The Micromax X507 is a basic dual-SIM feature phone, not an Android smartphone. Its commonly reported features include an approximately 1.8-inch color display, a removable 1,000 mAh battery, FM radio, Bluetooth and microSD storage. The key limitation in 2026 is its 2G-only network support: check that compatible 2G GSM service is still available from your carrier before considering one.

Specifications come from secondary product databases, which do not agree on every detail. The display is variously rounded to 1.77 or 1.8 inches; 128 × 160 and 160 × 128 refer to the same pixel count with the orientation reversed. What kind of phone is the Micromax X507?
The X507 is a conventional keypad-era feature phone for calls, text messages and simple media use. It is described as dual-SIM, but that does not mean it supports two modern data connections: both SIMs depend on compatible 2G service, and some listings describe alternating rather than simultaneous active use. The model is dated to either 2017 or 2018 in different databases, so “listed around 2017–2018” is more accurate than assigning it a single confirmed launch date. Cnews and other databases differ on the date.

The small TFT color display measures about 1.8 inches diagonally and has a resolution of 128 × 160 pixels. That is adequate for menus, contacts and basic messages, but it is not suited to comfortable web browsing, modern apps, streaming or viewing detailed photographs. The phone has a classic bar form and physical keypad. One database lists dimensions of 111.1 × 47.5 × 14 mm and a weight of 97 g; treat those as reported figures rather than a confirmed specification for every regional unit.

Camera and multimedia
Listings disagree on whether the rear camera is 0.1 MP or 0.3 MP. Both describe a very basic camera with an LED flash; no front camera is listed. It may be enough for an occasional low-detail snapshot, but it should not be considered a useful photography feature by modern standards.
The more practical media features are FM radio, MP3 playback, a loudspeaker and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Video playback is also listed, with secondary sources naming formats such as 3GP, AVI and MP4. Bluetooth is reported, although its version is disputed: one record gives 2.1 and another 4.1. Do not rely on a specific Bluetooth version or assume compatibility with every modern accessory.

Battery and charging
The X507 is commonly listed with a removable 1,000 mAh lithium-ion battery, and micro-USB charging is reported. One database gives approximately 3.2 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours of standby, but these are stated figures, not independent test results. Actual runtime depends on signal strength, use of both SIM slots, battery condition and other factors.
For a used phone or old stock, battery age matters more than the original capacity figure. A handset that powers on may still have a degraded battery. Confirm that a battery and compatible charger are included, and check that the replacement battery is suitable and in good condition.

Network compatibility: the crucial limitation
The X507 is listed as a 2G GSM phone only. It has no listed 3G, 4G LTE or 5G support, and it cannot be upgraded to those network generations through a software update. It may also lack Wi-Fi, GPS and NFC, according to the available specification listings.
That makes local network support decisive. If your carrier has retired 2G, the X507 will not be a practical phone for that network. Where 2G remains, service still depends on compatible bands and the carrier’s voice and SIM requirements. GSM bands themselves are inconsistently listed: some records specify 900/1800 MHz, while another gives 850/900/1800/1900 MHz. An unlocked handset is not automatically compatible. In the United States, in particular, do not assume an imported X507 will work simply because it accepts your SIM.

Before buying, ask the seller for the exact handset variant and verify its bands and IMEI status with your carrier. If compatible 2G service is unavailable locally, the practical answer is a newer 4G feature phone, not a firmware change.

- SIM size: listings variously say standard SIM and Micro-SIM. Inspect the unit or its manual rather than relying on a generic product page.
- microSD limit: several sources say up to 8 GB, while others claim up to 32 GB. Treat 8 GB as the conservative limit unless the specific handset’s manual or a reliable seller confirms otherwise. If a card is not recognized, try a known-good smaller card.
- Internal memory and processor: secondary records list 32 MB of internal memory and a single-core 208 MHz processor, but these details lack strong confirmation. The phone’s storage is limited in any case.
- Bluetooth version: reported as either 2.1 or 4.1; the available records do not settle the discrepancy.
- Launch timing: database dates fall in February 2017 or February 2018, so the exact launch date is uncertain.
These differences can reflect regional variants, rounding or database errors. The available evidence does not establish which explanation applies, so verify the actual handset when a detail matters.

Software and everyday functions
The X507 is not an Android phone, and the available records do not establish a reliable operating-system name or version. It is intended for basic calling, SMS, contacts, FM radio, music and limited camera use. Bluetooth and basic GPRS access are listed, though mobile data depends on network availability. Do not expect Google Play, modern app support, WhatsApp, mobile banking apps, 4G VoLTE or smartphone-style navigation.
Price and availability
Current availability appears poor. Smartprix marks the phone out of stock and shows a historical price of ₹840; Pricekart describes it as unavailable and reports a last-available price of ₹1,190, updated February 10, 2026. These are historical or last-known prices, not dependable current offers. See the Smartprix listing and Pricekart listing for their respective status and price records. A listing you find today may be used, old stock or even a mismatched generic product page.
Should you buy a Micromax X507?
It may suit someone who needs a simple keypad phone for calls and SMS, already has compatible 2G service, and can verify the handset’s condition. FM radio, a headphone jack, dual-SIM capability and a removable battery are useful basics. It might also make sense as a replacement for an identical X507.

It is a poor choice if you need mobile apps, dependable modern-network compatibility, Wi-Fi, GPS, a capable camera or long-term support. Before buying a used unit, confirm the carrier’s 2G service and the phone’s bands, SIM format and IMEI status; check battery condition, charger, return terms and the actual microSD limit. If you need a phone that will work on contemporary networks, look for a current 4G feature phone instead.
