Já o dress code da noite foi The Garden of Time (“O jardim do tempo”), inspirado no conto homônimo de J. G. Ballard, publicado em 1962. O nome da exposição e o código de vestimenta são conceitos relacionados, mas não são a mesma coisa.

Foi uma alternativa televisiva divulgada para aquela noite, além do livestream digital oficial da Vogue. Não há confirmação aqui de que esse especial esteja disponível para assistir atualmente.
O que o replay mostra — e o que não mostra
Assistir ao Met Gala pela transmissão pública significa acompanhar principalmente o tapete vermelho: a chegada de convidados, entrevistas e comentários de moda. A festa é um jantar beneficente fechado, associado ao Costume Institute do Metropolitan Museum of Art. O replay não dá acesso irrestrito ao jantar nem a todos os acontecimentos internos.
