Yes—the nubia Z80 Ultra is available to US buyers through nubia’s Global Store. That is international online availability, not evidence of a conventional US carrier launch or broad US retail rollout. Nubia’s product page displays a price of $799, while an official collection page shows “from $649”; the exact configuration and checkout total need to be confirmed before ordering.
Is the nubia Z80 Ultra available in the US?
Nubia’s Global Store lists the United States among its shipping destinations, making the Z80 Ultra purchasable by US customers through the international store. The available information does not establish sales through US wireless carriers, Best Buy, or a dedicated US retail and repair network. Nubia began its global launch campaign on November 6, 2025, and listed December 3, 2025, as the open-sales date. The official product listing currently indicates stock and 3–5-day shipping, but delivery estimates and availability can change by destination and configuration. The original November–December 2025 campaign included a $30 discount and accessory offers; those were time-limited launch promotions, not current offers. Price and configurations: why official pages differ
Nubia’s product page displays the Z80 Ultra at $799, while an official collection page lists it “from $649.” The lower figure is not established as the price of every configuration, and the pages do not resolve which specific configuration or promotion accounts for the difference. Check the final cart rather than assuming the starting price applies to the model you want. Prices, stock, currency, taxes, and shipping terms may vary by storefront and destination.

Not every storage tier is necessarily offered in every color. Before paying, select the exact memory, storage, and color, enter a US address, and check the resulting total, tax treatment, delivery estimate, included charger, and warranty terms. Nubia says checkout shows applicable tax treatment; the final amount may differ from the product-page display.
For reference, nubia’s regional accessory listings show a Z80 Ultra US charger at $39.99 and a Retro Kit at $149, but those are regional store price signals, not guaranteed US checkout prices or proof of current US stock. What the Z80 Ultra offers
These are manufacturer specifications rather than independent measurements. Nubia’s detailed product listing and global launch announcement describe a large-screen flagship built around an unusual 35mm main camera, a high-capacity battery, and gaming features.

The product page lists a broad set of international radio bands, including 5G n41, n66, n71, n77, n78, n2, n5, and n12. It does not list n25 in the stated set. A band list alone cannot establish full US carrier compatibility; see the carrier section below.

Why the design may appeal—and what it trades away
An uninterrupted screen
The front camera sits beneath the display, avoiding a visible punch-hole. That can make video, gaming, and reading feel less interrupted. The trade-off is that the 16MP rating does not tell you how good selfies look: image quality from an under-display camera needs independent evaluation, especially if you take frequent portraits or video calls.
A large, heavy body
At approximately 227g with a 6.85-inch screen, the phone is substantial. Its size may suit immersive media and gaming, but it is a poor match for buyers who want one-handed use or a compact flagship.
A 35mm-centered camera system
Nubia positions the 35mm-equivalent main camera as a street and portrait camera, paired with an 18mm ultrawide and a telephoto camera. The ultrawide includes autofocus and a claimed macro focus distance of about 5.5cm. The focal lengths and stabilization are useful specifications, but they do not establish comparative photo quality.

Independent testing would be needed to judge dynamic range, night detail, skin tones, autofocus, stabilization, telephoto output at different zoom levels, and consistency of exposure or processing. Nubia’s camera positioning is described in its launch announcement and camera product page; those are manufacturer claims, not a substitute for comparative camera tests.

Flagship silicon and gaming features
The Snapdragon processor, LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.1 storage, stereo speakers, X-axis linear motor, and Game Space features point to a phone intended for demanding apps and games. Nubia also claims a cooling area more than 35% larger than the preceding design and gaming technology inspired by REDMAGIC. Neither claim proves sustained frame rates or comfortable temperatures. For those, look for independent 20–30-minute gaming tests covering frame-rate stability, heat, throttling, compatibility, and controller support.
Large battery and fast charging
A 7,200mAh typical-capacity battery is a notable specification, but capacity is not measured battery life: brightness, refresh rate, 5G, gaming, camera use, and software all affect endurance. Nubia says full 80W wired charging requires its official charger and cable. Confirm what the US-bound package includes and the charger requirements for the claimed 80W wireless speed; do not assume an arbitrary charger or wireless pad will deliver it.
Check US carrier compatibility before ordering
“Unlocked” or support for several US radio bands does not guarantee that a device will receive full service on a particular carrier. Compatibility also depends on the exact regional model, carrier certification and policies, and features such as VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling.

- Check support for the carrier’s LTE and 5G bands in the places you use the phone, not just the phone’s overall band list.
- Confirm VoLTE, Wi-Fi calling, emergency calling, and any carrier-specific voice or messaging features.
- Verify dual-SIM behavior and whether your carrier supports the intended SIM setup.
- Check that the product page describes the same regional model you will receive.
Do not rely on the manufacturer’s international band list as a promise of service quality, 5G coverage, or carrier approval in the United States.

Software, Google services, and updates
Nubia lists MyOS and promotes Google-related features such as Circle to Search, Gemini voice assistance, and AI editing in Google Photos. Their availability can depend on the shipped region, firmware, language, account, and service availability. The cited product materials do not establish a specific Android version or a long-term Android and security-update commitment.
Before choosing this as a long-term daily phone, verify the exact firmware and whether Google Play and Google Mobile Services are installed. If you depend on Android Auto, banking or DRM apps, eSIM, workplace management, reliable notifications, or a particular assistant, confirm those functions for the shipped model rather than inferring support from the global marketing page.
Warranty, returns, shipping, and water resistance
Nubia’s general Global Store FAQ lists a 12-month warranty for phones and six months for accessories. The 2025 launch campaign advertised a two-year warranty, but that was a time-limited promotion and differs from the general FAQ. Rely on the terms shown for your particular order, destination, and purchase date, and save the order and warranty pages.

International returns or repairs may involve cross-border shipping and may not offer the convenience of a US manufacturer service network. The Global Store shipping policy advertises free standard shipping above $50, but destination-specific availability and terms should be checked at checkout. The standard product listing says the box includes the phone, screen protector, case, USB-C-to-USB-C cable, SIM ejector, warranty card, and quick-start guide. Do not assume a charger is included: a charger bundle appeared in the 2025 launch promotion, while the standard listing emphasizes the items above.
Nubia describes IP68/IP69 resistance as tested under controlled laboratory conditions, says protection is not permanent, and excludes liquid damage from warranty coverage. Avoid charging the phone while wet; saltwater, chemicals, drops, aging seals, and repairs can compromise protection. The qualifications appear on nubia’s regional product information page.
Who should consider it?
It may suit
- Enthusiasts comfortable with an international purchase and willing to confirm carrier and warranty details.
- Buyers who prioritize a large display, high-capacity battery, and high-end processor over compact size.
- Photographers interested in a 35mm-equivalent main camera and a full-screen design, provided they wait for independent camera evaluation.
- Gamers who want flagship-class hardware in a phone that is not styled solely as a gaming device.
It is a riskier choice for
- People who need carrier financing, easy in-store replacement, or a clearly documented US repair network.
- Anyone who depends on VoLTE, Wi-Fi calling, Android Auto, eSIM, or work-device features without first confirming support.
- Buyers who prioritize selfie quality, a compact handset, or a clearly stated long-term update policy.
- People unwilling to manage possible cross-border returns or service.
If you want a lower-cost nubia alternative, the official comparison page lists the Z70 Ultra from approximately $749, but the exact price and configuration need confirmation; it is an older-generation platform with a smaller advertised battery than the Z80 Ultra.
