When does Fast & Furious 11 come out?
Universal lists Fast Forever for theatrical release on March 17, 2028. The Associated Press also reported a March 2028 schedule and called the movie the franchise’s 11th installment. Release dates can change, so Universal’s listing is the place to check for the latest scheduled date.

The confirmed news is the film’s title and theatrical date. Universal’s listing does not provide a synopsis, cast list, runtime, or post-theatrical release date, so those details should not be treated as established.
Is Fast Forever the Peacock series?
No. They are two separate projects: Fast Forever is a theatrical film with a date listed by Universal, while Peacock announced a distinct original series in development. Peacock’s May 11, 2026 announcement said the series had no premiere date set at that time.

Peacock described the series as a joint venture with Universal Pictures and named Vin Diesel and Sam Vincent of One Race Films; Neal Moritz and Pavun Shetty of Original Film; Jeff Kirschenbaum; and Chris Morgan as executive producers. Mike Daniels and Wolfe Coleman were named co-showrunners. The announcement does not say that the series is the 2028 movie or establish when the show will premiere.
In remarks from an upfront-stage appearance quoted in Peacock’s announcement, Vin Diesel said, “For the last decade, we have realized that the fans have wanted more,” and added, “They wanted us to expand the legacy characters, their stories.” Those comments accompanied the series announcement; they are not a release-date announcement for the film.

The Associated Press reported in 2026 that the Fast & Furious films had collected more than $7 billion at the box office. That is the figure AP reported in its 2026 coverage, not a guaranteed current lifetime total.
For viewers catching up, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment announced a 25th-anniversary remaster of the original 2001 film, The Fast and the Furious. Its press release lists August 25, 2026, as the disc street date and describes a digital and disc release, including 4K Ultra HD and a limited-edition 4K SteelBook, with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and retrospective bonus content. This is a home release of the original film, not a Fast Forever edition.
For the original film’s 4K disc, the same announcement lists a 1:47:00 runtime, a PG-13 rating, English Dolby Atmos audio, and subtitles and languages for the standard 4K edition. Those specifications apply to that 2001-film release only.
