Before scraping a Caseking product page, identify the exact Caseking domain and check the current terms and permissions that apply to your use. The available Caseking USA terms expressly prohibit spidering, crawling, and scraping. Caseking.de’s private-consumer terms say shop content may be used only for private, non-commercial purposes. Those documents cover different sites and do not establish a single rule for every Caseking domain—or permission for a particular automated method.
If you need structured product data, ask Caseking for written authorization or a documented data interface before building a crawler. If your purpose is simply to keep a visual record of a page, a screenshot is not a substitute for permission to collect or reuse its content.
First, identify which Caseking site you mean
“Caseking” can refer to different country-specific storefronts. The terms located for Caseking USA and Caseking.de are not interchangeable, and they should not be treated as a global Caseking policy. Check the domain you plan to access, the terms currently applicable to that site, and the terms that apply to your account and intended use.
| Site covered by the located document | Relevant wording or restriction | What it establishes—and what it does not |
|---|---|---|
| Caseking USA | Its Terms of Service prohibit use of the site or its content to “spider, crawl, or scrape.” They also prohibit interfering with or circumventing security features, and say use may be terminated for prohibited-use violations. | Do not scrape this storefront under the located terms. The document does not grant permission to evade a block or use another automated method instead. |
| Caseking.de | Caseking GmbH’s GTCs for private consumers say online-shop content may be used only for private, non-commercial purposes. | This is a restriction on use of shop content, not a specific statement that a particular crawler is allowed. It does not establish permission for commercial reuse or automated access. |
The Caseking GmbH consumer terms were last modified on 2026-06-24. Caseking USA’s terms say they may be revised by posting updates, so check the live document rather than relying on a saved copy. If you target another country-specific domain, find and review that domain’s own current terms; the two documents above do not settle its rules.

Can you scrape Caseking product pages?
For Caseking USA, the located terms prohibit scraping, crawling, and spidering. For Caseking.de, the located consumer terms limit use of shop content to private, non-commercial purposes, but do not answer whether a particular automated access method is permitted. In neither case should you infer permission from the fact that a page is publicly viewable.
If you cannot establish that your planned collection is allowed, do not run a crawler. Ask the site owner for written permission or for a documented, authorized feed or API. The available materials do not establish that Caseking offers a public API, product feed, or partner data route; ask rather than assuming one exists.
Check the intended use as well as the access method
Write down what you want to collect, why you need it, whether the resulting dataset will be private or commercial, and how it will be stored or shared. A request for a private price-history notebook is not the same use as a public comparison site or a commercial catalog. The Caseking.de consumer terms specifically describe a private, non-commercial limit; do not treat that wording as authorization for broader reuse.

Check robots.txt, but do not treat it as permission
Google Search Central describes robots.txt as a way to manage crawler traffic. Its documentation says the file belongs in the site’s top-level directory and is not a way to hide pages from search results. A robots.txt directive is not permission to collect, retain, or republish product data, and it does not override a site’s terms.
The current robots.txt directives for Caseking.de and Caseking USA were not retrievable for this guide. That means no specific path, crawl delay, or sitemap directive can be stated here. If you have authorization to investigate automated access, check the current robots.txt at the exact domain before proceeding, and confirm the result with the site owner when it is unclear. Do not guess a path or interpret an inaccessible file as permission.
Get authorization before designing the data workflow
- Choose the exact domain. Record the storefront hostname and the kinds of product pages you need. Do not apply a rule found for one Caseking domain to another.
- Read the current terms. Review the applicable site terms and any terms tied to your account, region, and intended use. Save the document date or version you reviewed.
- Ask for a documented route. Explain the fields, volume, frequency, and purpose of your planned collection. Request written permission and ask whether Caseking provides an authorized interface or data feed. No such interface was established by the available official materials.
- Confirm operational limits. If permission is granted, get the approved request rate, page scope, fields, retention period, and reuse terms from the site owner. Do not invent a safe request interval or assume that a low rate makes prohibited access acceptable.
- Recheck before launch. Verify the authorization and site terms again before running a recurring job. Stop if permission is withdrawn or the site indicates that access is not allowed.
If collection is authorized, keep it narrow and auditable
The following are conservative workflow practices, not a claim that Caseking has approved a particular crawler. Follow any written instructions from the site owner in preference to a generic example.

Collect only fields you need
For a product catalog, a narrow schema might include the product page URL, product identifier, displayed price, displayed availability, and the timestamp at which those values were observed. Collect only fields expressly covered by your permission. Avoid account data, session identifiers, and review information unless the site owner has explicitly authorized that processing and you have a clear need for it.
Caseking GmbH’s privacy policy describes access data such as visited pages, session identifiers, IP address, browser, device, and operating system. It also says product ratings may be published with the reviewer’s first name and last-name initial, without publishing the reviewer’s email address. A product page can therefore contain or be associated with information about people; do not treat everything rendered on the page as ordinary product data.

Preserve source and freshness
For each permitted record, keep the source page URL, collection timestamp, product identifier, and the price or availability as displayed at that time. Keep the authorization terms alongside the dataset so that its permitted purpose and scope remain clear to anyone using it.

Caseking GmbH’s consumer terms say offers and product presentations are generally subject to change and non-binding. A captured price or stock status is an observation from a particular page at a particular time—not a guaranteed current offer. Show the timestamp when presenting collected values, and refresh only at a frequency covered by the site owner’s authorization.
Respect controls and stop conditions
- Use only the access method and request rate the site owner has approved.
- Do not evade bot checks, CAPTCHAs, authentication, rate limits, blocks, or other security controls. Caseking USA’s terms explicitly prohibit interfering with or circumventing security features.
- Do not switch identities, proxies, or sessions to get around a refusal.
- Stop on an access-denied response, a request to cease, or any indication that your authorized scope no longer applies. Resolve the issue with the site owner before resuming.
- Limit retention and access to the collected data to what your authorization and purpose require.
How to handle common roadblocks
| What you encounter | What to do |
|---|---|
| The terms prohibit scraping or crawling. | Do not run the crawler against that site under those terms. Ask for written permission or an authorized data route; do not treat a screenshot, browser, or alternate client as a workaround. |
| The terms are unclear about automated access. | Pause and ask the site owner to clarify the exact domain, fields, purpose, and method. Ambiguity is not affirmative permission. |
| robots.txt cannot be retrieved or is unclear. | Do not infer that access is allowed or make up path-specific rules. Check again later and ask the site owner; terms and permission still govern. |
| The page presents a bot check, CAPTCHA, block, or authentication requirement. | Do not bypass it. Stop and contact the site owner about an approved access method. |
| Price or availability changes after collection. | Retain the observation timestamp and label the value as time-specific. Do not present a stored value as guaranteed current. |
| A product page includes reviews or other personal data. | Exclude those fields unless the site owner has expressly authorized their collection and your use requires them. Minimize retention and avoid exposing personal information. |
Or skip the browser setup
If you are authorized to make a visual capture, ScreenshotNeo can return a page screenshot with one GET request. A screenshot records the visual page; it does not extract a structured product catalog or authorize scraping, storing, or republishing Caseking content.
Example using a Caseking product URL you are authorized to capture (replace the example URL with the exact permitted page): see the ScreenshotNeo documentation for request options.
