What are the Galaxy M08 and F08, and when did they launch?
The Galaxy M08 and Galaxy F08 are closely related Samsung phones launched in India on 1 October 2026. In the researched 4GB/64GB listings, their core hardware is effectively shared. The main distinctions identified are branding, sales channel and colour: the M08 is listed in silver and the F08 in dark blue. No price was disclosed in the launch coverage reviewed, so there is not enough information here to rank one as better value.

How long will Samsung update the M08 and F08?
Samsung says each phone will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, measured from the first global launch date. Samsung gives the security-update period as valid through 30 September 2032. The OS-upgrade promise is stated as six generations; Samsung’s quoted commitment does not specify the names or delivery dates of each future Android version.

- Tested for battery health and guaranteed to have a minimum battery capacity of 80%.
- Successfully passed a full diagnostic test which ensures like-new functionality and removal of any prior-user personal information.
- Inspected and guaranteed to have minimal cosmetic damage, which is not noticeable when the device is held at arm's length.
- The device does not come with headphones or a SIM card. It does include a charger and charging cable that may be generic.
- Fully Unlocked: Fully unlocked and compatible with any carrier of choice (e.g. AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, US-Cellular, Cricket, Metro, etc.), both domestically and internationally.
That is a substantial support commitment for a budget-tier phone, but it is not a guarantee that every upgrade arrives immediately or simultaneously in every market. Buyers should distinguish the six OS generations from the six-year security period: they are related support promises, but not interchangeable measures.
What do the battery and charging details mean?
Both phones have a 6,000mAh typical-capacity, non-removable battery and support 25W charging. Capacity alone does not establish real-world battery life; screen brightness, mobile signal, apps and usage all affect endurance. Samsung says the 25W charger is sold separately, so check what is included with the specific retail package and factor in buying a compatible charger if needed.

What should buyers expect from the cameras and storage?
Camera setup
The rear system is 50MP + 2MP on both devices. Launch coverage also lists an 8MP front camera. These resolution figures describe the sensors, not the quality of photos: they do not establish low-light performance, video capabilities or whether the secondary rear camera adds much in everyday use. Treat the setup as a basic budget-phone camera configuration unless independent testing demonstrates otherwise.
Storage capacity
The researched configuration is 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. That is a modest starting capacity if you keep many large apps, games, photos or offline video on the phone. Before buying, verify whether the exact listing supports expandable storage and what portion of the advertised storage is available after system software; those details were not established in the launch information summarized here.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose by availability and colour: the researched distinction is silver for the M08 and dark blue for the F08, alongside their different branding and channel positioning.
- Expect similar core hardware: the researched 4GB/64GB listings share the same battery capacity, charging support and camera resolution.
- Account for accessories: neither phone’s 25W charger should be assumed to be included, because Samsung states it is sold separately.
- Wait for verified pricing to judge value: no launch price was disclosed in the reviewed coverage, so a price-based recommendation is premature.
