To make an R&B or soul song with AI, use one tool for a vocal sketch, another for an editable groove, then refine sections and export stems. The workflow below uses Suno, Eleven Music, Udio, Beat Shaper, Soundverse AI Beat Maker, InsMelo AI Beat Maker, Loudly and Mureka.

Step 1: Write A Focused Song Brief
Write the subject, point of view, tempo range, vocal mood, verse and chorus ideas, and the instruments you want. Add references such as “warm electric piano,” “laid-back pocket,” “gospel-style backing parts” or “neo-soul guitar.” Keep the words original so you can show exactly what you supplied to the generator.

Step 2: Generate The First Vocal Draft In Suno
Open Suno, choose the song creation workflow, paste your lyrics or a lyric prompt, and describe the R&B or soul arrangement. Generate several versions, then use editing, remixing, extensions or section replacement to keep the strongest chorus. Export stems only when your plan includes stem separation. Step 3: Make A More Controlled Alternative In Eleven Music
Open Eleven Music and enter the same brief. Choose a vocal song or instrumental direction, then use section editing or inpainting to repair a weak line or transition. Try a genre transition when the bridge needs a different soul feel, and export stems or MP3/WAV when available on your plan. The Free plan is for personal use; commercial rights vary by plan and exclude film, TV and studio games.

Step 4: Refine Lyrics And Vocal Takes In Udio
In Udio, paste the chorus and verse text, generate vocal or instrumental options, and edit the lyrics on the best take. Use voice references, extensions or transformations to test a new vocal character. Refine timing and sections in Sessions. During Udio’s transition period, audio, video and stem downloads are disabled, so use it for ideation unless the current account terms provide an export.

Open Beat Shaper in your browser. Set the genre, mood, energy and syncopation controls, generate drums, basslines, synths and loops, then adjust notes in the piano roll. Arrange the sections around your chosen vocal and export MIDI, WAV, MP3, stems or a DAW project when your plan supports them. Step 8: Add Multitrack Edits Or A Custom Voice In Mureka

Only upload a voice, recording or reference audio that you own or have permission to use. Covers and cloned voices need the relevant person’s consent.
