En Visual Studio Code (VS Code) puedes ampliar toda la interfaz o únicamente el texto del editor. Para agrandar menús, barra lateral, terminal y paneles, usa View > Appearance > Zoom In o Ctrl+= (Windows/Linux), Cmd+= (macOS). Si solo necesitas letras de código más grandes, utiliza Editor Font Zoom In o configura editor.fontSize.

Estos atajos ejecutan workbench.action.zoomIn, workbench.action.zoomOut y workbench.action.zoomReset. El zoom de apariencia cambia aproximadamente un 20 % por nivel y se conserva en window.zoomLevel (documentación oficial). En portátiles sin teclado numérico, la combinación con Numpad0 puede no reconocerse.
Usar el menú de VS Code
- Abre VS Code.
- Selecciona View.
- Entra en Appearance.
- Elige Zoom In, Zoom Out o Reset Zoom.
Los nombres aparecen traducidos si has cambiado el idioma de la interfaz. Este método es útil cuando el teclado no interpreta correctamente =, + o el teclado numérico.

- Pulsa Ctrl+Shift+P en Windows/Linux o Cmd+Shift+P en macOS.
- Busca Editor Font Zoom In y ejecútalo.
- Repite con Editor Font Zoom Out para reducir.
- Usa Editor Font Zoom Reset para restablecer la fuente.
Los comandos correspondientes son editor.action.fontZoomIn, editor.action.fontZoomOut y editor.action.fontZoomReset. Son distintos de los comandos workbench.action.zoom*: el primer grupo afecta al texto del editor, no a toda la ventana.

mouse wheel zoom. - Activa Editor: Mouse Wheel Zoom.
- Coloca el cursor sobre el editor, mantén pulsada Ctrl y mueve la rueda hacia arriba o abajo.

En macOS, Cmd es el modificador de los atajos de zoom de ventana; el comportamiento de la rueda puede variar según la versión y la configuración de entrada. La configuración de usuario se aplica a tus ventanas de VS Code, mientras que la del espacio de trabajo puede limitarse a un proyecto (configuración de VS Code).

Restablecer el zoom
- Interfaz completa: usa View > Appearance > Reset Zoom, el atajo correspondiente o establece
"window.zoomLevel": 0. - Solo el editor: ejecuta Editor Font Zoom Reset o revisa
editor.fontSize.
Restablecer window.zoomLevel no cambia un tamaño fijado en editor.fontSize, porque son ajustes independientes.

- Busca el comando, revisa conflictos y asigna una combinación personalizada (guía de atajos).
Un campo de texto, el terminal o una extensión pueden capturar la combinación. Las distribuciones de teclado también pueden cambiar cómo se introduce = o +.
