OnePlus announced November 13, 2025, as the OnePlus 15’s international launch date, after unveiling the phone in China on October 27. The newly highlighted finish was Ultra Violet, joining Infinite Black and Sand Storm. For U.S. readers, however, the announcement date should not be treated as a definitive retail-on-sale date: OnePlus explicitly confirmed Canadian sales from November 13, while its North American release was less specific about U.S. availability.
OnePlus 15 launch dates: China, global announcement and North America

The distinction matters if you are searching for a U.S. release date. The November 13 date was the announced international launch date, but OnePlus’ North American release did not state U.S. retail availability with the same clarity it used for Canada. It directed U.S. buyers to its U.S. OnePlus 15 page for sale information. So, it is accurate to say OnePlus announced a November 13 global/U.S. launch; it is not safe to turn that into an unqualified claim that U.S. customers could buy the phone in stores that day.
Ultra Violet joins the OnePlus 15 color lineup
Ultra Violet was the new finish highlighted in the launch coverage. OnePlus describes it as a violet finish with a light-responsive, dual-texture coating, giving it a shifting, iridescent appearance. The other colors are Infinite Black and Sand Storm.
Color availability was tied to storage in OnePlus’ North American launch table: the 12GB RAM/256GB model was listed only in Infinite Black, while the 16GB RAM/512GB model was listed in all three colors, including Ultra Violet. Buyers seeking the violet finish should check the live U.S. store, since configuration and stock can change.

Launch configurations and U.S. prices
OnePlus listed these U.S. launch prices in its North American announcement:
- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage: $899.99, Infinite Black only.
- 16GB RAM + 512GB storage: $999.99, Infinite Black, Sand Storm or Ultra Violet.
OnePlus marked U.S. pricing as subject to change. These are historical launch prices, not a confirmation of current August 2026 pricing; check the official U.S. product page for current price, stock, shipping and configuration options.
What the OnePlus 15 brought to the launch
The phone’s headline hardware helps explain the attention around its launch, though specifications alone do not establish real-world performance or camera quality. OnePlus lists a 6.78-inch display with gaming refresh rates up to 165Hz, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform and a 7,300mAh equivalent dual-cell battery. The rear system comprises three 50MP cameras, including a telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.

For the U.S. and Canada, OnePlus lists 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The phone runs OxygenOS 16, based on Android 16. Refresh rate depends on settings and app support; not every game or app will run at 165Hz, and battery life varies with use, network conditions and display settings. As of August 18, 2026: OnePlus has since announced that it will conclude new product rollouts in North America and Europe. That announcement concerns future product launches; it does not say the OnePlus 15 was cancelled. OnePlus says existing devices will continue to receive software updates and security patches, warranty coverage, and after-sales support. The company also said eligible existing devices would have an option to move to ColorOS 17 after its official release, with further rollback details to be announced later. The OnePlus 15 remains listed on OnePlus’ U.S. site with a Buy Now path, but availability and terms should be verified there before purchasing. The later change makes the future North American flagship roadmap less certain; it is not, by itself, a notice that support for the OnePlus 15 is ending.
