Verdict: The LG V30 is a discontinued 2017 flagship. In Pakistan, it is now mainly available as a used or refurbished import, not as dependable official-new stock. Observed used asking prices were approximately Rs. 10,000–24,500, while a refurbished 4GB/64GB listing showed about Rs. 19,999. These are market signals rather than guaranteed sale prices; PTA approval, model, display condition, battery health and repair history can change the value substantially.
The V30 remains interesting for buyers who want a high-resolution OLED display, headphone jack, microSD expansion, wireless charging and a capable ultrawide camera at a low price. It is a poor choice for anyone expecting modern Android support, 5G, a fresh battery or manufacturer warranty.
LG V30 price in Pakistan
The most realistic way to price an LG V30 in Pakistan is by market type rather than quoting one exact figure.

The OLX Pakistan used LG V30 listings page showed examples from roughly Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 24,500, including both PTA-approved and non-PTA phones. A PhoneBolee refurbished listing showed Rs. 19,999 for a 4GB/64GB phone. These listings can change quickly and do not represent confirmed completed transactions.

Some Pakistani portals display figures near Rs. 74,000. Pages on Spec.PK, ProPakistani and WhatMobile should therefore be treated as old estimates or legacy database values unless they are tied to a current seller with verifiable stock. They should not be presented as the phone’s current official retail price.

How much should you pay?
- Rs. 10,000–14,000: Consider only after a thorough test. At this level, expect possible cosmetic wear, weak battery health or repair history.
- Rs. 15,000–20,000: A more plausible range for a working used unit, depending on PTA status, model and condition.
- Rs. 20,000–24,500: Justifiable only for a clean, PTA-approved phone with a healthy display, usable battery and trustworthy history.
- Above Rs. 25,000: Difficult to justify unless the phone is unusually clean, boxed, approved and covered by a credible return warranty.
These bands are inferred from observed asking prices, not a formal market index. A non-PTA carrier variant and a fully tested PTA-approved phone should not be valued the same way.
Is the LG V30 officially available in Pakistan?
No dependable current official-new availability is established. The TechJuice product record marks the LG V30 as Discontinued. A phone can still be available through a private seller or refurbisher without being current official stock.

- Official warranty: Must be supported by written seller or manufacturer documentation. Do not infer it from the word “official” in an advertisement.
LG V30 specifications
The standard V30 specification record lists 4GB RAM with 64GB or 128GB storage. Listings that claim different memory or display figures may refer to a V30+, a regional model, another LG phone or inaccurate reseller data.

LTE bands, SIM arrangements and carrier features vary by model number. The specification table should be read as a family overview, not a guarantee that every imported V30 has identical hardware.

LG V30 review: what remains good
Display
The 6-inch P-OLED panel is still one of the V30’s strongest features. Its 1440 × 2880 resolution, HDR10 and Dolby Vision support can make video and photographs look detailed and high-contrast. On a used phone, however, panel condition matters more than the original specification. Check for burn-in, tinting, dead pixels, edge damage and inconsistent touch response.
Cameras
The 16MP main camera has a bright f/1.6 aperture and optical stabilisation, while the 13MP ultrawide camera gives the phone useful framing flexibility. The hardware remains appealing for daylight photography, video and wide-angle shots. Do not assume it matches a current mid-range phone in image processing, night photography, autofocus reliability or camera-app support.
Audio
For wired headphone users, the V30 is unusually attractive. It retains a 3.5mm jack and lists 32-bit/192kHz audio support, alongside B&O Play certification. Buyers who mainly use Bluetooth earbuds may find this advantage less important, but wired-audio enthusiasts still have a reason to consider the phone.
Daily performance and gaming
The Snapdragon 835 can still handle ordinary messaging, web browsing, media playback and light multitasking when the phone has a healthy battery and functioning software. It is nevertheless an old platform. Sustained gaming, demanding modern applications and long-term performance should not be compared with current mid-range chipsets without testing the exact handset.
Battery
The original 3,300mAh battery is non-removable and every V30 is now many years old. Battery life depends heavily on whether it has been replaced and on the quality of that replacement. Unexpected shutdowns, rapid percentage drops, excessive heat and slow charging are reasons to walk away or negotiate a much lower price.
Software
The phone launched with Android 7.1.2 Nougat, with Android 9 Pie listed as its upgrade path. That is old software by 2026 standards. Current app compatibility, banking applications, security-patch status and DRM behaviour can vary by firmware and region, so test the exact phone rather than assuming every V30 behaves identically. Do not buy it expecting current Android updates or modern security support.
Build and connectivity
The glass-and-aluminium body is light for a 6-inch phone, and the original design included IP68 protection, wireless charging and microSD expansion. Those features are useful, but age and repair history change the risk. A phone opened for a screen, back-glass or battery repair may no longer retain its original water resistance.
LG V30 versus LG V30+
The V30+ should not be silently merged with the standard V30. The TechJuice LG V30 Plus reference page maintains it as a separate model. The main buyer-relevant distinction is generally the larger internal-storage configuration, while many core components remain similar.
Before comparing prices, identify the exact label: LG V30 64GB, LG V30 128GB, LG V30+, V30 ThinQ or a regional/carrier model. Do not accept a listing’s RAM or storage claim without checking the phone itself. Some Pakistani advertisements claim 6GB RAM or a 6.2-inch display, but those claims conflict with the more consistent standard V30 record and may reflect a mixed-up model or inaccurate listing.
Model numbers and PTA considerations
Common V30 family model numbers include H930, H931, H932, H933, VS996, US998, LS998U, LGM-V300L, LGM-V300K, LGM-V300S, L-01K and H930DS. They are not interchangeable. Network bands, carrier firmware, SIM support, storage, VoLTE behaviour and bootloader restrictions can differ.

Ask the seller to show the model number at Settings → About phone. Also establish whether the handset is single-SIM, dual-SIM or carrier-specific. A US or Korean variant may work for basic LTE yet still have limitations with Pakistani network bands, VoLTE, hotspot or firmware updates.
PTA status must be checked for the individual IMEI. Confirm that the phone recognises both IMEIs where applicable, accepts your Pakistani SIM and supports calls, SMS and mobile data. Verify the claimed approval through the applicable official channels before payment. Do not rely on a seller’s label or on a model name. PTA registration costs can vary according to registration basis, device valuation, passport/CNIC route and current policy, so an unverified single tax figure should not be used.

1. Verify the identity
- Open Settings → About phone and record the exact model number.
- Check RAM, storage, Android version and security-patch date.
- Compare the IMEI shown by the phone with the box and purchase documentation where available.
- Confirm whether the listing is for a V30, V30+, V30 ThinQ or another LG model.
2. Inspect the screen and body
- Display a white, grey and black image to reveal burn-in, tinting and dead pixels.
- Test touch response across the curved edges and keyboard.
- Look for cracks around the display, lifted glass, frame bends and back-glass replacement.
- Check the camera glass, autofocus, fingerprint sensor, speakers and microphones.
3. Test ports, radios and accessories
- Connect a USB-C cable and check for a loose port or intermittent charging.
- Test the 3.5mm headphone jack for noise and dropouts.
- Test Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and wireless charging.
- Insert your own SIM and test calls, SMS, 4G data, hotspot and VoLTE if you need it.
- Check the SIM tray and microSD slot.
4. Evaluate the battery
- Ask whether the battery has been replaced and what part was used.
- Observe charging speed, heat during charging, camera use and mobile data.
- Watch for rapid percentage drops, random restarts and unexpected shutdowns.
- Do not treat an old phone’s original IP68 rating as proof of water safety after repair.
5. Check software and ownership lock
- Confirm the phone does not reboot, lose signal or become unusually hot.
- Ask whether it has been cross-flashed or repaired, and whether carrier software remains installed.
- Have the seller remove Google and other accounts and disable screen locks before resetting the phone.
- Complete the reset only after verifying the device works and the seller has no account lock attached to it.

- Snapdragon 835 and Android 9-era software are old.
- Battery, OLED panel and charging port may be heavily aged.
- Original replacement parts can be difficult to find.
- Repair history may affect screen quality, reliability and water resistance.
- PTA approval, LTE bands, SIM configuration and VoLTE vary by model.
- No dependable current LG manufacturer support or warranty should be assumed.
- Camera hardware does not guarantee modern mid-range image quality.
Is the LG V30 worth buying in Pakistan?
The V30 is worth considering at roughly the lower-to-middle end of the observed used range if it is PTA-approved, fully tested and has a healthy display and battery. It makes the most sense for headphone users, OLED/HDR fans and camera enthusiasts who understand the risks of an old imported flagship.
Choose a newer budget Android phone instead if you need long software support, dependable battery life, a manufacturer warranty, modern banking-app compatibility or 5G. A used LG V40, V50 or V60 may offer newer hardware, but those are also aging devices and require the same checks for battery, PTA approval, display condition and network compatibility. Used Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus or Google Pixel phones may provide better current app support, but their value depends on the exact model, condition and PTA status available locally.
