This is a historical guide to Globoplay’s announced April 2024 additions and featured titles—not a snapshot of everything in its library. The lineup included films, series and returning seasons, four telenovelas, and the reality show Túnel do Amor. Some releases had specific dates; others were listed for April without a confirmed day. Availability today may differ.
Globoplay’s April 2024 release calendar
The dates below come from contemporary coverage of the April slate. “Date not specified” means the title was listed as an April arrival but no individual day was reported.

The dated premieres and the undated April listings were reported together in the contemporary April release roundup. Globoplay also published April programming videos, including a launches overview.

The four films named in the April lineup were A Porta ao Lado, Kick-Ass: Quebrando Tudo, Kick-Ass 2, and Fragmentado. The contemporary list did not give a separate premiere date for any of them, so the announcement supports an April listing—not a claim that each was available from April 1.

Series, seasons, and the April original
Globoplay original: Justiça 2
Justiça 2, a Globoplay original, was scheduled for April 11. It was the month’s prominent new Brazilian drama release; the other entries span returning seasons, acquired international programming, and titles already available by the time the slate was reported.
Returning seasons and other series
- A Mulher do Diabo, season 2, was dated April 5.
- A Justiceira was dated April 29.
- Law & Order: SVU, season 22; S.W.A.T. Força de Intervenção, season 5; and Hercai: Amor e Vingança, season 2, were listed for April without a specific day.
- Pokémon, a Série was also listed without an individual date.
- Sob Nova Direção was already available by early April, rather than being assigned a later premiere date in the coverage.
Telenovelas: four titles, including archive releases
April’s novela slate mixed a 2014 production with older Globo titles. The month therefore offered both a comparatively recent telenovela and programming associated with the recovery of the broadcaster’s archive.

Globoplay’s promotional video specifically highlighted Despedida de Solteiro, O Espigão, and Gina among April’s novela arrivals. The announcement is available on the official Globoplay channel.

Túnel do Amor season 3 was included in the April slate, but no specific release day was stated. It is reality programming, not a scripted series or telenovela.

How to interpret this April catalog
- For Brazilian drama: Justiça 2 was the dated Globoplay original, arriving April 11.
- For classic novelas: the dated archive-focused arrivals were O Espigão, Gina, and Despedida de Solteiro; Em Família arrived April 15.
- For international drama or procedural TV: the announced options included A Mulher do Diabo, Hercai: Amor e Vingança, Law & Order: SVU, and S.W.A.T. Força de Intervenção.
- For reality TV: the listing was Túnel do Amor season 3.
These categories describe the announced lineup; they do not establish a title’s current availability or subscription requirements.

The April lineup described Brazilian programming, and the available information does not establish that every title was accessible in every country, plan, or language configuration.
