NVIDIA’s Verified Priority Access program is real, but it is not a guaranteed RTX 5090, RTX 5080, or RTX 5070 purchase. The U.S. program was introduced in February 2025 and gives selected, verified users an opportunity to buy eligible Founders Edition cards through NVIDIA, potentially at the company’s announced MSRP.
As of September 15, 2026, the available evidence confirms the program’s existence and earlier continuing U.S. invitations, but does not independently establish that NVIDIA has opened a brand-new U.S. enrollment wave. Check NVIDIA’s official enrollment page for the current status.
What NVIDIA Verified Priority Access actually does
Verified Priority Access is an invitation-based purchasing program for selected GeForce users and creators. Instead of competing with automated buyers during a public product drop, eligible users can register their interest and may later receive an invitation to purchase a qualifying Founders Edition graphics card through NVIDIA’s marketplace.
That can reduce the advantage of bots and give selected buyers a better route to official pricing. It is not, however, a guaranteed anti-scalper solution. NVIDIA says demand may exceed available inventory, and enrollment does not guarantee an invitation.

The program should therefore be understood as limited invitation-based access, not a reservation, guaranteed queue position, discount, or promise that every enrollee will receive a card.
Is the program newly live in the U.S.?
No new U.S. launch on a specific August or September 2026 date is established by the available evidence. NVIDIA introduced the U.S. program in February 2025. In an August 2025 announcement, the company said U.S. invitations were continuing while Verified Priority Access expanded to additional European countries.
That distinction matters: a page that allows previously enrolled users to remain eligible is not necessarily a newly opened public registration period. The U.S. page may be closed, paused, model-specific, geographically restricted, or available only to people who enrolled earlier.

The initial U.S. announcement covered these Founders Edition models:

NVIDIA community information later reported an expansion to the GeForce RTX 5070 Founders Edition. Treat that addition as subject to the current terms on NVIDIA’s enrollment page.
Do not assume that every RTX 50-series product qualifies. The following are not automatically included:
- GeForce RTX 5070 Ti
- Partner cards from ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, PNY, Zotac, or other manufacturers
- RTX laptop GPUs
- Prebuilt desktop systems
- Other RTX 50-series models not listed in the active program terms
Verified Priority Access eligibility is model-specific and Founders Edition-specific. Ordinary RTX 50-series listings on NVIDIA’s marketplace or at retailers are separate from the program.
Who could enroll?
The original U.S. requirements included:
- A U.S.-based GeForce user
- An NVIDIA Account
- An account created on or before January 30, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. Pacific Time
- Completion of NVIDIA’s enrollment or interest form
The account cutoff is historical. NVIDIA may change the requirements, so readers should treat the live form and its terms as controlling rather than assuming that the old cutoff still applies exactly.
Owning an RTX graphics card, using the NVIDIA App, buying an older GPU, or subscribing to another NVIDIA service does not by itself guarantee eligibility or selection.
How to enroll
- Open NVIDIA’s official Verified Priority Access page.
- Sign in with the NVIDIA Account that meets the displayed eligibility requirements.
- Complete the requested profile, location, consent, and contact information.
- Submit interest for any eligible Founders Edition model shown to you.
- Monitor the email address associated with the NVIDIA Account.
- If selected, follow NVIDIA’s verification and purchase instructions within the stated time window.
- Complete the purchase through the NVIDIA Marketplace or the destination specified in the official invitation.
Not seeing an enrollment form does not necessarily mean there is a technical problem. The current phase may be closed, limited to existing enrollees, unavailable in your region, or restricted to particular models.

Enrollment is not the same as getting a graphics card
There are four separate stages:

| Enrollment | You express interest in the program. |
| Selection | NVIDIA chooses whether to send you an invitation. |
| Invitation | You receive an opportunity to attempt a purchase. |
| Completed order | You successfully buy the available product before the terms or inventory expire. |
NVIDIA has not publicly documented a complete selection formula in the available material. There is not enough evidence to claim that selection is a pure lottery, first-come-first-served queue, or system based on purchase history. Repeatedly refreshing a page, using the NVIDIA App, owning a particular GPU, or enrolling early should not be presented as a proven way to improve the odds.
What “at MSRP” means
The program’s main appeal is the possibility of buying a qualifying Founders Edition card near NVIDIA’s official reference price instead of paying a reseller markup. NVIDIA’s January 2025 launch announcement listed these starting prices:

These are January 2025 launch-price signals, not guaranteed September 2026 checkout prices. Taxes, shipping, inventory, regional restrictions, changed policies, and the exact product offered can affect the final transaction. The RTX 5070 Ti price is included for launch context; it does not establish that the RTX 5070 Ti participates in Verified Priority Access.

Selected users are notified at the email address connected to the enrolled NVIDIA Account. Check your inbox, spam folder, promotions tab, and account security alerts.
An invitation may require account verification, email confirmation, or a one-time purchase process. It may also be limited by product, quantity, region, or time. The active invitation terms—not screenshots or older community posts—control.

A legitimate invitation should not require payment simply to enter the program. Do not buy an invitation from a reseller, enter NVIDIA credentials on an unfamiliar domain, or trust a social-media screenshot as proof of authenticity. If an email looks suspicious, navigate to NVIDIA independently.

Even a genuine invitation may not result in a completed order if the purchase window expires, inventory sells out, payment fails, the billing address does not match, shipping is restricted, account verification fails, or a purchase limit applies.
Alternatives if you are not selected
Verified Priority Access is most useful if you specifically want a Founders Edition card, want to stay close to NVIDIA’s reference price, are in the United States, and can tolerate uncertain timing. It is a weaker fit if you need a GPU immediately or are happy with a partner model.
- NVIDIA Marketplace: Monitor NVIDIA’s standard marketplace for regular listings and availability.
- Best Buy: Check Best Buy’s RTX listings. Product availability, purchase limits, membership requirements, and regional policies can change.
- Newegg: Use Newegg’s NVIDIA listings to compare partner cards, while checking seller identity, warranty, returns, and total price.
- Partner-board cards: ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, PNY, and Zotac offer different coolers, factory clocks, designs, and warranty policies. They may cost more than a Founders Edition and do not automatically qualify for NVIDIA’s program.
- Prebuilt systems: A prebuilt can be practical when standalone GPU stock is poor, but it is not a Verified Priority Access purchase and must be evaluated as a complete system.
- Stock alerts: Retailer notifications or browser alerts can help monitor inventory, but they cannot guarantee stock, checkout success, or MSRP pricing. Never give an alert service your NVIDIA login credentials.
Retailer memberships or stock-alert subscriptions cannot improve your odds of being selected for NVIDIA Verified Priority Access.
The bottom line
NVIDIA’s RTX 50-series Verified Priority Access program is genuine and can provide selected U.S. users with an opportunity to buy an eligible Founders Edition card at or near NVIDIA’s announced reference price. It was introduced in 2025, not newly established in 2026, and there is no evidence here of a fresh U.S. enrollment wave on a particular August date.
Enroll through NVIDIA’s official page if the current form allows it, but do not treat registration as a reservation. Continue watching NVIDIA Marketplace, Best Buy, Newegg, and authorized retailers—especially if you need a GPU quickly or are willing to buy a partner card.
