Di solito Android non si aggiorna all’infinito: può mostrare in successione aggiornamenti diversi per il sistema, le patch di sicurezza, il sistema Google Play o le app. Se invece ricompare sempre la stessa richiesta dopo il riavvio, l’installazione potrebbe non essersi completata. Identificare che cosa si sta aggiornando è il primo passo per risolvere il problema senza cancellare i dati.
Prima di tutto: quale aggiornamento continua a comparire?
Controlla il testo esatto della notifica e dove appare. Android, il Play Store e i componenti Google hanno canali di aggiornamento distinti; le etichette e i menu possono variare in base al produttore, al modello e alla versione del software.

Un aggiornamento del sistema Google Play non equivale necessariamente a un aggiornamento della versione principale di Android. Anche versione Android, livello della patch di sicurezza, data del sistema Google Play e numero build possono cambiare separatamente. Controllare versione e data installate
- Apri Impostazioni e vai a Informazioni sul telefono (o Informazioni sul tablet).
- Tocca Versione Android e annota la versione, il livello patch di sicurezza e il numero build. Su alcune versioni recenti di Android, alcune informazioni sono anche in Sicurezza e privacy > Sistema e aggiornamenti.
- Se vuoi verificare il sistema Google Play, cerca Aggiornamento del sistema Google Play in Sicurezza e privacy > Sistema e aggiornamenti. Su alcuni dispositivi si trova sotto Informazioni sul telefono > Versione Android.
Per cercare un aggiornamento di sistema, il percorso generale è Impostazioni > Sistema > Aggiornamento software o Aggiornamento di sistema. Su Samsung normalmente è Impostazioni > Aggiornamento software > Scarica e installa; su Pixel e altri modelli il nome o la posizione può differire. Le tempistiche di rilascio dipendono anche da produttore, modello e operatore. Consulta le indicazioni di Google sugli aggiornamenti Android.

Perché lo stesso aggiornamento può tornare
In realtà sono pacchetti diversi
Una patch di sicurezza, un aggiornamento del sistema Google Play e gli aggiornamenti delle app possono arrivare in giorni ravvicinati. Confronta nome, categoria e data dell’avviso: più notifiche non dimostrano da sole che il telefono stia ripetendo la stessa installazione.
L’aggiornamento attende il riavvio o non si è installato
Alcuni aggiornamenti diventano effettivi soltanto dopo un riavvio. Un riavvio singolo durante o dopo l’installazione può essere normale. Se la stessa richiesta ricompare a ogni avvio e la data o la build non cambia, l’installazione potrebbe essere rimasta in sospeso, essere fallita o essere stata annullata. Google descrive il riavvio come parte del processo per molti aggiornamenti Android.

Spazio libero insufficiente
Il telefono può avere bisogno di spazio temporaneo per preparare e applicare un aggiornamento, oltre a quello occupato dal download. Google avverte che possono iniziare problemi quando resta libero meno del 10% dello spazio di archiviazione: è un’indicazione generale, non una soglia identica per ogni modello. - Svuota il cestino della galleria o di Google Foto, se i file eliminati vi restano conservati.
- Disinstalla app che non usi e riavvia il telefono prima di riprovare.
- Non eliminare cartelle o dati di sistema che non riconosci.
Download interrotto, rete instabile o batteria bassa
Una connessione che cade può interrompere il download; alcuni produttori o operatori richiedono il Wi-Fi. Anche una batteria scarica può impedire l’installazione. Per i dispositivi Samsung, il produttore raccomanda almeno il 50% di carica e spazio sufficiente; non è una regola universale per tutti gli Android. Consulta le indicazioni di Samsung per gli aggiornamenti software.

Procedura sicura per fermare una richiesta ripetuta
- Annota il messaggio preciso. Distingui tra aggiornamento di sistema, sistema Google Play, notifica del Play Store o nome di un’app.
- Controlla le versioni installate. Segna livello patch, data del sistema Google Play e numero build; confrontali dopo il riavvio.
- Riavvia normalmente il telefono. Se torna alla schermata iniziale e funziona, verifica se la data o la build è cambiata.
- Libera spazio e collega il caricabatterie. Lascia un margine disponibile e non limitarti alla dimensione del file indicata nella notifica.
- Usa una rete Wi-Fi stabile. Se usi VPN o proxy e il download non procede, disattivali temporaneamente e riprova. Evita di spegnere il telefono durante l’installazione.
- Avvia l’aggiornamento manualmente. Torna alla schermata degli aggiornamenti e controlla lo stato. Se è un dispositivo Samsung, il percorso abituale è Impostazioni > Aggiornamento software > Scarica e installa.
Se si blocca una singola app, apri il Google Play Store > profilo > Gestisci app e dispositivo > Aggiornamenti disponibili. Prova ad aggiornare quell’app da lì; se resta bloccata, controlla spazio e connessione e annota il nome dell’app.
Se si aggiornano automaticamente le app
Per cambiare le impostazioni del Play Store, apri Google Play Store > profilo > Impostazioni > Preferenze di rete > Aggiornamento automatico app. Puoi scegliere un’opzione basata sul Wi-Fi o sui dati mobili, oppure Non aggiornare automaticamente le app. Le etichette possono variare leggermente.

Disattivare l’aggiornamento automatico riguarda soprattutto le app del Play Store: non ferma automaticamente gli aggiornamenti Android o del sistema Google Play. Inoltre, Google segnala che alcuni aggiornamenti necessari a correggere vulnerabilità critiche possono essere applicati anche con l’aggiornamento automatico disattivato. Leggi come aggiornare le app Android e modificare le preferenze automatiche.
Play Store e Google Play Services non sono la stessa cosa
Il Play Store è l’app che distribuisce app e contenuti. Puoi controllarne l’aggiornamento aprendo Play Store > profilo > Impostazioni > Informazioni > Aggiorna Play Store; se ne trova uno, può scaricarlo e installarlo automaticamente dopo qualche minuto. Google indica come aggiornare il Play Store.

Google Play Services è invece un componente software di sistema distinto, usato da funzioni e app sui dispositivi Android certificati. Non disattivarlo per fermare le notifiche: la disattivazione può compromettere il normale funzionamento del telefono. Google spiega che cosa fa Google Play Services.
Quando la notifica è in realtà un boot loop
Una notifica ripetuta lascia il telefono avviarsi e arrivare alla schermata principale. In un boot loop, invece, il dispositivo mostra il logo, tenta di avviarsi e si riavvia senza completare l’avvio. Un errore di aggiornamento può causare riavvii ripetuti; per Samsung è un problema noto da trattare separatamente dalla semplice richiesta che ricompare.
- Scollega accessori e power bank; se il dispositivo è caldo, lascialo raffreddare.
- Prova un riavvio forzato seguendo le istruzioni del produttore, perché la combinazione di tasti varia per modello.
- Se riesci ad avviare la modalità provvisoria, usala per verificare se il problema dipende da un’app scaricata. La procedura per entrarvi cambia secondo il dispositivo.
- Se il telefono riparte normalmente, rimuovi una alla volta le app installate o aggiornate appena prima che iniziasse il problema e riavvia dopo ogni rimozione. La modalità provvisoria disattiva temporaneamente le app scaricate; Google spiega come usarla per risolvere problemi.
Il ripristino ai dati di fabbrica non è il primo tentativo: cancella i dati presenti sul dispositivo e richiede un backup verificato. Potrebbe non risolvere un bug dell’aggiornamento o un problema che ritorna quando reinstalli la stessa app. Google avverte di eseguire un backup prima del ripristino.

- La stessa installazione fallisce anche dopo aver liberato spazio e provato con Wi-Fi e caricabatterie.
- Il telefono resta sul logo o si riavvia senza arrivare alla schermata principale.
- Il problema è iniziato subito dopo un aggiornamento e impedisce l’uso normale del dispositivo.
- Il telefono è aziendale o gestito da un amministratore, che potrebbe controllare aggiornamenti e tempi di installazione.
Quando chiedi assistenza, prepara marca e modello, versione Android, testo esatto dell’avviso, spazio libero, data dell’ultimo aggiornamento e indica se il telefono raggiunge la schermata principale. Questi dettagli aiutano a distinguere un aggiornamento in attesa da un errore specifico del dispositivo.
