Google Forms’ Gemini-powered Help me create feature can draft forms in Spanish, French, Japanese and other supported languages. Google announced an expansion on April 1, 2026; its current Help Center lists 30 languages for form creation. The feature is limited to eligible plans and requires the relevant Workspace smart features to be enabled.
What the language expansion means
With Help me create, you can describe the form you want in a prompt, or refer to supporting files in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides or PDF format. Gemini uses the prompt and referenced material to draft a form, which you can use as generated or customize. Google announced an expansion to 21 more languages on April 1, 2026. Its current [supported languages list](https://support.google.com/a/answer/160245ели) shows 30 languages for form creation, including English, Spanish, French and Japanese.
The numbers describe different things: Google’s announcement says “21 more,” while the current Help Center lists the full set of 30. The list should not be read as 30 newly added languages. Google had previously announced seven additional languages in November 2025: Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, French, Italian and German.
Which languages are supported?
Google’s current Help Center list for creating a form with Gemini includes:

How to use Help me create
- Open Google Forms with an account on an eligible plan.
- Choose Help me create in Forms’ Gemini creation flow.
- Describe the form you need. You can also reference supporting material in Docs, Sheets, Slides or PDF format.

Generated content is a draft, not a guarantee of accuracy or suitability. Review the questions and wording before sharing the form, particularly when details or phrasing matter.

- OS: Chrome OS
- Screen Size: 11.6"
Help me create and Suggest questions are different
Help me create drafts a form from a prompt or reference files. Suggest questions is a separate Gemini feature that proposes questions. Google’s April 2026 announcement also expanded Suggest questions to 28 more languages, but that count and its supported-language list are separate from the 21-more announcement and current list for form creation. Check the feature-specific language information rather than assuming the two tools support identical languages.
Who can use Gemini in Google Forms?
In its April 1, 2026 announcement, Google listed the following eligible plans:

- 15" FHD IPS Display, Intel UHD Graphics
- 1x USB Type C, 1 x USB Type A, 1x Headphone/Microphone Combo Jack, HDMI
- Fast WiFi and Bluetooth, Integrated Webcam

Google said the expanded-language feature was available on Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains at the time of that announcement. For Gemini access in Workspace app side panels, smart features and personalization must be enabled. An administrator can manage the default personalization setting in the Admin console. Plan names and eligibility can change, so confirm current access with Google or your Workspace administrator.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Google’s speed claim and its limits
Google says Help me create drafts questions three times faster than doing the work manually. The company says the time-saving figure came from a randomized experiment involving real Google Forms users. Its announcement does not provide the sample size, experiment dates, task definition, participant profile or uncertainty interval, so treat 3x as Google’s reported result—not an independently verified or guaranteed saving for every user.
