To fulfill WooCommerce orders through Amazon, connect your store to Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) with an MCF-compatible integration. The WooCommerce Marketplace lists Amazon Fulfillment (MCF) for WooCommerce, and Amazon includes WooCommerce among its prebuilt integration options. You need an Amazon Professional Seller account with FBA enabled, inventory in Amazon’s fulfillment network, and matching WooCommerce and Amazon SKUs.
What Amazon fulfillment means for a WooCommerce store
Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment uses Amazon’s fulfillment network to ship orders placed through other sales channels, including your own website. Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is the related service for orders placed on Amazon’s store; MCF is the option relevant to WooCommerce orders. See Amazon’s MCF overview for supported integrations and markets.
The integration is the software connection that passes eligible WooCommerce orders to MCF. Amazon says sellers can use a prebuilt integration or build a custom integration. The documented WooCommerce extension is the most direct prebuilt route; the sources here do not set out implementation steps for a custom connection.
Choose an integration
| Approach | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Amazon Fulfillment (MCF) for WooCommerce | A paid extension listed in the WooCommerce Marketplace. Its documentation covers connecting the store, matching products, inventory settings, shipping mappings, and order testing. Marketplace listing details change; verify the current price, version, and compatibility before installing. |
| Custom integration | Amazon identifies custom integration as an option. The sources cited here do not establish its implementation requirements, cost, supported behavior, or timeline. Evaluate those with a developer before choosing this route. |
For a custom build, compare the development and maintenance effort against the extension’s recurring software cost. Also assess control over order and inventory logic, region support, order-status and tracking behavior, and total software plus fulfillment costs; do not assume either approach provides a specific capability without confirming it.
#1 Best Overall
Before you install the WooCommerce extension
- Have an active Amazon Professional Seller account and enable FBA/MCF for the relevant seller account.
- Send the products you intend to fulfill to Amazon’s network and confirm that their Seller SKUs match the WooCommerce product SKUs exactly, including letter case.
- Check that the Amazon marketplace and region you use are supported for your store. The extension documentation describes one Amazon region per WooCommerce site, with automatic marketplace selection within the EU region.
- Enable WooCommerce inventory management. The extension documentation also says multiple currencies are not supported without additional plugins.
- Plan customer-facing shipping rates separately. WooCommerce shipping methods map to MCF service speeds; they do not pass through Amazon’s carrier cost as a conventional live checkout quote.
Connect Amazon MCF to WooCommerce
- Install the extension. Get Amazon Fulfillment (MCF) for WooCommerce from the WooCommerce Marketplace listing, then install and activate it in WordPress.
- Choose the Amazon region and marketplace. Open the extension’s settings, select the Amazon home region and marketplace for your seller account, authorize the connection, and use the connection test. The exact authorization screens can change, so follow the current prompts in your installation.
- Set inventory behavior. Turn on WooCommerce inventory management and configure the extension’s stock-synchronization options. After configuration, run an inventory sync as directed in the WooCommerce setup documentation.
- Map shipping methods to MCF speeds. For each WooCommerce shipping method you offer, select the corresponding Amazon standard, expedited, or priority speed, and set a fallback speed. Decide separately what customers will pay at checkout, taking MCF fulfillment fees into account.
- Enable fulfillment on eligible products. Turn on Amazon fulfillment for products that have matching Amazon inventory. In a mixed cart, leave it disabled for items that should not be sent to MCF.
- Test with care. The documentation describes placing a test order and then canceling the resulting fulfillment order in Seller Central. This is not a harmless sandbox action: placing it can create a real outbound fulfillment request. Use a controlled test and confirm you can cancel it before proceeding.
How SKU matching and shipping affect orders
Product SKUs must match
The extension uses WooCommerce product SKUs to associate store items with Amazon Seller SKUs. A mismatch can prevent the product from being submitted for fulfillment. Check spelling, punctuation, and capitalization on both sides before testing orders.
Shipping method names are not Amazon shipping quotes
Mapping a WooCommerce method to standard, expedited, or priority tells the integration which MCF speed to request. It does not make Amazon’s carrier charge a live rate at WooCommerce checkout. Set your own customer-facing shipping prices and account for MCF fees when deciding what to charge.
Region, fulfillment, and compatibility limits
The WooCommerce documentation describes a single Amazon region per site and automatic marketplace selection within the EU region. Amazon MCF generally does not provide international exports; EU cross-border shipments are treated differently. Availability and fees depend on the seller’s marketplace and can change, so check Amazon’s current eligibility and fee information for your region before relying on a route.
The documented extension is for FBA/MCF, not Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM). If you need FBM orders or a multi-region store, confirm that your intended workflow is supported rather than assuming this plugin handles it.
Extension listing details to verify
When accessed in 2026, the Marketplace listing showed version 4.2.9.10, a $99 one-year plan, and testing with WooCommerce 11.0.0. These are listing snapshot details, not guaranteed current price or compatibility. Check the live extension listing for the current plan, supported software versions, and authorization requirements before purchase or upgrade.
Quick Recap
Troubleshooting a connection or fulfillment issue
- Connection test fails: Revisit the region and marketplace selection, then repeat Amazon authorization using the current prompts in the extension.
- A product is not submitted: Verify exact SKU matching, that the product has inventory in Amazon’s network, and that Amazon fulfillment is enabled for that WooCommerce product.
- Stock does not appear current: Confirm WooCommerce inventory management and the extension’s synchronization settings, then run the documented inventory sync.
- Shipping choice behaves unexpectedly: Review the WooCommerce-to-MCF speed mapping and fallback setting; checkout prices are configured separately from Amazon’s fulfillment charge.
- Currency or seller-fulfilled workflow is involved: The documentation notes that multiple currencies require additional plugins and that the FBA/MCF extension does not support FBM.
