The realme 16 Pro+ 5G uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Mobile Platform. realme advertises an AnTuTu result of up to 1,440,000, but identifies it as a realme Lab result—not a score every retail phone is guaranteed to reproduce.
Which chipset does the realme 16 Pro+ use?
The realme 16 Pro+ 5G is built around the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Mobile Platform. realme’s Singapore specifications list an eight-core CPU and an Adreno 722 GPU running at up to 1,150MHz; the platform is specified as 4nm. The company also markets LPDDR5X memory support.

This is not the same chipset as the standard realme 16 Pro 5G, which uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max 5G. The two models should not be treated as interchangeable when comparing performance claims.
What AnTuTu score does realme claim?
realme’s India product page states an AnTuTu score of up to 1,440,000 points. The page attributes the result to realme Lab and says actual data may vary with the testing environment and benchmark calculation method. So the score is confirmed as realme’s claim, not as a standardized result independently established for every retail unit.

The same page compares the figure with a stated competitor score of 1,270,000. That is realme’s marketing comparison, not an independently verified, same-condition head-to-head test. See realme’s product-page claim.
What do reported results show, and why do they vary?
Third-party figures are not uniform. MobileShop lists 1,147,970 in AnTuTu v10 and 1,413,772 in v11 for the device. Gadgets 360’s review result lists 1,399,710 in AnTuTu v10. These are reported results, not a controlled consensus or a guarantee of what another handset will score.
Do not read the v10 and v11 numbers as a direct before-and-after comparison: benchmark versions can change how scores are calculated. Results can also move with firmware, performance mode, RAM and storage configuration, background activity, battery state, ambient temperature, and whether the phone is cool or already heat-soaked. Regional firmware can differ as well.

What does the chip mean for everyday use and gaming?
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, paired with Adreno 722 graphics and LPDDR5X memory support, places the Pro+ in an upper-midrange performance tier. That is a reasonable basis to expect capable multitasking and support for demanding apps and mainstream games, but a peak synthetic score does not establish sustained gaming performance, temperatures, or frame rates across titles.
realme claims up to 120fps in mainstream games; the result depends on the game, its optimization, graphics settings, and software mode. The company also says GT Boost can deliver 15% higher GPU performance and 18% higher CPU performance under its stated comparison conditions. These are manufacturer claims, not universal gains for every workload.
The phone’s listed supporting hardware includes LPDDR5X memory, a claimed memory read/write speed of 8,400Mbps, 80W charging, and a 7,000mAh typical-capacity battery on India and Europe product information. Those specifications help describe the product, but they do not independently prove a particular AnTuTu result, battery life, or long-session gaming behavior. AnTuTu also says little directly about camera quality, modem reliability, software smoothness, or long-term battery health.

What should buyers check beyond the score?
- For gaming: Look for sustained frame rates, supported graphics settings, heat, and throttling in the specific games you play. A peak AnTuTu run does not answer those questions.
- For regional purchases: Confirm the local storage variant, battery specification, eSIM support, network bands, warranty, and software details. Regional product pages differ; for example, Europe lists eSIM support for some carriers, while Mexico’s specifications say eSIM is not supported.
- For a purchase decision: Weigh the chipset alongside price, camera priorities, software and update support, and local warranty. No reliable current official price is established here, so check the relevant regional store rather than relying on an unverified figure.
