Reclaim AI is worth considering in 2026 if your calendar is crowded and you want software to fit flexible work around meetings, routines, and focus time. It is less compelling if you prefer to plan each day yourself, need a full project-management system, or have little movable work to schedule.
The biggest change is Reclaim 2.0: alongside automatic scheduling, it adds a chat-based AI Assistant, custom Agents, calendar analysis, and a Preview Mode for reviewing proposed changes before they reach your live calendar. The main caveat is that some public Reclaim help pages still describe its earlier 1.0 product, so published plan limits should be treated as a guide, not a definitive 2.0 feature list.
Quick verdict
| Question | Verdict |
|---|---|
| Best for | Meeting-heavy professionals who want flexible work and routines scheduled around fixed commitments. |
| Main strength | Calendar-first automation: tasks, focus time, habits, and meetings can share the same scheduling context. |
| Free plan | Useful for testing the basic idea; likely too limited for many multi-calendar or team workflows. |
| Main weakness | It schedules work; it is not a substitute for deep project management or a manually curated daily plan. |
| Biggest trade-off | Automatic rescheduling can reduce calendar maintenance, but may make the day feel less predictable. |
| Worth paying for? | Potentially, if you regularly lose time to meeting changes and would otherwise spend meaningful effort reworking your calendar. |
What Reclaim AI does
Reclaim is an AI calendar assistant built to place flexible commitments around events that are already on your calendar. It is not just a task list, a booking-page service, or a project-management suite. Its premise is that the calendar is where work has to happen: Reclaim can use priorities, availability, durations, and deadlines to find or revise time for tasks, recurring habits, focus blocks, and meetings.
Its feature set includes AI Tasks, Focus Time, Habits, Smart Meetings, Scheduling Links, Calendar Sync, buffer time and breaks, a Planner, and time analytics. It also connects with task and collaboration tools including Google Tasks, Todoist, Asana, ClickUp, Jira, Linear, and Slack; calendar and conferencing support includes Google Calendar, Outlook, Zoom, and Google Meet. Availability can vary by plan and product version. See Reclaim’s getting-started guide and Reclaim 2.0 overview.

That calendar-first approach differs from:
- Calendly: primarily an appointment-booking tool. Reclaim also tries to schedule work and defend time.
- A task manager: a task manager tracks and organizes work; Reclaim’s distinctive job is to find calendar time for it, often through integrations.
- A daily planner: a planner such as Sunsama puts more emphasis on deliberately choosing and reviewing the day. Reclaim emphasizes automatic scheduling.
- Project-management software: integrations can bring project tasks into a schedule, but that does not make Reclaim a replacement for project hierarchies, dependencies, or team documentation.
- Calendar sync: syncing events across calendars is one capability, not the whole product.
What changed with Reclaim 2.0
Reclaim describes 2.0 as a complete redesign of its AI calendar, not just a new label for its old time-blocking workflow. The prominent additions are a chat-based AI Assistant for planning, calendar analysis, and resolving conflicts, plus custom Agents configured through AI Chat. The Assistant can help with meeting scheduling and rescheduling and can take account of patterns such as meeting-heavy days, fragmented focus time, and missed routines.
A useful control is Preview Mode: according to Reclaim’s 2.0 FAQ, changes initiated through the Assistant and MCP-related workflows are staged for review before being applied to the live calendar. That gives you a chance to inspect proposed changes; it does not guarantee that every suggestion is right. Read the Reclaim 2.0 FAQ for the current description.
There is a versioning wrinkle. Reclaim’s help center contains both older 1.0 instructions and 2.0 material. In particular, its plan-limits article explicitly says it covers Reclaim 1.0. Treat the 2.0 Assistant, Agents, and Preview Mode as current-version features described in Reclaim’s 2.0 materials; treat the detailed feature quotas below as historical planning guidance unless confirmed in the live 2.0 account or checkout.

Reclaim’s scheduler has to distinguish between fixed commitments and movable ones. A meeting with an external attendee may be effectively fixed; a task or habit with a broad time window may be flexible. The system uses the rules you provide—such as duration, priority, availability, and deadline—to fit flexible items around existing events and may move them when the calendar changes.
This can help when a meeting shifts and the rest of the day needs to be rebalanced. But a scheduled block is not proof that the work will be completed, and a rescheduled block does not create additional capacity. If your calendar is overbooked, Reclaim can only rearrange flexible work, expose conflicts, or leave some work unscheduled; it cannot make the workload smaller.
The quality of the result depends on the inputs. Unrealistic deadlines, inaccurate durations, stale calendar events, or overly broad availability can produce an unhelpful plan. Repeatedly changing priorities can also cause calendar churn. Users should expect to review the schedule and adjust its rules rather than assume an AI scheduler will always find an ideal time.

Feature-by-feature: what to expect
Tasks
AI Tasks are for getting work onto the calendar, with timing shaped by details such as estimated duration, priority, deadline, and available work periods. Reclaim can also bring in work from supported task systems, including Todoist, Asana, ClickUp, Jira, and Linear on plans that include those integrations. That is useful if you want to keep the task manager that already holds your projects while using Reclaim to plan when to work on them.
Do not assume this makes Reclaim a comprehensive task manager. The current materials in the dossier confirm scheduling and integrations, but do not establish the full 2.0 behavior for task dependencies, subtasks, attachments, notes, project hierarchies, overdue tasks, or completion outside the scheduled block. If those details matter to your workflow, check them in your account before migrating task ownership. A task with a deadline but no realistic open time still has no good slot to take.
Focus Time
Focus Time is intended to defend blocks for concentrated work around existing events. This is one of Reclaim’s clearest use cases: instead of manually blocking a preferred number of hours and repeatedly moving those blocks, you can give the scheduler rules for protecting focus time.
There is still a balance to manage. Protecting more time can reduce the availability you offer for meetings, and a movable focus block may be less reassuring than a fixed appointment if you want a stable visual plan. The supplied current materials do not settle every 2.0 detail—such as precisely which focus-block controls remain, how they are labeled to colleagues, or all interactions with booking links—so check the live interface and test it against your meeting priorities.
Habits
Habits are recurring routines that need a place in the calendar: exercise, lunch, reading, or a planning session, for example. Their value is flexibility: a routine can be scheduled within a window rather than treated as an immovable meeting. That makes them different from simply adding a fixed recurring event.

Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Consider which routines genuinely can move. A workout may be flexible within a day; a class with a set start time is not. Test how a habit behaves when it conflicts with a high-priority meeting, when you skip it, and when your day is already full. The 1.0 plan article lists one Habit on Lite and unlimited Habits on paid tiers, but confirm current 2.0 limits before relying on that quota.

- Portable 8.2" E Ink Tablet for Daily Reading:At just 230g, AiPaper Mini works as a compact e-paper tablet, ebook reader, and digital notebook for ebooks, articles, class notes, travel reading, and daily planning; easy to carry in a bag like a notebook.A natural E Ink refresh latency is expected.

- Paper-Like Writing with W2 Stylus Pro Pen:The included W2 pen supports precise note-taking, PDF annotation, sketches, to-do lists, and meeting notes, making this note-taking tablet useful for students, commuters, remote workers, and everyday planning.

Smart Meetings
Smart Meetings are for recurring meetings that need to find workable times across invitees, including their time zones and preferences. They are distinct from ordinary calendar events, which already have a chosen time, and from Scheduling Links, where someone else chooses among slots you expose.
They can be useful for recurring one-to-ones or team meetings whose time needs to adapt. Their effectiveness depends on calendar access, attendee availability, and permissions—not just the organizer’s settings. The legacy plan table lists three Smart Meetings as organizer on Starter and unlimited on higher tiers; verify those limits and seat requirements in the current plan view.
Scheduling Links
Reclaim Scheduling Links let other people book a time against your availability. Compared with a basic booking page, the intended advantage is that availability can account for calendar priorities and flexible rules, rather than treating every open-looking slot as equally suitable. Team Scheduling Links are aimed at coordinated availability.
This makes Reclaim a credible option for someone who already wants the rest of its calendar automation. If you only need external booking links, Calendly may be the simpler product to evaluate. Before sharing a Reclaim link, check which calendars and events affect availability, whether lower-priority blocks can be treated as movable, how a booking affects existing flexible blocks, what conferencing options are available, and what the invitee sees. The legacy plan page lists one personal link on Lite, three on Starter, and unlimited on Business and Enterprise, plus team links on paid tiers; verify current 2.0 terms before choosing a plan.
Calendar Sync and multiple calendars
Multiple calendars are a practical reason to consider Reclaim: work, personal, or client calendars can all affect when you are actually free. Reclaim’s plan documentation describes connected calendars and calendar sync, but it does not justify assuming that every event is copied in the same way, that changes propagate instantly, or that Google Calendar and Outlook behave identically in every workflow.
Before depending on it, identify which calendar is the scheduling source, how private events appear, how overlapping events are interpreted, and what happens when two calendars disagree. Check that changes propagate as expected and test with a harmless event before relying on the setup for client commitments. The 1.0 limits list up to two connected calendars on Lite and unlimited on paid plans, but do not treat that as guaranteed 2.0 packaging.

With 128GB of built-in storage, it offers generous space for your growing digital workspace, with customer support for setup, product questions, and troubleshooting.
Planner, analytics, and integrations
The Planner and time analytics add a way to inspect how time is arranged, while integrations can reduce the need to re-enter tasks or coordinate work across separate apps. Reclaim documents connections to Google Calendar and Outlook, task systems such as Google Tasks, Todoist, Asana, ClickUp, Jira, and Linear, and collaboration tools including Slack; conferencing integrations include Zoom and Google Meet. Exact access can be plan-dependent.
Integrations add convenience, but also permissions and synchronization questions. Decide which app remains the source of truth for tasks, avoid connecting several systems that create duplicate copies of the same work, and confirm what access your employer permits. A connected task does not necessarily carry every project-management feature into Reclaim’s calendar view.
Reclaim AI pricing and plan choice
Pricing checked against the supplied official-page snapshot for August 2026: Reclaim’s pricing page displayed Lite as free and Starter at $12 per seat per month. Check Reclaim’s live pricing page before subscribing; prices, billing terms, limits, and offers can change. The supplied information does not establish a current Business or Enterprise price, so this review does not guess at one.
The following quotas come from Reclaim’s own plan article, which is explicitly about 1.0. They are useful as a rough map of the distinctions historically made between plans, not as a definitive 2.0 comparison.
| Legacy plan reference | Scheduling range | Connected calendars | Habits | Smart Meetings as organizer | Personal Scheduling Links | Other listed details |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | 1 week | Up to 2 | 1 | Not listed | 1 | Google Tasks listed; external task integrations and team links not listed. |
| Starter | 8 weeks | Unlimited | Unlimited | 3 | 3 | Team Scheduling Links and several external task integrations listed. |
| Business | 12 weeks | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Team links and external task integrations listed. |
| Enterprise | 12 weeks | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | SSO and SCIM listed. |
Source for these legacy distinctions: Reclaim’s plan article. Check the current 2.0 account or checkout for actual entitlements, billing frequency, seat rules, and security features.
Is Lite useful? Yes, as a way to evaluate whether automatic scheduling suits you, or for a simple individual workflow with few calendars and modest needs. It may not be enough if you need a longer scheduling horizon, several habits, external task integrations, more booking links, or team features.

For a team, calculate the per-seat cost and verify who needs a paid seat for scheduling and administration.
Reclaim’s pricing page had also shown a switching discount for some users and a promotion with an end date of July 31, 2026. Strong fit
- Meeting-heavy professionals: Managers, consultants, and founders with recurring meetings and flexible work that must fit around them.
- People who need protected focus time: Especially those who would otherwise repeatedly create and repair focus blocks by hand.
- Multi-calendar users: People whose work, personal, or client commitments all affect availability—provided the plan and integrations support their setup.
- Users with an existing task system: People who want calendar scheduling without abandoning tools such as Todoist, Asana, ClickUp, Jira, or Linear.
- Teams coordinating recurring meetings: If members’ calendar access and plan entitlements support the required workflow.
- Former Clockwise users: Reclaim is one possible migration path, but it is Reclaim’s own recommendation and not proof of a like-for-like replacement.
Weak fit
- Project-first planners: If dependencies, nested projects, documentation, or a rich task hierarchy are central, keep or choose a project-management tool.
- People who want a steady, manually planned day: Reclaim’s flexibility can feel like calendar churn if you dislike blocks moving.
- Light calendar users: If most of the day is fixed or you rarely move tasks around, a subscription may add more complexity than value.
- Booking-link-only users: Calendly is more direct to assess if external appointment scheduling is the whole need.
- Privacy-sensitive workplaces: Do not connect work calendars or task systems until your employer approves the data access and integration.

- Engineering manager with recurring one-to-ones: Smart Meetings may help coordinate recurring time, while focus blocks and tasks fill the remaining space. It will not make an overbooked week less overbooked.
- Freelancer using Todoist and Google Calendar: A task integration could put selected work on the calendar while Todoist remains the task source of truth. Confirm what task details sync and how edits propagate.
- Former Clockwise user: Clockwise announced shutdown for March 27, 2026. Reclaim is a potential successor to evaluate, not a guaranteed identical replacement; compare the actual scheduling behavior and permissions your workflow needs. Reclaim’s migration recommendation is described in its Clockwise announcement.
- Overloaded calendar: Reclaim can reorganize flexible commitments, but if all available time is consumed, it cannot solve the capacity problem. You may need to renegotiate deadlines, decline meetings, or reduce scope.
- Manual daily planner: If you prefer to choose a short list of priorities and deliberately place each item, a conventional calendar plus task manager—or a guided planner such as Sunsama—may feel more controlled.
Reclaim versus alternatives
| Option | Better match when you want… | Choose it over Reclaim if… |
|---|---|---|
| Motion | More aggressive task, project, and calendar automation. | You want one system to prioritize projects and schedule work, rather than primarily optimizing an existing calendar. Compare current plans at Motion’s pricing page. |
| Sunsama | A deliberate daily planning ritual that brings tasks and calendar commitments together. | You want to decide what goes into each day rather than delegate much of the scheduling. Its pricing page lists a 14-day trial, $22 monthly billing, and $17 per month billed yearly in the supplied snapshot; confirm at Sunsama’s pricing page. |
| Akiflow | A unified task inbox and more manual, keyboard-focused time blocking. | You want to place tasks yourself and value control over autonomous rescheduling. Verify current plans at Akiflow’s pricing page. |
| Calendly | External booking links and appointment scheduling. | You do not need focus-time protection, habits, or task scheduling. See Calendly’s pricing page for current plans. |
| Google Calendar plus a task manager | Familiar controls and a simpler stack. | You are comfortable managing time blocks yourself and do not need automatic rebalancing. Try Google Calendar with Google Tasks before adding another subscription. |
| Clockwise | Not a current buying option. | Clockwise’s announced shutdown date was March 27, 2026; consider it only as migration context. |
These tools are built around different planning styles, so feature counts alone are not a useful winner-take-all comparison. Motion’s project-oriented automation, Sunsama’s intentional daily planning, Akiflow’s manual control, Calendly’s booking focus, and Reclaim’s calendar-first scheduling solve overlapping but different problems.
Limitations and checks before subscribing
- Measure calendar churn: Decide how often you are willing to review or move scheduled blocks. If a stable plan matters more than flexibility, automation may frustrate you.
- Test a genuinely difficult week: Include an existing conflict, a movable task, a recurring habit, and a meeting change. See what becomes unscheduled and what moves.
- Check integration ownership: Choose which system owns task status and details. Disconnecting an integration or editing the same task in two places can create confusion.
- Review permissions and privacy: Ask what event titles, descriptions, attendees, task details, and Assistant prompts are processed; how they are used and retained; whether data is used to train models; and what controls your employer has. Review Reclaim’s current Help Center, privacy terms, and security materials before connecting sensitive accounts. Do not infer compliance from a plan label.
- Confirm team administration: If you need SSO, SCIM, security reviews, or centralized integration controls, verify the current plan and documentation directly. The legacy table associates SSO and SCIM with Enterprise, but it is not definitive for 2.0.
- Check what happens on downgrade or cancellation: Before relying on copied or scheduled events, verify how they are handled if you disconnect an integration or end a subscription.
- Confirm the actual plan limits: In particular, check connected calendars, scheduling horizon, habits, Smart Meetings, links, task integrations, seats, and billing terms in the live account.
Final recommendation
Try Reclaim’s free plan if you want to see whether calendar automation suits you and a small, individual workflow is enough for an honest evaluation. Consider paying when a concrete limit blocks a recurring use case—such as multiple calendars, more habits, task integrations, Smart Meetings, or team links—and the time saved managing the calendar is worth the per-seat fee.
Choose another approach if your main need is deep project management, a calmer manual planning ritual, or simple appointment booking. And if a basic Google Calendar plus task-manager setup already works, there is no reason to add Reclaim just because it is labeled AI. Reclaim is most worthwhile when the calendar itself has become a recurring piece of administrative work and you are comfortable supervising an automated, flexible plan.
