Google AI Plus launched in Brazil on October 7, 2025. Google’s Brazilian plan page listed it at R$24.99 per month with 400 GB of shared storage on August 18, 2026. It is an entry-level paid AI bundle—not unlimited Gemini access—and its current storage allocation is twice the 200 GB announced at launch.
What Google AI Plus includes in Brazil
AI Plus is a personal Google subscription that bundles expanded access to Gemini with creative and research tools, features in selected Google apps, and storage shared across Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos. The current Brazilian plan details are listed on Google’s Gemini subscription page.

Model names, quotas, supported apps, and feature access can change or vary by country, language, age, and product. Google’s Google AI plans page describes access to Gemini 3.1 Pro and limited access to Gemini Omni Flash for AI Plus; check the terms shown for your account rather than assuming every model or feature is available to every Brazilian subscriber.
What changed since the Brazil launch
Google announced AI Plus in Brazil on October 7, 2025, at R$24.99 per month with 200 GB of storage. Its launch announcement also highlighted tools and integrations available at that time. The current plan page lists 400 GB, so launch-era articles and screenshots showing 200 GB no longer describe the current Brazilian allocation.

Google’s current One page also says the former Google AI Premium plan is now called Google AI Plus and includes the same benefits, including 400 GB. That rename can explain why older account notices or coverage use a different plan name.
How the AI features work in practice
Gemini for writing and everyday tasks
The higher Gemini allowance can suit people who regularly draft, summarize, brainstorm, or ask questions in the Gemini app. Google describes the limit as twice the free version’s, but does not turn that comparison into a guaranteed number of prompts. The practical cap can depend on the feature being used.
Research with Gemini Notebook
Expanded Gemini Notebook access and the advertised increase in Audio Overviews may help users organize source material and turn it into listenable summaries. The plan page’s “five times more” claim is a relative allowance; it is not a promise of unlimited notebook use.

Images, video, and Flow
Google lists more access to Nano Banana in Search and 200 credits for Flow, its creative studio. The credits do not correspond to a fixed number of finished videos: generation cost can vary with the model, duration, and selected features. Treat the allowance as a limited pool rather than a guarantee of a particular output count.
Gemini in Google apps
AI Plus includes Gemini features in supported applications such as Gmail and Vids. The exact apps and functions available to an account may depend on rollout, language, age, and account type. Confirm availability in the product and at checkout.
Storage: useful bundle or unnecessary extra?
The 400 GB allowance is shared among Drive, Gmail, and Photos; it is not 400 GB for each service. It can add value for someone already paying for Google storage, especially if the AI features are also useful. If storage is the only need, compare AI Plus with a conventional Google One storage plan before subscribing.

The quota still applies. Filling the shared allocation can affect uploads, Gmail storage, or photo backups; AI Plus does not remove Google’s storage limit.

Pro costs considerably more, so it makes sense when its higher allowances or 5 TB storage solve a real need—not simply because it is the higher tier. Ultra’s listed prices put it in a different category for intensive professional, creative, developer, or enthusiast use rather than ordinary Gemini use.

Who is likely to benefit from AI Plus?
- A good fit: You want more Gemini access than the free plan, use Google storage, and will make use of the included tools.
- A good fit: Household members can share eligible benefits and storage under Google’s family rules.
- A poor fit: You need unlimited usage, the highest model and research allowances, or developer quotas; AI Plus does not promise those.
- A poor fit: You mainly want storage and do not expect to use Gemini or the other AI features; compare storage-only options.
- A poor fit: You need a company- or school-managed Workspace subscription. Consumer AI plans require a personal Google Account; Workspace users may need an applicable Gemini add-on.
- A poor fit: Your main reason for subscribing is ad-free YouTube, which is not the same benefit as the higher Google AI tiers.
Eligibility and family sharing
Brazil is listed as a supported country. Google’s eligibility information says subscribers need a personal Google Account, must be in a supported country, and must meet applicable age and feature requirements. Some AI features and the Gemini app in these plans are limited to people aged 18 or older. See Google’s AI plan eligibility information for current conditions.
Google says benefits can be shared with up to five additional family members; that means sharing one plan, not receiving six separate subscriptions. The plan manager controls the family group, and sharing does not guarantee that every member can use every AI feature. Country, age, language, and product restrictions may still apply.
How to subscribe
- Open Google’s Brazilian AI subscription page.
- Sign in with the personal Google Account you intend to use for billing and storage.
- Select Google AI Plus and review the price, included storage, renewal terms, taxes, and benefits shown for your account.
- Confirm the payment only after checking the checkout details and any applicable offer terms.
- After subscribing, open Gemini or the supported Google app you want to use, and check your Google One account settings to confirm the plan and storage.
Menus and labels can differ across desktop, Android, iOS, and account regions. If the checkout screen differs from an older screenshot or plan description, use the terms shown for your account.

Can Itaú or Vivo customers get it without paying?
Google’s 2026 Google for Brazil announcement describes AI Plus access through partnerships with Itaú and Vivo. It does not establish that every customer qualifies or specify in that announcement all activation rules, offer duration, and qualifying products. Some Itaú or Vivo customers may be eligible for complimentary or promotional access; check the current offer terms in Google’s announcement and the partner’s official channels before subscribing separately.
How to decide
At the price Google listed in Brazil on August 18, 2026, AI Plus is most compelling as a combined storage-and-AI subscription for someone who will use both. If you need substantially higher allowances and can use 5 TB, compare Pro; if you only want more cloud storage, compare ordinary Google One plans; and if a partner promotion applies to you, check its terms before paying. The deciding question is whether the included allowance and features match your actual use—not whether the plan has “AI” in its name.
