Cyber Monday 2025 fell on December 1, and the clearest documented case deals were the Lian Li Lancool 217 for $114.99 at Newegg and the Hyte Y70 Taro Milk for $179.99 at Amazon. Those are historical U.S. price snapshots reported during the sale—not offers you can assume are still available. The Lancool 217 was the more practical airflow-focused pick; the Y70 was the more distinctive showcase choice.
Several other cases appeared in deal coverage, but the available listing for them has a date mismatch, so they are leads rather than verified Cyber Monday 2025 prices. This guide separates the documented offers from those uncertain listings and explains how to check fit and total cost before buying a case at any sale.
Cyber Monday 2025 PC case deals: the documented picks
The prices below were reported in late November 2025. They are not current quotes, and stock, shipping, seller, and SKU could have changed since then.

PC Gamer reported the Lancool 217 price and fan configuration and the Y70 price and showcase-case caveat in coverage published November 29, 2025. The table preserves those as dated reports; it does not establish that either price was the lowest price before or after the sale, or that every color and SKU had the same offer.

Best practical pick: Lian Li Lancool 217
At the reported $114.99 Newegg price, the Lancool 217 is the strongest documented choice here for a buyer who values cooling and included airflow hardware over a glass showcase. PC Gamer described it as coming with two large 170 mm front fans, alongside 120 mm and 140 mm fans. That bundle can make the price more compelling than a bare case that needs several additional fans—but confirm the exact SKU and included accessories before ordering.
Its trade-off is physical size. Measure the desk or floor space, then verify the case’s official specification sheet against your GPU, CPU cooler, power supply, motherboard, and any radiator plan. Large fans do not by themselves guarantee a quiet or cool build; results depend on the components, fan curves, placement, and airflow path.

Best showcase pick: Hyte Y70
The Y70 is for builders who want the computer itself to be part of the room: its panoramic, “fish tank” presentation is the point. The Taro Milk variant was reported at $179.99 at Amazon, down from $219.99. PC Gamer also noted pastel color variants at that price; treat color availability and pricing as SKU-specific rather than assuming every finish was discounted equally.

Plan fan placement and cooling carefully, and account for the weight and cleaning that come with a large glass case. Check whether a display module, vertical GPU hardware, or riser cable is included in the exact version you are considering; do not assume an accessory shown in product photos is in the box. A Y70 can be a sensible purchase for a showcase build, but it is not the default value pick for someone prioritizing unrestricted airflow per dollar.

Other cases that appeared in 2025 deal coverage—but need a price check
A WePC page lists the Corsair 4000D Airflow, Corsair 3500X ARGB, be quiet! Light Base 600 LX, Corsair 5000D, Thermaltake Tower 300, and Thermaltake Core P3 Pro among case deal candidates, with displayed discounts in the rough range of 17% to 29%. However, the page URL refers to 2024 and the page was updated December 1, 2024, despite its 2025 headline. Its prices therefore cannot be presented as verified Cyber Monday 2025 offers. See the mismatched WePC listing as a lead, not proof of a 2025 price.
- Corsair 4000D Airflow: A familiar mainstream ATX layout and a reasonable starting point for a first build. Its included fan configuration may be less generous than some alternatives, so compare the cost of any additional fans you actually need. The often-repeated claim of roughly 29% off in that WePC listing is not verified as a 2025 deal.
- Corsair 3500X ARGB: Consider it if you want dual-chamber styling and RGB hardware. Check the precise ARGB/non-ARGB SKU, included fans, and controller; the cheaper version may be better value if lighting is not important.
- Corsair 5000D Airflow: The larger interior can help with a high-end system, multiple radiators, or more storage, but the extra volume and weight are unnecessary for many single-GPU builds. Compare its total price and fan bundle with newer alternatives.
- Thermaltake Tower 300: A distinctive vertical Micro-ATX option, not a standard horizontal case. Confirm motherboard and GPU fit and whether any desired stand or other accessory is sold separately.
- be quiet! Light Base 600 LX: An aesthetics- and lighting-oriented alternative. Confirm the exact configuration and whether its included hardware justifies any premium over a simpler case.
- Thermaltake Core P3 Pro: An open-frame specialist design, not a conventional enclosed case. Exposed components mean more dust exposure and less physical protection; buy it for the layout and presentation, not because a percentage-off label makes it an obvious bargain.
These descriptions are buying considerations, not confirmation that the named models were on sale at a particular 2025 price. Use each manufacturer’s specifications to confirm the exact revision and configuration.

How to tell whether a case discount is good
A percentage discount is only one input. Retailers may compare a sale price with a list price that is not the product’s recent normal selling price. Compare the exact SKU’s recent price where reliable history is available, and check whether a competing case costs less once its included fans and accessories are counted.

Then weigh that total against the case you actually need. A smaller discount on a well-equipped airflow case may be a better buy than a large markdown on a chassis that needs extra fans or specialized accessories. A case can improve cooling or build convenience if your current enclosure is a bottleneck, but changing the case alone does not increase frame rates.

“ATX compatible” is not enough to guarantee that a complete build will fit. Check the official specification page for the exact case version, then compare it with the dimensions and layout of your parts.
- Motherboard: Confirm support for your exact format—Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, or E-ATX. E-ATX dimensions vary, so check the allowed board width rather than relying on the label alone.
- Graphics card: Check maximum card length and thickness. Recheck clearance if you plan to install front fans or a front radiator; those can consume space.
- CPU cooler: Compare the tower cooler’s height with the case limit. For an all-in-one liquid cooler, verify radiator size, thickness, and mounting position.
- Power supply: Confirm PSU length clearance, particularly if the case has a drive cage or you need room to route cables.
- Radiators and fans: Verify supported sizes and positions—such as 120, 240, 280, 360, or 420 mm—against your intended fan/radiator combination. A listed radiator size does not guarantee clearance for every radiator thickness, GPU, or motherboard layout.
- Included cooling: Count the included fans, note their locations and sizes, and check whether they need a proprietary controller. Confirm that the exact SKU includes any hub or RGB controller you expect.
- Storage and front I/O: Check drive-bay count and type, front USB ports, and whether front USB-C is present if you need it.
- GPU presentation and accessories: Vertical mounting may require a riser cable or separate bracket. Confirm what is included rather than assuming it comes with the case.
- Build space: Look at cable-routing depth, removable panels, and the room needed to install a large GPU or radiator. Also measure the case’s outside dimensions against your desk, shelf, and doorway.
Buying from a retailer: check the seller and the return terms
The 2025 prices above were reported at Amazon and Newegg, but retailer names alone do not establish who fulfilled an order, what shipping cost, or how returns worked. For any current purchase, inspect the seller identity, condition (new versus refurbished or imported), shipping total, return window, and warranty terms. Marketplace listings may differ from the manufacturer’s standard regional SKU.
Large cases can be awkward to ship, and glass panels can be damaged in transit. Keep the packaging until you have inspected the case, document damage promptly, and check the retailer’s process before disposing of the box. Manufacturer product pages are useful for confirming specifications and SKU differences; they do not prove a retailer’s current sale price. Best Buy and Micro Center stock can vary by model and location, so verify pickup availability rather than relying on a generic category page.
Which case should you choose?
- Best documented value-and-airflow deal: Lian Li Lancool 217, at the reported $114.99 Newegg price, if its footprint and exact configuration suit your build.
- Best documented showcase deal: Hyte Y70 Taro Milk, at the reported $179.99 Amazon price, if you value the glass presentation enough to plan around its cooling and accessory trade-offs.
- Best mainstream first-build candidate: Corsair 4000D Airflow, but compare the exact fan bundle and current total price; the cited 2025 discount is not verified.
- Best reason to buy a larger case: You have a specific need for radiator, storage, or installation room—not simply the assumption that more space is always better.
- Best reason to wait or choose another model: The sale applies to a different color or SKU, shipping erases the saving, the required fans or accessories raise the total, or the case fails a clearance check.
Cyber Monday 2025 is over, so treat these numbers as a record of reported sale pricing, not a live shopping list. For another sale, the useful comparison is the exact case SKU’s real total cost against its normal recent price and the components you need to fit.
