Tubi’s official U.S. June 2024 announcement listed seven Western-category titles: six movies scheduled for June 1 and the Tubi Original Calamity Jane, scheduled for June 14. The list covers everything identified under Western and Originals Western in Tubi’s announcement—not every Western that may have been searchable on the service during the month.

Tubi announced the lineup on May 17, 2024. Its release page says the titles were “streaming for free,” meaning ad-supported viewing rather than ad-free access. See Tubi’s official June 2024 announcement.
The six Westerns scheduled for June 1
All the Pretty Horses
Based on Cormac McCarthy’s novel, All the Pretty Horses is a literary and romantic coming-of-age Western rather than a simple gunslinger story. Its frontier setting and young protagonist make it a good fit for viewers who want character development, travel and a more reflective take on the genre.

Last Man Standing
Last Man Standing is set during Prohibition, so it is not a conventional Old West movie. Its gangster plot, divided loyalties and repeated standoffs draw heavily on Western traditions and the lone-warrior structure associated with samurai cinema.
Best for: viewers who want a crime film with frontier-style confrontations. Expect action, gun violence and a morally hard-edged story.
Seraphim Falls
This stripped-down survival Western centers on a prolonged pursuit through difficult terrain. The emphasis is on endurance, revenge and the physical danger of the wilderness, making it one of the more intense choices in the June lineup.

Best for: viewers looking for a tense chase and survival thriller. It contains sustained peril and violence.
The Cowboys
The Cowboys offers a traditional frontier adventure built around a cattle drive and a group of young characters forced to take on dangerous responsibility. It is a strong starting point for classic Western fans, but its young characters encounter serious violence, so it should not be treated simply as light family viewing.
Best for: viewers seeking a traditional cattle-drive and frontier adventure.

The Homesman
A revisionist Western, The Homesman focuses on migration, gender, isolation and the psychological cost of frontier life. It is considerably more somber and character-driven than a conventional shootout-centered Western.
Best for: viewers who prefer difficult historical drama and revisionist Westerns. The film includes bleak themes, violence, mental illness and death.
The Long Riders
The Long Riders is a historical outlaw Western about the Jesse James gang. Its period setting and focus on an organized brotherhood of criminals make it a natural choice for viewers interested in outlaw history rather than cattle drives or frontier romance.

Best for: fans of Jesse James stories, historical outlaws and darker Western crime narratives. Expect gun violence and criminal activity.

Calamity Jane is the only title in Tubi’s announcement explicitly placed under Originals Western. Tubi describes it as a revenge story in which Calamity Jane escapes prison after Wild Bill is killed in a poker game and seeks vengeance while the Deadwood sheriff pursues her.

Which June addition should you watch first?
- For a classic Western: Start with The Cowboys.
- For a darker outlaw story: Choose The Long Riders.
- For a revisionist Western: Try The Homesman.
- For survival and revenge: Pick Seraphim Falls.
- For a Western hybrid: Choose Last Man Standing for Prohibition-era crime and Western-style standoffs.
- For a literary frontier story: Watch All the Pretty Horses.
- For the Tubi Original: Save Calamity Jane for its June 14 release.
Why some June lists contain more titles
The definitive list here follows Tubi’s own May 17 announcement. Some unofficial pages attach additional Western recommendations to the same headline, but titles such as The Missouri Breaks, McCabe & Mrs. Miller, The Wild Bunch, Badlands, Lone Star and The Shooting do not appear in Tubi’s official June 2024 Western announcement. They should not be presented as confirmed June additions without separate evidence.
There is also an apparent copy-editing error in Tubi’s release page: a general line says the listed titles begin streaming on April 1, even though the page is specifically about June 2024, was published in May, and dates Calamity Jane for June 14. The six undated catalog titles are therefore treated as June 1 additions, consistent with the announcement’s June context and contemporaneous reporting from ComicBook.com.
Availability note
This is a historical record of the U.S. Tubi schedule announced for June 2024. It is not a guarantee that these films remain available on Tubi in 2026 or that the same titles were offered in every country. Streaming rights can change, and “coming to Tubi” describes a scheduled addition—not a promise of permanent availability.
The lineup also should not be read as a single, strictly defined style of Western. It combines a classic frontier adventure, an outlaw history, revisionist drama, a wilderness chase, a literary coming-of-age film, a Prohibition-era Western hybrid and a Tubi Original revenge story.
