Yes—Expedia says its customer-service agents are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, by phone and chat. To reach the right team safely, start at Expedia’s official contact page or use the Expedia app. Expedia asks a few questions before showing a phone number, so do not rely on a number copied from a search ad, forum, or third-party page. Availability does not guarantee an immediate answer or mean every change or refund is permitted.
Fastest safe route: Open expedia.com/lp/b/getintouch, then choose phone support or chat. For a routine change, start with Manage booking. Expedia’s chat begins with a Virtual Agent and may connect you with a human when needed.
Scam check: Expedia says it will not ask for your password, a one-time passcode, a wire transfer, or a gift-card purchase. Use only contact details supplied through Expedia’s official site or app.
How to call Expedia customer service 24/7
Expedia’s US contact page says its agents are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, by phone or chat. It does not publish one universal phone number for every traveler and issue. Instead, Expedia routes customers through questions so it can provide the appropriate phone contact for the inquiry and market.

- Type https://www.expedia.com/lp/b/getintouch into your browser, or open the Expedia app. Check that you are using Expedia’s official service, not an imitation page.
- On the contact page, go to Reach us by phone and select Get started.
- Answer the questions about your booking and problem.
- Use the phone number and instructions shown by Expedia’s official flow. Keep your itinerary confirmation and any support-case details nearby.
A number in a search result, sponsored listing, social post, PDF, or forum may be outdated or fraudulent. Don’t treat it as official merely because it appears prominently or uses Expedia’s name. Expedia’s own contact flow is the safer source for the number applicable to your booking.
“Available 24 hours” describes the stated availability of the support channel; it is not a promise of zero wait time, immediate resolution, or identical service for every country, booking type, or issue. The contact page is for Expedia’s US site, so travelers elsewhere should use the official Expedia site or app for their country.
How to chat with Expedia and reach a human
From the official contact page or Expedia app, choose Chat with us or Chat now if that option is displayed. Chat starts with Expedia’s Virtual Agent, which can answer questions and help manage a trip. If it cannot resolve your issue, follow the prompts to seek a human representative.
State the problem plainly—for example, “My flight was canceled today and I need help with this itinerary”—and include the trip or itinerary details when requested. Save the chat transcript, reference number, or confirmation screen if Expedia provides one. A written record can help you keep track of what was discussed, but chat does not guarantee faster handling or a particular outcome.

Get help in the Expedia app
Sign in to the Expedia app with the account used for the booking, open the relevant trip, and look for its help, support, or contact option. From there, use the chat or phone-support route offered for that reservation. The app can be convenient because the trip is already associated with your account.
Exact menu names and available options can vary by country, app version, device, and booking type. If the app does not show a useful route, go directly to Expedia’s official contact page rather than searching for a number elsewhere.
When to use self-service, chat, phone, or the travel provider

For self-service, Expedia’s contact page includes a Manage booking route for changing or adjusting a reservation. Its Help Center organizes information into product and account categories, including flights, stays, cars, refunds and charges, accounts, and travel alerts; categories can differ by regional site. Use these routes to view trip details, check available options, and find policy information. An option appearing online does not override the applicable fare rules or supplier conditions.

What to do if the trip is happening now
Contact Expedia through its official app or contact page, and contact the operating provider in parallel when you need immediate operational help. Expedia handles the booking relationship; an airline operates the flight, a hotel manages the property, and a rental company manages its vehicles and counter. Who can make a particular change or resolve a charge depends on the booking and circumstances.
- Flight canceled or disrupted: Check the airline’s current flight-status and rebooking channels while contacting Expedia about the reservation. The airline handles live flight operations; Expedia may need to assist with a booking made through its service.
- Hotel cannot find the reservation: Ask the property to check the name, dates, and confirmation details while contacting Expedia. The hotel may be able to help with check-in logistics; Expedia may need to address a booking or payment correction.
- Rental-car or activity problem: Contact the provider for an immediate issue at the counter or venue, and Expedia for help with the reservation itself when needed.
- Package booking: Check the details for each component. Flights, lodging, and other elements may have different rules or charges.
Keep receipts for reasonable emergency expenses and records of provider communications, but do not assume Expedia or a supplier will reimburse you. A refund or cancellation outcome depends on the booking terms and relevant supplier policy.
What information to have ready
Gather what is relevant before contacting support. This is practical preparation, not a guarantee that Expedia will ask for every item.

- Itinerary or confirmation number
- Traveler name and email address used for the booking
- Travel dates and the flight, hotel, car, package, cruise, or activity involved
- A concise description of the problem and the outcome you are requesting
- Relevant cancellation, disruption, or payment dates
- Receipts, screenshots, cancellation notices, or earlier correspondence
- Any prior case or chat reference
If you cannot sign in or find the booking
Try Expedia’s official contact page; do not assume you must be signed in to begin its contact flow. Use the phone-routing questions or chat option available there. Look in the original confirmation email for itinerary details, and check that you are using the email address associated with the reservation. If the problem concerns your account or email access, never give a purported support representative your password or one-time passcode.

Stop if someone claiming to be Expedia asks you to reveal a password or one-time passcode, send a wire transfer, or buy a gift card to pay for travel. Expedia says it will not make those requests.

- Start from Expedia’s official website or app. Inspect the domain before entering itinerary or payment information.
- Do not trust a phone number solely because it appears in a search result or advertisement. Start with Expedia’s contact page and use the number it provides.
- Be wary of support pages on unrelated domains, pressure to act immediately, or requests to install remote-access software.
- Do not pay through gift cards, cryptocurrency, or wire transfer in response to an unsolicited support request. Enter card information only through Expedia’s legitimate checkout process when making a booking or payment.
If you shared a password, change it. If you disclosed payment details or suspect a fraudulent charge, contact your card issuer using the number on the card, then report the issue through Expedia’s official channel. Do not send payment details to an unverified contact.
If the issue is not resolved
Keep the conversation factual and specific. Restate the itinerary, what happened, what you have already tried, and the remedy you are seeking. Save any transcript or confirmation, and ask for a case or reference number if Expedia offers one. If the first channel cannot resolve the issue, return to the official contact page and follow the support route it provides; escalation options may vary. Contact the supplier too when an immediate operational issue remains.
For a refund, cancellation, or change, distinguish between asking Expedia to review the booking and being eligible for a particular outcome. Expedia support cannot necessarily override the fare, property, rental, or other supplier terms that apply.
