You can add a Jump to Recipe button with your recipe-card plugin’s quick-link settings, or create a simple in-page link with an anchor. The destination must be an existing recipe card or recipe section; the button only takes visitors to it.
Choose the method that fits your WordPress setup

Start by checking whether the post already uses a recipe-card plugin. A plugin’s own controls are usually the straightforward option because they can target its recipe card. If you do not use a supported plugin, or want a simple link with custom placement, add a manual anchor.
Set up a button with your recipe-card plugin
WP Tasty Recipes
- In your WordPress dashboard, open WP Tasty → Tasty Recipes → Settings.
- Find the Quick Links controls and choose whether to display Jump to Recipe. The guide also describes options for print and rating links.
- Choose button formatting if you want a styled button. WP Tasty identifies this formatting as a Pro feature requiring an active license.
- Save the settings, preview a post with a recipe card, and click the button to confirm that it lands at the intended card.
If you want to control placement per post, WP Tasty documents shortcodes for adding the jump link on its own or alongside print and rating links. Follow the shortcode examples in its Quick Links documentation rather than assuming the automatic placement matches every post.
Recipe Card Blocks
- In the dashboard, go to Recipe Cards → Settings → Miscellaneous → Recipe Buttons.
- Enable the buttons you want displayed automatically, including Jump to Recipe.
- For a post-specific position, add a Jump to Recipe block where readers should see the link.
- Preview the post and verify the button reaches the recipe card.
The plugin documents a different workflow for Elementor: add a Button widget and set its link to #wpzoom-premium-recipe-card. Its documentation says automatic button insertion is not available in Elementor. Check the Recipe Card Blocks instructions if the interface or behavior differs in your installation.

The WordPress.org listing for Tasty Recipes Lite lists support for the block editor, Classic Editor, and Elementor, and includes Jump to Recipe among its quick links. Plugin features can change, so confirm the current listing and the settings in your installed version before choosing a workflow.
Add a manual jump link without a recipe plugin
A manual jump link connects a link near the start of your post to an ID at the recipe section. WP Tasty’s tutorial illustrates the basic HTML pattern:

<a href="#recipe">Jump to Recipe</a>- At the beginning of the recipe section, add a unique destination ID, such as
recipe. If your editor has a built-in anchor control, you can use that; otherwise, add the markup in a Custom HTML block. - Near the top of the post, add a link whose target is
#recipe. You can use a Custom HTML block or the editor’s link controls. - Preview the page and click the link. Confirm that it lands at the recipe instructions, not at another section.
Use an ID only once on a page. If you copy the link structure to another post, make sure the destination ID and the link target match and are unique on that page. For more on this approach, see WP Tasty’s manual and plugin tutorial.

- Test the published or previewed layout on desktop and mobile.
- Click the button or link and confirm it reaches the intended recipe card or section.
- Use the keyboard to move to the link and activate it; check that the theme shows a visible focus indicator.
- If you use a plugin, check the actual post in the editor you publish with. Automatic insertion and manual block or shortcode placement are not interchangeable in every setup.
These checks help catch layout or navigation problems in your theme. Do not assume a jump link manages screen-reader announcements or focus automatically; check the behavior of your specific site if those details matter.
