The confusion appears to come from secondary coverage, including a headline that calls the project a series. That wording conflicts with Prime Video’s official title page and Amazon’s release announcement. What the first-look images showed

Plot: improv performers go undercover

Howard plays Kat, an improv comedy teacher who is beginning to wonder whether her opportunity to succeed as a performer has passed. An undercover police officer, played by Sean Bean, recruits her for an operation.

Kat brings two of her students, Marlon and Hugh, into the mission. The trio must impersonate dangerous criminals while entering London’s gangland. Their improv training gives them a way to react when situations change, but it also creates the central risk: they have to keep inventing believable criminal identities while surrounded by people who may expose them.

Howard is therefore not playing a professional undercover agent. Kat is an improv teacher pulled into the assignment, while Sean Bean plays the police officer who recruits her.
