Adreno 810 benchmark results
The figures below are sampled-device aggregates from Notebookcheck, updated February 18, 2026. They are not immutable scores for the GPU itself. Phone and tablet cooling, firmware, RAM, power limits, screen resolution, and the host SoC can all change the result.
| Benchmark | Minimum | Average | Median | Maximum |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3DMark Steel Nomad Light | 353 | 388.5 | 399 | 413 |
| 3DMark Wild Life Unlimited | 3,766 | 4,224 | 4,222 | 4,457 |

These numbers are best used as a performance range. A benchmark result from one Adreno 810 phone is not a promise that every other phone or tablet with the same GPU will produce the same score.
How fast is the Adreno 810 compared with other GPUs?
Compared with Adreno 710
Notebookcheck’s Steel Nomad Light comparison lists the Adreno 710 at 261 points and the Adreno 810 at 388.5. That is roughly 49% higher for the Adreno 810 in the cited database comparison.
This establishes a clear lead in that aggregate, but it does not mean every Adreno 810 phone will be 49% faster in every game. The compared devices may differ in cooling, memory, software, power limits, and test conditions.
Compared with Adreno 720
The Adreno 720 remains faster in the cited results. Notebookcheck lists averages of 501 in Steel Nomad Light and 5,608 in Wild Life Unlimited for the Adreno 720, compared with 388.5 and 4,224 for the Adreno 810.
The practical conclusion is that Adreno 810 is a strong mid-range GPU, not a replacement for a higher-end Adreno 720-class design.
Compared with flagship Adreno GPUs
Notebookcheck’s comparison coverage places the Adreno 810 below newer flagship GPUs such as the Adreno 730, Adreno 830, and Adreno 840. The exact gap depends on the benchmark, test mode, device, and power configuration, so a single percentage ranking would be misleading.
See the available Adreno 810 versus Adreno 830 and Adreno 810 versus Adreno 840 comparisons for database context.
What about Qualcomm’s “up to 40% faster” claim?
Notebookcheck reports Qualcomm’s claim that the Adreno 810 is up to 40% faster than the previous generation, generally understood in this context as an Adreno 710-class comparison. “Up to” describes a best-case vendor claim under a defined test setup; it is not an average guaranteed improvement and should not be converted into a promise of 40% faster game performance.
Adreno 810 gaming performance
The available benchmark position suggests that the Adreno 810 is suitable for:
- Android’s interface, video playback, and ordinary multimedia;
- popular competitive games, often at high frame rates when settings and resolution are appropriate;
- mainstream 3D games at medium to high settings; and
- many demanding games at reduced resolution or lower quality settings.
It should not be chosen with the expectation of flagship-level graphics in every title. Maximum settings, sustained high refresh rates, and demanding effects can exceed what a mid-range GPU can maintain, especially in a thin, passively cooled phone.

Game performance depends on the Snapdragon variant, GPU frequency, thermal throttling, screen resolution, RAM bandwidth, Android software, driver support, game-engine optimization, and whether the title uses Vulkan or OpenGL ES. No universal frame-rate claim can be made from the GPU name alone.
Notebookcheck lists ray tracing as unsupported, so the Adreno 810 should not be marketed as a hardware ray-tracing solution or as a platform for console-like ray-traced graphics.
Which Snapdragon platforms use the Adreno 810?
Notebookcheck currently lists the GPU with the following platforms:
- Snapdragon 7s Gen 3;
- Snapdragon 7s Gen 4; and
- Snapdragon 6 Gen 4.
This is a database-observed association, not necessarily a complete official Qualcomm compatibility list. The Snapdragon device finder can help identify products, but regional variants should still be checked with the manufacturer: Qualcomm Snapdragon device finder.

Adreno 810 versus Snapdragon 810: the naming trap
They are unrelated generations. Adreno 810 is a newer mid-range GPU. Snapdragon 810 was Qualcomm’s older 2015 processor, and its graphics component was the Adreno 430—not the Adreno 810.
Qualcomm’s official Snapdragon 810 documentation describes an octa-core 64-bit processor, up to 2 GHz, a 20 nm process, and Adreno 430 graphics: Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 specifications.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteWhat to check before buying an Adreno 810 device
- Verify the complete chipset. Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, 7s Gen 4, and 6 Gen 4 can differ in CPU, memory, modem, and power behavior even when the GPU name is the same.
- Look for sustained-performance evidence. Larger phones and tablets may cool the GPU more effectively than thin designs. Peak benchmark performance is not the same as performance after prolonged gaming.
- Consider display resolution. A 1080p-class screen generally places less load on the GPU than a higher-resolution panel. A 144 Hz screen is useful only when the game can sustain a high frame rate.
- Check memory and storage. RAM capacity, memory bandwidth, storage speed, and aggressive background-app management affect the overall experience.
- Review software support. Qualcomm provides an Adreno platform overview that discusses driver and graphics-platform capabilities, but actual update delivery depends on the device maker and software stack.
- Judge the whole device. Software-update policy, battery life, display quality, cameras, modem behavior, warranty, regional availability, and price can matter more than a moderate GPU difference.
A phone marketed with Adreno 810 may be a poor choice if its regional model uses another chipset, its high-resolution display removes the performance advantage, its cooling is weak, or its price approaches a device with a substantially faster GPU.
Bottom line on the Adreno 810
Adreno 810 is a capable mid-range Android GPU. Its reported database scores put it clearly ahead of Adreno 710 in the cited Steel Nomad Light comparison, while Adreno 720 and modern flagship Adreno GPUs remain faster. It should handle everyday graphics, competitive gaming, and mainstream 3D titles well when paired with a sensibly configured device.
For a buying decision, treat the GPU as one part of the platform. Check the exact Snapdragon chip, cooling, display resolution, RAM, software support, and sustained-performance results rather than assuming that every Adreno 810 device will perform identically.
