Week 43 of 2024 ran from October 21 to October 27 under ISO week numbering. But the original “Free Apps of the Week 43, 2024” roundup—and its app list—cannot be independently verified from the available evidence. That means there is no reliable basis to name specific apps, prices, platforms, or current download links as entries from that week. This is a historical topic, not a list of deals still available today.
What “week 43” means
Using the ISO calendar, week 43 began Monday, October 21, and ended Sunday, October 27, 2024. A publisher might instead use a Sunday-start calendar or number its own weekly editions, so those dates are a useful convention—not proof of the intended publication window. The original article’s timestamp and wording would be needed to settle that distinction.
The 2024 roundup and app list are unverified
No reliable matching page was found to establish the publisher, exact headline, publication or update date, target country, or whether the roundup covered iOS, Android, or both. “Free” can describe different offers
Even when an app roundup is recovered, its headline alone does not establish what each item cost or included. A paid app temporarily priced at zero is different from a free-to-install app with ads, in-app purchases, or a subscription. A price cut is not a free offer, and a deal on one platform or national storefront does not imply the same deal elsewhere.
Historical prices need contemporaneous evidence. A current App Store or Google Play listing can show what an app costs now, but cannot by itself prove its price in October 2024. Likewise, a surviving listing does not prove that the app was in the roundup or that a temporary promotion covered its full version.

How to treat the historical record
To reconstruct this roundup reliably, a source would need to identify each app and connect it to a price during the relevant dates. The strongest evidence would be an archived official store listing or original publisher announcement, followed by an archived copy of the roundup or credible contemporary deal coverage. Search snippets and unrelated weekly lists are leads, not proof.

The dates for ISO week 43 are clear, but the specific 2024 roundup and its deals are not verified. Treat any recovered price as historical and check the official store for present-day availability.
