HONOR said on February 9, 2026, that more than 20.26 million devices had been upgraded to MagicOS 10. The milestone appeared on HONOR’s Chinese community site, which did not publish a U.S. count or explain the figure’s geographic scope. It is not evidence that 20 million U.S. devices received the update.
What HONOR announced
In a February 9 post on HONOR Club’s Chinese site, HONOR said the number of devices upgraded to MagicOS 10 had exceeded 20.26 million. The post accompanied a user-sharing and experience promotion.
The announcement reports devices upgraded. It does not say how HONOR calculated the total, whether it counts completed installations or another internal measure, whether each device is unique, or how many devices remain active. Nor does it separate phones from tablets or provide country-by-country figures.
Does the figure apply to the United States?
HONOR has not disclosed a U.S.-specific portion of the 20.26 million figure. The Chinese-language community post does not establish that the total is U.S.-only; it should not be presented as a count of American devices. Some secondary coverage describes the milestone as global, but that description is not a country-level breakdown from HONOR.

For U.S. owners, the practical question is whether MagicOS 10 is available for the exact device and regional variant. HONOR says update timing can vary by region, model, carrier, testing and rollout batch. Its support guidance is a reminder that a broad milestone does not mean every eligible device receives an update at once—or that every market gets the same rollout.
What MagicOS 10’s rollout figure does—and does not—say
MagicOS 10 is HONOR’s software generation associated in secondary reporting with Android 16. That reporting also says the rollout began with the Magic8 series and expanded to more than 150 device models. Treat those as reported rollout context, not proof that all those models are sold or supported in the United States, or that every model receives identical features.

- It does say: HONOR reported more than 20.26 million MagicOS 10 upgrade devices as of its February 2026 announcement.
- It does not say: 20.26 million people use the software, that the devices are all currently active, or that the figure represents U.S. installations.
- It does not prove: that every HONOR model has received the update, that the rollout is complete worldwide, or that features are identical across regions and hardware.
Regional variants can differ in firmware, services and carrier certification. A Chinese-market rollout announcement is not a compatibility list for a U.S. phone or tablet.

- Open Settings.
- Look for System & updates, or the equivalent update menu on your device.
- Tap Software update and check for available updates.
Menu names can vary by model and software build. Before installing an update, back up important data and make sure the device has sufficient battery charge and storage; use a reliable Wi-Fi connection where possible.

If MagicOS 10 does not appear, confirm your exact model and regional variant, check HONOR’s support information for your market, and allow for a staged rollout. Carrier-branded models may follow a different schedule. Do not treat an unofficial firmware list as confirmation of U.S. eligibility, and avoid manually flashing software intended for another country: that can cause data loss, compatibility or update problems, or support complications.

The 20.26-million figure is a dated MagicOS 10 milestone, not a current count of active installations. By August 2026, HONOR community discussions included MagicOS 11 beta activity, but community posts do not establish a completed global release. The 2026 milestone therefore should not be read as saying MagicOS 10 is HONOR’s newest software generation or that its rollout remains unchanged.
