New Holland FieldOps is a web and mobile platform that brings supported machine, fleet, field, and agronomic data into one place. It can reduce the need to switch between portals, share job information, and monitor connected equipment, including some mixed-brand fleets. Its usefulness depends on compatible equipment and connectivity, however; it is not a universal machine-control system or a guaranteed replacement for a farm-management information system (FMIS).
What New Holland FieldOps does
FieldOps is a farm-data and fleet-management platform within New Holland’s Precision Technology and Connectivity offering. Farmers can use it in a browser or through the mobile app to review supported information about machines, fields, jobs, and agronomic activity. New Holland introduced it publicly in 2024, and existing MyPLM Connect users were told their data would be available when they moved to FieldOps. Availability and migration details can vary by region; check the FieldOps portal or ask a local dealer if you are moving an existing account.
The practical problem it targets is fragmented information: a manager may otherwise need one system for machine location, another for field records, and separate processes to send files to operators. FieldOps aims to consolidate supported data and make it easier for farm staff, advisers, and dealers to work from a shared view. That is a product goal, not a guarantee that every data source or task will be unified.
Fleet monitoring and machine health
Depending on the machine and its configuration, FieldOps can show location, fuel information, job progress, performance, activity or health details, maintenance alerts, and up to 24-hour history. Managers can use these views to check where equipment is and how work is progressing without calling each operator. Telemetry timing and detail depend on the machine, modem, connected-service status, cellular coverage, and brand; “real-time” should not be read as uninterrupted or identical reporting for every vehicle.

Agronomic and field information
Supported data can include coverage, yield, and moisture maps, prescriptions, bale and harvest information, field boundaries, and seasonal or historical comparisons. Farms can use those records to review work and share data with trusted partners. Map availability is not universal: crop, machine, implement, region, and data configuration all matter.
Remote display viewing
FieldOps offers remote viewing of an in-cab display, including zooming and panning, to help a manager or support person see what an operator sees and troubleshoot guidance or setup questions. New Holland’s North American product page marks this feature as limited to IntelliView 12. Viewing a display is not the same as remotely driving or controlling a tractor or implement.
File transfer and workflow configuration
Users can manage field boundaries, choose or rearrange machine metrics, and transfer supported files to equipment. Wireless transfer depends on machine capability and connectivity. USB remains a useful fallback for older or unsupported configurations. For any prescription or setup file, confirm the destination machine and field, then have the operator verify that the file arrived and is interpreted correctly before work begins.

Integrations
At FieldOps’ 2024 launch, New Holland said it had more than 40 API connections globally and described options to import data into FieldOps or export data to another platform. That launch figure is not a promise that every integration is available in every country or that every kind of data is accessible. The CNH Developer Portal documents FieldOps API access and identifies a notable limit: agronomic data from a linked account is not available through the FieldOps API. Farms planning custom dashboards or automated pipelines should confirm data scope and permissions first.
How mixed-fleet support works—and where it stops
New Holland says FieldOps works with all connected New Holland machines and most major third-party equipment brands. A mixed-fleet view can be valuable, but compatibility does not mean feature parity. A non-New Holland machine may expose basic location or telematics information without offering the same maps, alerts, remote viewing, or file-transfer functions as a supported New Holland machine.
New Holland’s North American materials cite PCM, PCMf, CM100, and CM110 modem examples for compatible equipment. Separate product information describes PCM/PCMf applications across selected T9, T8, T7 Long Wheelbase, CR/CX, FR Forage Cruiser, self-propelled windrower, and Guardian Sprayer equipment, and CM1X use for basic telematics and third-party vehicles. These examples are not a universal fit list. Eligibility depends on market, model, installed hardware, display, software, and service configuration. Check the specific machine’s serial number and configuration with a dealer before buying or promising a workflow.

A FieldOps account alone cannot generate telemetry from a machine without the appropriate modem, wiring, software, activation, and network access. If a machine does not appear, establish whether its data is not being collected, not being transmitted, or not being displayed in the account—those are different problems and require different fixes.

These are related but distinct: FieldOps is the software platform, while Connectivity Included concerns connectivity on eligible machines. Neither description means every machine is free to connect or that all hardware, installation, dealer, or network costs disappear. What it costs
The U.S. Apple App Store listing identifies FieldOps as free to download. That does not establish that a complete connected setup is free. A modem, installation, activation, eligible connected-service package, dealer support, or cellular service may have separate requirements or costs. New Holland says qualifying Connectivity Included machines do not have recurring subscription fees; existing machines with capable modems may be eligible for a one-time purchase. The company directs customers to dealers for details, and public pricing is not specified in the cited materials.

How to get started
- Check your market and machine. Confirm model, serial number, modem, display, and connected-service eligibility with a local New Holland dealer or regional support page.
- Access FieldOps. Create or access an account through the web portal. If migrating from MyPLM Connect, verify account and data status for your region.
- Install the app if useful. New Holland announced iOS and Android availability. Check the relevant regional app store; store availability and listings can differ by country.
- Add or link machines. Confirm each machine has compatible hardware and an active, correctly associated connected-service configuration.
- Invite the people who need access. Include managers, operators, advisers, or dealer contacts only as appropriate, and use the platform’s available account controls rather than sharing credentials.
- Validate telemetry. Check that the expected location, activity, fuel, job, and health information appears. Do not assume every machine supplies every metric.
- Review fields and data. Check boundaries, historical records, map layers, and any linked accounts before relying on them operationally.
- Set up useful views. Select the machine parameters and alerts that help your operation rather than tracking metrics no one will act on.
- Test file transfer safely. Send a noncritical file first, verify receipt and compatibility on the machine, and retain the original.
- Keep a fallback. Maintain USB transfer, local display checks, paper records, or your existing FMIS workflow for outages or unsupported equipment.
Common issues and practical recovery
A machine does not appear
Possible causes include an incompatible or unactivated modem, a machine not associated with the right account, an unsupported model or market, weak cellular coverage, a power issue, or an authorization or migration problem. Check the machine’s serial number and account association, then confirm modem and service status. If possible, check again in a coverage area. Follow the machine manual for any restart procedure, and contact a dealer if activation or hardware status is uncertain.
Data is late or incomplete
First distinguish whether the machine is not collecting a data point, not transmitting it, or FieldOps is not displaying it. Weak signal, a machine that is off, delayed synchronization, differences between brands, unsupported implements or displays, and account permissions can all affect what appears. Compare the expected data with that machine’s documented capability before treating a missing value as a system fault.
A prescription or setup file does not arrive
Confirm the destination machine and field, check that the format is supported, and make sure the machine is connected. Use USB if wireless transfer is unavailable. Have the operator verify the file on the display before acting on it, and keep a copy of the source file and a record of the transfer.

An API integration fails
Check whether you are using the production or staging environment, the correct New Holland brand portal, valid user authorization, and the required API permissions. Confirm that the desired data category is actually exposed. In particular, the developer documentation says agronomic data from linked accounts is unavailable through the FieldOps API.
Is FieldOps worth using?
- New Holland-heavy fleet: It is worth evaluating if machines are connected and you want one place to review location, activity, alerts, and supported field records.
- Mixed fleet: It may consolidate some visibility, but test the exact models and data fields. Do not assume third-party machines have full feature parity.
- Several operators or dispersed fields: Shared machine and job visibility may reduce check-in calls and help coordinate work, provided connectivity is dependable.
- Small or older-equipment operation: The platform may add little if most machines lack compatible telematics or the farm is comfortable with local displays and USB transfers.
- Farm with an established FMIS: Treat FieldOps as a possible machine-and-field data complement. Keep the FMIS if it handles crop planning, accounting, compliance, inventory, labor, or reporting that FieldOps does not cover for your needs.
- Need for remote control or complete custom data access: FieldOps’ remote display view is not machine control, and the API has documented data-scope limits. Confirm the workflow before committing.
FieldOps is best considered a machine-and-field visibility hub, not an all-purpose farm-business system. Compare it with your existing FMIS, other OEM telematics portals, dealer-connected service programs, or a manual USB process according to the job you need done. There is not enough verified information here to rank named competing products or compare their current prices.
Feature lists, machine eligibility, app availability, connectivity programs, and dealer offerings can vary by country and change over time. The New Holland pages cited above are North American; readers elsewhere should use their regional New Holland site and local dealer rather than assume U.S. terms apply.
