The FineIn Tag is a four-pack of Bluetooth trackers that works with Apple’s Find My network, but the headline €18 price is historical deal pricing—not a confirmed current offer. It is designed for iPhone and iPad users, not Android. At that price, it could be a practical way to tag several everyday items; unlike an AirTag, it has no documented IP water-resistance rating or Ultra Wideband Precision Finding.
Is the FineIn four-pack really €18?
Earlier deals put the four-pack near that price: China-Gadgets reported €17.54 on February 25, 2025, or about €4.38 per tag, while Mobilissimo reported €18.29 on February 16, 2024. Those are past deal prices, not a verified offer today. A reseller page lists a single FineIn Tag for £9.99 but marks it sold out. Check live stock, shipping, taxes, delivery terms, and returns before buying; the nominal deal price alone does not establish the total cost or retailer support.

What is the FineIn Tag?
It is a Bluetooth accessory that uses Apple Find My—not a standalone GPS tracker. The four-pack is intended for attaching to ordinary belongings such as keys, bags, and luggage. The tags have a plastic, elongated stadium-like shape, a built-in speaker, a pairing button, and a keyring hole. Reported dimensions are approximately 60 × 30 × 5–7 mm, with variation by source and measurement method. They use replaceable CR2032 coin-cell batteries. Product details in available coverage come largely from reseller and review material; a current first-party FineIn product page was not identified.

Which phones work with it?
The tested FineIn model is described as working only with Apple Find My. You need an iPhone or iPad to pair and track it. It is not documented as compatible with Google Find Hub, so Android users should not buy it expecting normal setup and tracking. An Android phone may be able to read some lost-item information by NFC, but that is not the same as pairing the tag or following it in a tracking network.

How to set up a FineIn Tag
Use one unpaired tag near the device during setup if several tags are being added at once. Apple’s labels can vary slightly by operating-system version; its current support instructions give the path as Find My → Items → Add → Add AirTag or Other Item.

- Remove the battery isolation strip and press the FineIn button once. Wait for the confirmation beep.
- On your iPhone or iPad, make sure Bluetooth and Location Services are enabled, and that you are signed in to an Apple Account with an internet connection.
- Open Find My, tap Items, then tap the add button and choose Add Other Item or the equivalent third-party accessory option.
- Select the FineIn Tag when it appears, tap Connect, give it a name, and choose an icon or emoji.
- Tap Finish to complete pairing.
Compatible Find My accessories generally require iOS or iPadOS 14.5 or later, though requirements can vary by accessory and OS generation. If the tag does not appear, check Bluetooth, Location Services, internet access, Apple Account sign-in, and the battery; keep other unpaired tags away while trying again. What can it do—and how does location updating work?
In Find My, the tag can show a last or network-reported location, play a sound when it is within Bluetooth range, and support left-behind notifications and Lost Mode. Lost Mode can display a finder-facing message and contact information; the app can also provide directions to the last reported location. These functions help locate belongings, but they do not turn the tag into a live GPS tracker.

The tag broadcasts Bluetooth. When a nearby Apple device encounters it, that device can relay its location through Apple’s Find My network, whose location reporting Apple says is encrypted. Location updates therefore depend on nearby Apple devices: a tag in an empty warehouse, underground garage, rural area, or other low-traffic place may show only an old location. Bluetooth performance also varies with walls, interference, the phone, and the tagged object; no dependable real-world range is established here. See Apple’s description of the Find My network.

The FineIn’s strongest advantage is quantity for the money when the four-pack is genuinely available near the historical deal price. Its key performance compromise is close-range finding: without supported Ultra Wideband Precision Finding, expect a map and a sound, not the same distance-and-direction guidance offered by compatible AirTag hardware. Apple lists AirTag’s IP67 rating and Precision Finding on its product page.

Battery life and replacement
Battery-life claims are estimates, not a controlled test: China-Gadgets says up to 10 months, while ReFind Commerce lists roughly 300–365 days. Treat that as an advertised range of about 10–12 months, subject to use and conditions rather than a promised lifespan. Frequent sound activation, temperature, and Bluetooth conditions can affect battery life. Water and dust
No IP water-resistance rating is documented in the cited FineIn review. Treat it as un-rated rather than waterproof, and avoid relying on it for immersion or regular exposure to rain, sweat, or spills. For luggage, bikes, outdoor equipment, pet collars, or children’s bags, water exposure may be a deciding reason to choose a tracker with a stated rating.

Fit and accessories

Who should buy it—and who should skip it?
The FineIn may suit you if
- You use an iPhone or iPad and want to tag several ordinary belongings.
- The four-pack is actually in stock near the earlier €18 deal price, and the seller’s delivery and return terms are acceptable.
- You can live with map- and sound-based finding rather than directional Precision Finding, and the items are not routinely exposed to water.
Choose another tracker if
- You use Android, need a wallet-card form factor, or want a tracker compatible with Google Find Hub.
- You need a stated water-resistance rating, rugged hardware, or close-range directional finding.
- You are tracking a high-value or safety-critical item and need dependable, continuous updates or strong long-term support.
Neither FineIn nor AirTag is a theft-recovery guarantee or a substitute for a GPS/cellular tracker. A Bluetooth tag can be removed or disabled, and its location updates depend on other devices encountering it. For pets, children, or vulnerable people, do not rely on this tag as the sole safety measure. Unwanted-tracker alerts and other anti-stalking protections may notify people when a compatible tracker is traveling with them; a low-cost tag should not be treated as invisible.
Verdict
At a verified price near €18, the FineIn four-pack is a plausible budget pick for iPhone owners who want basic Find My tracking for several everyday items. The saving comes with clear trade-offs: iOS-only use, no established Precision Finding, no documented IP rating, less accessory flexibility, and limited evidence of long-term support. If those compromises matter, AirTag is the safer choice for Apple users; if you need Android or GPS/cellular tracking, choose a tracker designed for that job.
