Udio songs cannot currently be downloaded as audio, video, or stems during its transition period, according to the available platform information. - Draft original lyrics or use the lyric tools. Save your lyric text separately in a note on your phone. If you are adapting words written by someone else, get the necessary permission before using them and check Udio’s terms for the rules that apply to uploaded or generated material.
- Generate and compare versions. Keep a short note with the prompt and the version you prefer. The available product information does not give a fixed number of generations, a guaranteed output, or a specific genre list, so check Udio’s site for current limits and supported details.
- Refine the arrangement in Sessions. Udio supports lyric editing, audio transformations, and timeline editing. Make changes in the project and note what you changed, such as a lyric adjustment or a section you want to revisit. Do not assume that a refined section or separated stem can be exported while downloads are disabled.
- Check export availability before spending money or planning a release. Look for a current download option and read the plan and terms shown by Udio. Save the revised lyric and your notes outside the browser. If your goal is a ringtone, video soundtrack, or a file for a music player, the current download restriction prevents you from counting on Udio as the final export step.

Check Rights Before Using Voices, Covers, Or Samples
Get consent before using another person’s voice or material, and check Udio’s current terms for voice references, covers, samples, uploads, and permitted uses. The supplied platform information mentions blending voice references and transforming audio, but it does not establish the permissions required for a particular recording or voice, or what rights apply to a finished Udio song.
