capacity travel charging.

Samsung’s retailer response describes up to 25W through USB-C. That is a wired figure and should not be presented as 25W wireless charging. Qi2 wireless charging is a separate function; Samsung-authored retailer information identifies the wireless capability as up to 15W, but buyers should check the formal specification for their regional model.
What “magnetic” means for Galaxy phones
Qi2 magnetic charging does not mean every Galaxy phone has built-in magnets. Many Galaxy models can charge wirelessly but cannot securely snap onto the pack without a compatible magnetic or Qi2 Ready case.
Samsung-authored answers on Best Buy specifically say the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S24 Ultra, and Galaxy S26 Ultra require a magnetic case for secure attachment. Newer Qi2-capable Galaxy phones, including models in the S25 and S26 families and the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7, may offer better native or case-based support depending on the exact regional phone and accessory.

The practical distinction is important:
- Wireless charging: A Qi-compatible phone may charge when correctly placed on the pack.
- Magnetic attachment: The phone needs the appropriate built-in magnets or a compatible magnetic case.
- Reliable alignment: A case must position its magnetic ring correctly over the phone’s charging coil.
Thick cases, wallet compartments, cards, kickstands, metal plates, and poorly positioned magnetic rings can create a gap or interfere with charging. Samsung’s guidance recommends a Qi2 Ready-certified cover for stable charging and warns that cases and accessories may affect performance. See the user-guide material for those accessory cautions.
iPhone and other devices
Qi-compatible iPhones and other Qi or Qi2 devices may charge wirelessly, but magnetic attachment depends on the device’s magnet arrangement or a compatible MagSafe/Qi2 case. Do not treat “Qi compatible” as a guarantee that every phone will stay attached.
How much battery life should you expect?
Do not buy the EB-U2500 expecting a guaranteed full charge. A 5,000mAh label describes the battery’s cell capacity, not the amount delivered to the phone. Voltage conversion, heat, wireless-transfer losses, alignment, cable use, and the phone’s charging behavior all reduce usable output.

For most modern Galaxy phones, this is best understood as a partial-charge or emergency battery. A Best Buy verified-purchase customer reported roughly a 35% increase on a Galaxy S26, but that is an individual report rather than a controlled test or universal result. Wired charging will generally waste less energy than wireless charging.
Passthrough charging
A verified-purchase Best Buy response says the pack supports passthrough charging—charging the phone while the battery pack itself is connected to power. Treat that as a retailer/customer claim unless Samsung’s documentation for the U.S. model confirms it. If this feature matters to you, verify it with the current manual or retailer support before purchase.

- Charge the battery pack before first use or after a long period of inactivity.
- If the phone does not charge, connect the pack to a charger.
- Press and hold the side button for more than 7 seconds.
- Reconnect the phone.
- If one battery-status LED is blinking, continue charging until at least one additional LED is lit.
- Disconnect and reconnect the USB-C cable if necessary.
Also remove thick cases, cards, metal plates, and accessories; re-center the phone; and confirm that the phone supports wireless charging. Testing USB-C charging can help distinguish an alignment problem from a depleted or faulty pack. Stop using the battery if it becomes unusually hot, swells, smells abnormal, or is physically damaged.

Retail search results can prominently show the EB-U2510 when you search for Samsung wireless power banks. Check the model number before buying: the EB-U2500 is the 5,000mAh magnetic model, while the EB-U2510 is a separate 10,000mAh product.
Should you buy it?
The EB-U2500 makes sense for a Galaxy owner who wants a small, first-party Samsung accessory and already has a compatible magnetic case. Best Buy’s observed $55.99 price is more attractive than Samsung’s $64.99 listing, although availability and price may change.

Skip it if you need two or more phone charges, want to charge several devices during travel, or do not want to purchase a magnetic case. A 10,000mAh Qi2 bank from brands such as UGREEN or INIU may offer more reserve, while 5,000mAh alternatives from Belkin or Anker may be worth comparing for compactness and accessory support. Those products’ prices and stock are volatile and should be checked at purchase time.
Bottom line: Samsung’s Magnet Wireless Battery Pack is a legitimate EB-U2500 accessory, but the evidence supports confirmed listings at Samsung and Best Buy—not a blanket claim that it is available from Amazon. Its strengths are compact Qi2 alignment, Samsung branding, and USB-C backup charging. Its limitations are modest capacity and the likely need for a magnetic case on many Galaxy phones.
