Corsair announced a portfolio of RTX 50-series-oriented PC hardware at Computex 2025 on May 20, 2025. The lineup includes three DIY cases—the FRAME 5000D, FRAME 4500X, and AIR 5400—plus reverse-rotor fans, an LCD-equipped CPU cooler, power supplies, 12V-2×6 cables, and a PCIe 5.0 riser cable.
Corsair’s “optimized for NVIDIA RTX 50-series” positioning refers to practical concerns such as GPU clearance, airflow, anti-sag support, radiator placement, vertical mounting, and power-cable routing. It does not establish NVIDIA certification or independent thermal performance with every RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 model.
Why RTX 50-series builds need more careful case planning
High-end RTX 50-series graphics cards can be long, thick, and heavy. Compatibility therefore depends on the exact board-partner card rather than only its GPU name. A case may have enough nominal length for an RTX 5090, yet become incompatible after installing a front radiator, accounting for the power-connector bend, or adding a vertical GPU bracket.

Corsair’s Computex portfolio addresses those concerns in different ways. The FRAME 5000D emphasizes expansion and clearance, the FRAME 4500X prioritizes panoramic presentation, and the AIR 5400 uses separated chambers and directed airflow. The accompanying fans and cooler address intake aesthetics and CPU cooling rather than directly cooling the graphics card.
Corsair’s announcement also covered the CORSAIR ONE a300 Metal Dark, updated HXi SHIFT and RMx SHIFT power supplies, 600W-rated 12V-2×6 cable kits, and a PCIe 5.0 x16 riser cable.
FRAME 5000D: the flexible high-end option
The FRAME 5000D is the broadest all-rounder in the lineup for a large GPU build. It measures 556mm high by 250mm wide by 542mm long and lists up to 450mm of GPU clearance. It also provides 175mm of CPU-cooler clearance and 250mm of PSU clearance.
It supports Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, and E-ATX motherboards up to 305mm × 277mm. Compatibility includes ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero, and Gigabyte Project Stealth reverse-connector motherboard designs.
The case supports up to 14 120mm fans, 10 140mm fans, two 160mm fans, or two 200mm fans, depending on the configuration and mounting positions. Radiator support includes 240mm, 280mm, and 360mm units in several locations. There are eight horizontal or three vertical expansion slots, space for six 2.5-inch SSDs and two 3.5-inch hard drives, and a two-year warranty.
Its adjustable InfiniRail system allows more precise fan positioning. An adjustable GPU anti-sag arm is included, and vertical mounting is possible without a separate bracket, although a riser cable is still required. A mounting pocket for an iCUE LINK System Hub is also provided; the hub is sold separately.
Corsair says the redesigned perforated front panel improves airflow by 12.7% compared with the tri-hex pattern on the previous 5000D. That is Corsair’s own comparison claim, not independent test data.

FRAME 4500X: a panoramic showcase case
The FRAME 4500X takes a more display-focused approach. Its single-piece curved-glass exterior is designed to show the interior from multiple angles, while side-mounted reverse-rotor fans can provide intake airflow with their more attractive blade sides facing the viewer.
The case measures 542mm long by 556mm high by 250mm wide and lists up to 460mm of GPU clearance. CPU-cooler clearance is up to 185mm, with up to 250mm available for the power supply. It supports 360mm radiators at the top and side and supports ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero, and Gigabyte Project Stealth motherboards.
Like the FRAME 5000D, it uses Corsair’s modular FRAME system and InfiniRail fan mounting. Four variants are available in the announced range: RS-R ARGB black, RS-R ARGB white, LX-R RGB black, and LX-R RGB white.
The trade-off is that a glass showcase build requires more careful airflow planning. Confirm fan direction, radiator placement, filter access, and final GPU temperatures rather than assuming that more fans automatically produce better cooling.

AIR 5400: directed airflow in three chambers
The AIR 5400 is the most technically distinctive case in the announcement. Its triple-chamber layout separates the CPU-cooling area, the main GPU-and-motherboard chamber, and the power-supply and storage area.
The dedicated CPU chamber can exhaust radiator heat separately. Removable top and bottom ducts direct intake air toward the graphics card and motherboard, while the PSU and storage chamber has separate intake and exhaust paths.
The case measures 467mm × 340mm × 470mm and supports Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, and E-ATX motherboards, including ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero, and Gigabyte Project Stealth designs. It supports up to 360mm or 240mm radiators at the top, front, and bottom. Storage support includes one 3.5-inch hard drive and two 2.5-inch SSDs.

It is available with either three RS-R ARGB fans or three LX-R fans. However, its listed maximum GPU length is 360mm. That limitation is especially important for an RTX 5090 build: measure the exact card and allow for the power cable, side panel, and any radiator or fan installed in front of it. The AIR 5400 should not be treated as automatically suitable for every RTX 5090 model.

RS-R ARGB reverse-rotor fans
Conventional fans often expose their support-arm side when installed as front or side intakes in a glass-sided case. Reverse-rotor fans change the airflow arrangement so the cleaner-looking blade side can face the viewer while the fan still functions as an intake.
The RS-R ARGB is a 120mm × 25mm PWM and ARGB fan rated at 420–2,100 RPM, 13.33–65.82 CFM of airflow, 0.14–2.81mm-H₂O static pressure, and 10–34.6 dBA of listed noise. It uses a Magnetic Dome bearing, eight LEDs, and supports daisy chaining.
Unlike Corsair’s iCUE LINK-based LX-R products, RS-R ARGB fans use standard motherboard PWM and 5V ARGB connections. That can make them a better fit for a mixed-brand build or a buyer who wants to avoid a proprietary lighting hub. Their main advantage is presentation and airflow direction; reverse-rotor construction does not by itself prove superior cooling performance.
NAUTILUS RS LCD: an LCD-equipped CPU cooler
The NAUTILUS RS LCD is a CPU cooler rather than a GPU cooler. Its RTX 50-series relevance is indirect: it provides CPU cooling for the same high-end systems that may use one of Corsair’s large cases.

Both models use a copper cold plate, aluminum radiator, Magnetic Dome fans, and carry a five-year warranty. The pump cap contains a 2.1-inch IPS LCD that can display images, GIFs, and system information through iCUE. Screen orientation can be corrected in iCUE.
Fan and pump operation use motherboard PWM control, while iCUE manages the LCD. This gives the cooler a less tightly integrated lighting setup than a full iCUE LINK build, but the display still requires Corsair’s software.

Check available motherboard PWM and 5V ARGB headers before buying. Also distinguish the standard RS-R ARGB ecosystem from Corsair’s iCUE LINK products, since hub requirements, connectors, and software control differ.

- 12V-2×6 cable kits: include individually sleeved options rated for up to 600W, depending on the specific product.
- PCIe 5.0 x16 riser cable: a 175mm cable in black or white for vertical GPU installations.
A 600W-rated cable does not determine the correct total PSU wattage for a system. The exact GPU, CPU, transient behavior, overclocking plans, and manufacturer recommendations still matter. Similarly, a riser cable does not eliminate the need to verify airflow, slot alignment, signal stability, and physical clearance.

Choose the FRAME 5000D if maximum flexibility, broad radiator support, high clearance, and built-in GPU support matter most.
Choose the FRAME 4500X if the visual presentation of the build is central and you want curved glass, reverse-rotor intake options, and up to 460mm of stated GPU clearance.
Choose the AIR 5400 if you specifically want its chambered airflow design and your exact graphics card is comfortably below 360mm with room for cables and other hardware.

Build-planning checklist
- Measure the exact graphics card, including its length, thickness, and power-connector position.
- Check GPU clearance with the intended front or side radiator and fans installed.
- Confirm PSU length and leave enough room for a safe 12V-2×6 cable bend and fully seated connector.
- Decide whether horizontal or vertical GPU mounting is appropriate for the case, card, and airflow plan.
- Verify the riser cable length, PCIe generation, motherboard slot arrangement, and vertical bracket requirements.
- Check motherboard PWM, 5V ARGB, USB, and iCUE LINK requirements before selecting fans or an AIO.
- Install and adjust the GPU support arm before final cable routing, ensuring it does not touch the cooler or fans.
- Confirm that dust filters and glass panels remain removable after the build is complete.

Corsair also presented the CORSAIR ONE a300 Metal Dark, a compact system shown with an AMD Ryzen 9000X3D-series processor and GeForce RTX 5080, using dual 240mm radiators. The announcement was a portfolio launch rather than a single case release. Its strongest message is that RTX 50-series builds require coordinated decisions about physical clearance, GPU support, cooling layout, power delivery, and control ecosystems.
