Samsung launched the Galaxy Ring in India on October 16, 2024, at ₹38,999. The launch line-up came in Titanium Black, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold, with nine US-standard sizes from 5 to 13. Samsung’s India store still listed it at ₹38,999 when checked on August 18, 2026, but some colour-and-size combinations were marked “Coming back soon” or unavailable.
India price and availability
The Galaxy Ring went on sale in India through Samsung.com, select retail stores, Amazon India and Flipkart. Samsung’s India buying page showed a listed price of ₹38,999 against an MRP of ₹39,999 on August 18, 2026. That listing is not a guarantee that every configuration is in stock: check the specific colour and size before ordering. Discounts and offers can also change.
Samsung’s launch announcement included a 25W travel adapter for purchases through October 18, 2024. That offer has expired.

Three launch finishes

These were the India launch finishes; current stock can differ by size and colour.

Do not assume these numbers correspond directly to the sizing used by Indian jewellers. Samsung says the Galaxy Ring fit differs slightly from ordinary rings and recommends using its sizing kit.
How Samsung’s sizing kit works
On Samsung’s buying page, choose “I don’t know my size” to request a free sizing kit, or “I know my size” to choose directly. Samsung says to wear the sample ring for at least 24 hours, then confirm the final size through the order page within 14 days of receiving the kit. The page warns that an order may be cancelled and refunded if the size is not confirmed within that period.
- Choose the sizing-kit option if you are unsure; do not rely only on a ring you already own or a jewellery-size conversion.
- Wear the sample on the finger you intend to use, including overnight, and check comfort at different times of day. Fingers can swell, so notice whether the fit becomes uncomfortably tight.
- After the kit arrives, select the final size on the order page within 14 days.
Samsung notes that delivery of some sizes may be delayed when demand is high.

What comes in the box and what the ring offers
Samsung’s India listing names the Galaxy Ring, a charging case and a USB cable as the box contents. The case recharges the ring when it is away from a wall charger.

“Up to seven days” is Samsung’s maximum claim, not a guaranteed runtime or independently verified average. Samsung says results vary with ring size, usage, phone model and other conditions; its published battery testing used a defined pre-release scenario. The resistance ratings describe tested water and dust resistance, not unlimited protection: impact, chemicals, prolonged exposure and wear can affect resistance.
The ring is designed for passive wellness tracking through Samsung Health. Samsung lists sleep tracking and Sleep Score, sleep movement and latency, sleeping heart rate and respiratory rate, snoring analysis with a supported phone setup, heart-rate monitoring and high/low alerts, automatic walking and running detection, inactive alerts, Energy Score, Wellness Tips and skin-temperature-based cycle tracking where supported. Samsung says Samsung Health integration does not require a subscription.

Phone compatibility and feature limits
Samsung lists compatibility with Android phones running Android 11 or later and more than 1.5 GB of memory. Setup and use require the Galaxy Wearable app, a Samsung account and Samsung Health; specified AI wellness features require Samsung Health version 6.27 or later. Basic Android compatibility does not mean every feature works on every Android phone.
- Photo-taking and alarm-dismissal gestures require a compatible Samsung Galaxy phone running One UI 6.1.1 or later; alarm dismissal also depends on a specified Clock app version.
- Find My Ring works through Samsung Find on supported Samsung Galaxy devices and reports the last connected location, rather than tracking the ring continuously.
- Cycle tracking, Energy Score and other services can vary by country or region, paired-phone model and software version.
The ring does not require a Galaxy Watch. Samsung says pairing it with a compatible Galaxy Watch can improve tracking and may extend battery life by up to 30%; that is Samsung’s claim, not a universal result for every user or device combination.
Is it a smartwatch replacement?
No. The Galaxy Ring has no display and is not a substitute for a watch face, notifications, calls, navigation or on-wrist workout controls. Its appeal is a discreet form for sleep and passive health trends. A Galaxy Watch offers more interaction and activity functionality; wearing both can suit someone who wants a watch during the day and a less obtrusive tracker overnight.

Consider it if
- You use a Samsung Galaxy phone and want Samsung Health tracking in a screenless wearable.
- You find a watch uncomfortable to sleep in and prioritise sleep, recovery and passive wellness trends.
- You are comfortable committing to a fixed ring size and using Samsung’s apps and account ecosystem.
Look elsewhere if
- You use an iPhone, or want calling, notifications, navigation or a screen.
- You need medical-grade monitoring or detailed GPS and advanced athletic training features.
- You frequently change fingers, are unwilling to size carefully, or want more interactive smartwatch functions for the money.
For Samsung Galaxy owners who value overnight comfort and passive tracking, the Ring is a premium wellness accessory. Its ₹38,999 price is harder to justify if the goal is a general-purpose wearable rather than a discreet companion to Samsung Health.
