Intel released Arc Graphics driver 32.0.101.8132 as a WHQL package on September 23, 2025. Its headline addition was Intel Game On support for Silent Hill f, while several application crashes were fixed on Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors with integrated Intel Arc graphics.
It is now a historical release rather than Intel’s latest driver. As of August 18, 2026, Intel’s download page lists 32.0.101.8974 WHQL as the current package.

Intel’s original release notes are the primary source for the version, date, certification, fixes and known issues.
What was new in 32.0.101.8132?
The main gaming change was Intel Game On support for Silent Hill f on supported Arc hardware. “Game On” indicates launch-focused driver support or optimization for a named game. It does not, by itself, guarantee a particular frame-rate improvement across every Arc GPU, resolution, graphics preset or API. Intel’s release notes do not provide a universal performance-uplift figure for this driver.

Application crashes that Intel fixed
The following fixes were specifically listed for Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors with built-in Intel Arc graphics:
- NBA 2K26 could crash during DirectX 12 gameplay.
- Adobe Premiere Pro could crash while using audio-enhancement features.
- PugetBench for Photoshop could crash while running its benchmark.
- PugetBench for Lightroom could crash while running its benchmark.
- Blender could hang while loading certain scenes for rendering.
These fixes should not be interpreted as a blanket claim that every Arc A-series or B-series graphics card received the same application fixes.
Known issues that remained
Arc B-series
- Visual corruption could occur in some multiple-application interaction scenarios.
- Satisfactory using Vulkan could crash at launch. Intel recommended using the default DirectX 12 API instead.
- World of Warcraft: Dragonflight could crash when switching to DirectX 11.
- PugetBench for DaVinci Resolve Studio could intermittently crash. Intel recommended setting the benchmark timeout slider to 1,500 seconds or higher and allowing each test to finish.
Arc A-series
- Satisfactory using Vulkan could crash at launch; Intel recommended DirectX 12 as the workaround.
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 using DirectX 12 could crash when ray tracing and XeSS were enabled.
- World of Warcraft: Dragonflight could crash when switching to DirectX 11.
- PugetBench for DaVinci Resolve Studio could intermittently crash; a timeout of 1,500 seconds or higher was recommended.
Core Ultra integrated Arc graphics
- World of Warcraft: Dragonflight could crash when switching to DirectX 11 on Core Ultra Series 1 and Series 2 systems.
- Core Ultra Series 2 systems retained the application-specific issues listed above until they were addressed by this release.
- Topaz Video AI could display visual artifacts with certain AI models on Core Ultra Series 2 systems.
WHQL certification means the package passed Microsoft’s certification process; it does not mean that every game, benchmark or workflow is free of bugs. Intel’s own release notes documented these unresolved problems.

Supported hardware and Windows versions
The Arc graphics family covered by Intel’s driver portal included discrete products such as the Arc A310, A380, A580, A750 and A770, mobile A-series models, and the Arc B570 and B580. The driver family also covered Intel Core Ultra processors with integrated Arc graphics. Exact support depends on the processor or GPU model and the archived package’s device list.
Contemporary information for the September 2025 package identified support for Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11 versions 21H2, 22H2, 23H2 and 24H2. Do not automatically apply the current Intel page’s Windows 11 25H2 information to driver 32.0.101.8132; current-page compatibility details describe newer packages.
Should you install 32.0.101.8132 now?
Usually, no. For a new installation in 2026, use the latest suitable Intel package or your computer manufacturer’s validated driver. Newer releases can contain subsequent game support, bug fixes and compatibility updates. Intel currently lists 32.0.101.8974 WHQL on its official Arc Windows download page.

The older 8132 package can still make sense in specific cases:

- You are reproducing a historical issue or maintaining a fixed benchmark environment.
- A newer driver introduced a regression in a workload that works correctly on 8132.
- Your system vendor specifically validated 8132.
- You need to preserve a known-good configuration for troubleshooting.
- You are comparing results against testing performed with that exact driver.
For Silent Hill f, a current driver normally remains the better choice because later packages supersede earlier launch support. The 8132 release is relevant mainly when you need that historical version or are investigating a version-specific behavior.

Intel’s generic package is not always the safest option for a laptop, handheld gaming PC or prebuilt desktop. Intel warns that its generic graphics driver can overwrite an OEM driver containing platform-specific customizations.

Check the manufacturer’s support page first if your system uses switchable graphics, vendor-specific display or power controls, brightness and hotkey integrations, sleep/wake tuning, or enterprise management. An OEM driver may lag behind Intel’s public release but can be better matched to the machine.
Intel’s Arc driver hub and Intel Graphics Software information page are safer starting points than third-party driver-updater utilities.

- Identify the exact GPU or processor in Device Manager, Intel Graphics Software or the system manufacturer’s support utility.
- Confirm that the hardware and Windows edition match the archived package requirements.
- Download the current driver from Intel or the OEM. If you specifically need 8132, use Intel’s historical-driver resources or its original release-notes page rather than an unverified mirror.
- Close games, benchmarks, video editors and graphics-monitoring tools.
- Run the installer and follow its prompts.
- Restart Windows when requested.
- Verify the installed version in Intel Graphics Software, or through Device Manager → Display adapters → Intel graphics device → Properties → Driver.
- Test the game or application that motivated the installation.
Archived installers may not expose exactly the same options as current Intel packages. Do not assume that a historical installer includes a particular clean-install or component-selection control unless the installer itself shows it.
If the installation causes problems
- Restart Windows and retest before changing additional settings.
- Use Device Manager’s driver rollback option if the previous driver is still available.
- On a laptop, handheld or prebuilt system, reinstall the OEM graphics package.
- For persistent black screens, corruption or crashes, use the official Intel or OEM support path and confirm that you have the correct recovery driver.
- Use advanced clean driver removal only for difficult conflicts, after backing up settings and locating the correct OEM package. It should not be the universal first step.
Where to find the original release information
The original release notes are available as an Intel-hosted PDF at ReleaseNotes_101.8132.pdf. Intel’s current Arc Graphics Windows download page may now redirect to or display a newer package, so an old article or cached listing should not be treated as proof that 8132 is still the latest driver.
