Malwarebytes currently identifies aylink.co as a blocked domain associated with phishing. According to Malwarebytes, websites under the domain may redirect visitors to pages promoting potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) or to phishing-related sites. Do not revisit the domain, download anything it offers, or disable Malwarebytes protection to continue.
A warning by itself does not prove that your device is infected. The correct response depends on what happened after the connection was attempted.
What is aylink.co?
aylink.co is the domain named in a Malwarebytes Threat Center detection. Malwarebytes does not identify a business, legitimate service, operator, specific malware family, IP address, or complete redirect chain for the domain on its detection page. The useful conclusion is therefore limited but important: Malwarebytes currently considers the domain unsafe.

Why does Malwarebytes block it?
Malwarebytes says the domain is associated with phishing and that websites in the domain can redirect visitors to destinations promoting PUPs and to sites involved in phishing.
Phishing is a deceptive attempt to persuade someone to disclose information, install software, or take an action that benefits an attacker. The connection may come from a direct link, a malicious advertisement, a pop-up, a shortened or disguised URL, a compromised website, or another redirect. Seeing aylink.co in the alert does not necessarily mean you typed the address yourself.
A potentially unwanted program is software that may be deceptive or unwanted without fitting the usual definition of a virus. Examples include aggressive adware, browser hijackers, fake system cleaners, unwanted extensions, and installers bundled with additional software. Malwarebytes’ page does not name a particular PUP family.

Does the alert mean your device is infected?
No—not by itself. A blocked web request generally means Malwarebytes prevented or interrupted a connection. It does not establish that a malicious file executed or that your data was stolen.

What to do immediately
- Do not revisit
aylink.co. Do not bypass the warning or click prompts such as “Allow,” “Continue,” or “Remove protection.” - Close the suspicious browser tab or window. Do not interact with pop-ups.
- Review your recent downloads and delete files you did not intentionally obtain. Never open a suspicious download to identify it.
- Run a Malwarebytes scan and quarantine detected items. Malwarebytes also provides a free virus-scanner option; a scan is useful for checking the device, but cannot undo exposed credentials or fraudulent payments.
- Run your operating system’s built-in security scan as a second check.
- Review recently installed browser extensions and remove anything unfamiliar.
- Check browser notification permissions and revoke access for suspicious websites.
- Check browser startup pages, recently installed programs, and startup applications if redirects or alerts continue.
If you clicked the link or were redirected
If you only opened the page
Close it, avoid all prompts, inspect downloads and extensions, and scan the device if anything unusual occurred. A redirect can originate from an advertisement or compromised page, so note the website or application that led you there.
If you downloaded a file
Do not run it. Delete or quarantine it and perform a full scan. If it was opened, disconnect the device from the network if it is generating repeated alerts, showing unusual behavior, or attempting further connections. Use a separate clean device for sensitive account changes when possible.

If you entered a username or password
Change the password immediately from a trusted device. Change it anywhere else you reused it, enable multifactor authentication, and review the account’s recovery email, phone number, active sessions, and forwarding rules. Be alert for follow-up messages that use this incident as a pretext.

Contact your bank, card issuer, or relevant service provider promptly. Monitor transactions, consider replacing the card, and follow the provider’s advice about fraud alerts or account protection.
If you installed remote-access software
This is a higher-severity situation. Disconnect the affected device from the network, change passwords from a separate clean device, and seek professional incident-response help if you cannot confidently remove the unauthorized tool or determine what it accessed.

What if Malwarebytes alerts keep appearing?
Recurring alerts can point to more than a single blocked page. Possible causes include a suspicious browser notification permission, an unwanted extension, adware, a compromised browser profile, a recently installed application, or a scheduled task repeatedly generating redirects.
Check the following:
- Detection History: look for the URL, detection name, and originating process.
- Extensions: remove extensions you do not recognize or no longer need.
- Notifications: revoke permissions granted to unfamiliar sites.
- Startup behavior: inspect browser startup pages, startup applications, and recently installed programs.
- Scheduled tasks: investigate them only if you are comfortable doing so, or ask a qualified technician.
- Source application or page: identify which site, advertisement, document, or program repeatedly initiates the connection.
Should you add aylink.co to Malwarebytes’ Allow List?
No—not merely to test the site. Malwarebytes documents this Windows path for website exclusions:
- Open Malwarebytes for Windows.
- Select Detection History.
- Select Allow List.
- Click Add.
- Select Allow a website, then Add a URL.
- Enter the domain and select Done.
Labels can vary by edition, Windows version, language, or future updates. This path explains where the control is; it is not a recommendation to allow aylink.co. Leave the block active unless Malwarebytes or a qualified security professional confirms a false positive.

How to handle a possible false positive
Different security products use different databases, heuristics, telemetry, and blocklists. If another scanner reports nothing, that does not automatically disprove Malwarebytes’ warning. Do not visit the domain to experiment.
For a legitimate review, preserve:
- the complete URL, including its path and subdomain;
- the date and time of the detection;
- a screenshot of the alert;
- the Malwarebytes detection name;
- your browser and operating-system versions;
- whether the alert occurred on one device or several; and
- the known legitimate page or application that led to the connection.
Submit the information through Malwarebytes’ official support and false-positive reporting route rather than adding the domain to an allow list as a test.
Optional tools that may help
Malwarebytes Browser Guard is a free browser extension intended to block malicious websites, phishing attempts, ads, trackers, and related browser threats. It can be useful for browser-based protection, but it is not a substitute for device-wide scanning, operating-system updates, account recovery, or professional incident response.

Malwarebytes also offers a free on-demand scanner and paid Premium protection. Premium may suit someone seeking ongoing, proactive protection, but a single blocked domain does not make a paid subscription necessary. Avoid running multiple products with overlapping real-time protection unless their vendors support that setup.
What Malwarebytes’ alert does—and does not—establish
The first-party record establishes that Malwarebytes has a detection page for aylink.co, associates the domain with phishing, reports redirects to PUP-promoting and phishing-related destinations, and blocks the domain. It does not identify the operator, prove a specific payload, show that every page is malicious, or prove that your device is infected.
The safest current decision is straightforward: keep the block enabled, investigate any download or browser change, and secure any credentials or financial information you may have submitted.
