Short answer: Limestone Networks appears to be a legitimate infrastructure provider and is worth considering if you need dedicated servers, bare metal, colocation, or hands-on infrastructure support. Its public customer sentiment is generally positive, but the evidence is limited: Trustpilot shows 63 reviews, a 3.9/5 TrustScore, and only two reviews in the captured previous-12-month period. Limestone is better suited to experienced server operators than beginners seeking managed website hosting.
The most important qualification is that Limestone’s 99.9% SLA covers monthly network uptime under stated terms—not guaranteed availability for your operating system, database, website, application, or backups.
What Limestone Networks offers
Limestone Networks is primarily an infrastructure provider rather than a consumer shared-hosting company. Its product range includes cloud instances, bare metal, dedicated servers, private cloud, colocation, and infrastructure management tools.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors- Bare Metal Cloud: Non-virtualized, single-tenant physical servers with cloud-style provisioning, hourly billing, API access, floating IP support, and listed DDoS protection.
- Cloud instances: Virtual servers for customers who do not need dedicated physical hardware.
- Dedicated servers: Leased physical machines with configurations and commercial terms that may differ from Bare Metal Cloud.
- Colocation: Datacenter space, power, bandwidth, and remote hands for hardware supplied by the customer.
- Private cloud: Custom infrastructure for isolated cloud environments.
These products should not be treated as interchangeable. A colocated customer, a Bare Metal Cloud customer, and a cloud-instance customer can have different pricing, support responsibilities, failure modes, and billing arrangements.
#1 Best Overall
Are Limestone Networks reviews positive?
The independent review evidence is directionally positive but statistically weak. The captured Trustpilot listing shows 63 total reviews, a 3.9/5 TrustScore, 84% five-star reviews, 9% one-star reviews, and only two reviews in the previous 12 months at the time captured.
Positive reviews commonly mention responsive technicians, remote-hands assistance, hardware incident support, stable service, and long customer relationships. A February 2026 review describes help with a colocated server outage, while a December 2024 review claims more than two decades as a customer. These are useful individual experiences, but they are not independently audited uptime or performance measurements.
The sample also contains negative and noisy evidence. At least one captured one-star complaint appears unrelated to server hosting, involving music distribution and checkout. Older Web Hosting Talk discussions include historical praise for support and downtime, alongside complaints involving malware and managed-service expectations. Those posts date from 2011 or earlier and should not be used as proof of current performance.
Overall, the reviews support cautious optimism about support and reliability, not a definitive claim that Limestone delivers excellent uptime for every product. The review count is modest, most reviews are old, product types are mixed, and review-platform scores measure reported sentiment rather than verified availability.
Reliability and the 99.9% SLA
Limestone’s published SLA guarantees 99.9% monthly network uptime under its terms. It applies to global Internet connectivity, private-network connectivity, power, and client-control-panel accessibility.
Mathematically, 99.9% permits approximately 43 minutes 12 seconds of downtime in a 30-day month, 43 minutes 49 seconds in an average 30.4167-day month, or 44 minutes 38 seconds in a 31-day month. That calculation does not mean every outage automatically qualifies for compensation.
How SLA credits work
| Monthly uptime | Account credit |
|---|---|
| 99.8% | 10% |
| 99.7% | 20% |
| 99.6% | 30% |
| 99.5% | 40% |
| 99.4% | 50% |
| 99.3% | 60% |
| 99.2% | 70% |
| 99.1% | 80% |
| 99.0% | 90% |
| Below 99.0% | 100% |
These are credits applied to future billing, not cash refunds. Claims must be submitted within seven days of the downtime, and the terms say credits can take up to 15 days to authorize, process, and post. Credits cannot exceed the server’s full monthly charge or be stacked for overlapping incidents.

The SLA excludes or limits events including software failures, operating-system reloads, software management, software-related hardware reconfiguration, scheduled maintenance, carrier outages outside Limestone’s network, force majeure events, AUP or Terms-of-Service disconnections, accounts not in good payment standing, and certain hardware-repair periods before diagnosis.
Rank #3
For faulty hardware, the published terms state that the hardware SLA becomes active only after a Limestone technician officially diagnoses the fault and four hours have passed. Hardware upgrades receive similar treatment after the scheduled repair time is exceeded by four hours.
In practical terms, this is a network, power, private-connectivity, and control-panel credit mechanism. It is not an end-to-end guarantee that your application remains available. A crashed database, full disk, operating-system problem, bad firewall rule, failed deployment, or unsupported application outage may be your responsibility even if the server is unreachable to customers.
Support and remote hands
Limestone advertises 24/7/365 onsite support for Bare Metal Cloud and describes remote-hands and datacenter support on its datacenter page. That is potentially valuable for physical infrastructure customers, especially those who cannot visit the facility themselves.

Limestone’s Terms of Service state that enhanced support may have separate pricing and that LimeAid support time does not count toward the SLA. Treat “24/7 support” as access to infrastructure assistance, not proof that routine server administration is included.
Limestone Networks pricing
The official Bare Metal Cloud pricing page lists examples ranging from older Xeon systems to newer Ryzen and EPYC configurations:
| Example configuration | Hourly rate | Approximate monthly equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| Xeon E5-2650 v4, 64 GB RAM, 2 × 10 TB HDD | $0.31 | $226 |
| Ryzen 7950X, 128 GB RAM, 2 × 960 GB NVMe | $0.376 | $274 |
| Ryzen 7950X, 128 GB RAM, 2 × 3.84 TB NVMe | $0.48 | $350 |
| EPYC 7502, 256 GB RAM, 2 × 3.84 TB NVMe | $0.75 | $548 |
| EPYC 9354, 768 GB RAM | $3.97 | $2,898 |
| EPYC 9474F, 768 GB RAM | $4.52 | $3,300 |
The page advertises a monthly billing cap based on 635 hours of sustained use, so the displayed monthly figures are not simply a 730-hour multiplication. Confirm that the cap applies to the exact server, region, and billing arrangement you intend to use. Do not assume it applies to custom reserved hardware or colocation.

The headline rate may not include everything required to run a production service. Check the cost of IP addresses, operating-system or control-panel licenses, backups, management, migration assistance, extra storage, remote hands, taxes, and any contract or prepayment requirements. Older Xeon hardware with large HDDs should not be compared directly with newer Ryzen or EPYC systems using NVMe storage.

Colocation pricing
Limestone’s colocation page lists a half rack at $850 per month and a full rack at $1,700 per month. It also lists 25 Mbps at 95th percentile, 1 Gbps port speed, $300 per hour for remote hands, and setup fees of $1,500 for a half rack or $3,000 for a full rack. Hardware is not included.
Colocation can be attractive if you already own suitable equipment, but the total cost also includes purchasing, shipping, insuring, maintaining, replacing, and eventually disposing of that hardware. A low rack fee is not directly comparable with the monthly price of a leased server.

Who should use Limestone Networks?
Good fit: Technically capable businesses, agencies, infrastructure teams, game-server operators, and developers that need dedicated CPU, RAM, storage, network capacity, colocation, remote hands, or API-driven provisioning. It can also suit temporary physical deployments where hourly bare-metal billing is useful.

High-compliance organizations should also request written details about data location, access controls, logging, backups, incident response, and contractual responsibilities rather than assuming that datacenter security satisfies their compliance requirements.
Limestone Networks compared with alternatives
| Provider | Usually better when you need | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| OVHcloud | A broad, publicly priced dedicated-server catalog and lower entry pricing | Advertised SLA tiers, support, availability, bandwidth, and configuration flexibility differ by product |
| Hetzner | Very low-cost cloud or dedicated-resource options | Not a direct replacement for Limestone’s colocation and onsite remote-hands model |
| DigitalOcean | A developer-friendly virtual cloud and related managed services | Virtual Droplets are not equivalent to dedicated physical hardware |
| AWS Lightsail | Simple VPS-style hosting with predictable billing and AWS integration | Not a substitute for dedicated servers, colocation, or physical remote hands |
OVHcloud’s U.S. dedicated-server page lists publicly displayed ranges beginning at $79 per month for Game Dedicated and $98 per month for Advance Dedicated, while higher ranges cost substantially more. Hetzner publishes much lower cloud entry prices, including examples around €3.49 per month for shared cost-optimized resources and €12.49 per month for dedicated general-purpose cloud resources. These figures are not like-for-like comparisons: hardware, storage, geography, support, bandwidth, IP addresses, and management differ.
Questions to ask before ordering
- Is the server managed or unmanaged?
- What hardware replacement and remote-hands work is included?
- What are the target response and resolution times for hardware failures?
- Are replacement parts stocked locally?
- What exactly does the DDoS protection cover, and are there traffic or attack-type limits?
- Are IPv4 addresses billed separately?
- Is bandwidth metered, capped, or subject to an acceptable-use policy?
- Are backups offered, and who operates and tests them?
- Are operating-system, Windows, cPanel, or virtualization licenses extra?
- Can you specify CPU, RAID, disk layout, GPU, and network configuration?
- What happens to hourly billing during a hardware failure?
- What are the cancellation, refund, data-destruction, and account-closure procedures?
Security responsibilities
Dedicated hardware does not automatically secure a workload. You still need strong credentials, restricted management ports, timely operating-system updates, firewall rules, vulnerability monitoring, tested backups, access logging, and an incident-response plan. Included DDoS protection is useful, but the published pricing page alone does not establish its capacity, mitigation architecture, attack-type coverage, or exceptions. Get those details in writing for a production deployment.
