Colorful’s iGame LAB Vulcan Armor is a specialized Mini-ITX chassis built primarily to showcase the company’s white iGame Vulcan graphics cards. It combines a horizontal, GPU-forward layout with a CNC-machined aluminum body, a custom 240 mm liquid cooler, direct outside airflow for the graphics card, short SFX power-supply support, and a magnetic mounting interface for the Vulcan Smart Screen.
The approximately 24-liter case is not a universal small-form-factor enclosure. Its appeal depends on owning—or specifically planning to buy—a compatible Colorful White Vulcan GPU. Colorful has introduced the product, but the available reporting does not establish an official global release date, U.S. retail availability, or pricing.
A Mini-ITX case designed around one GPU family
Colorful introduced the iGame LAB Vulcan Armor as the first high-end custom kit from its iGame joint LAB initiative. Unlike a conventional Mini-ITX case designed to accept a broad range of graphics cards, the Vulcan Armor treats the graphics card as the centerpiece of the entire system.
The enclosure is shaped and finished to complement Colorful’s white iGame Vulcan cards. Its external structure frames the GPU, while a side opening aligns with the card’s cooler intake so the graphics card can draw air directly from outside the chassis. That design gives the case a distinctive showcase appearance, but it also makes exact GPU compatibility more important than a generic length or slot specification suggests.

Colorful’s official product page describes an all-aluminum CNC body, a magnetic contact base for the Vulcan Smart Screen, and preinstalled custom 240 mm liquid cooling.
What “White Vulcan” means
“White Vulcan” refers to Colorful’s white iGame Vulcan graphics-card variants, particularly the RTX 50-series models associated with current coverage of the chassis. A community build post lists these cards as compatible:

This list comes from community build coverage, not a complete official compatibility database. Buyers should therefore verify the exact regional model and its physical dimensions before purchasing. A graphics card can fall within the reported length and slot limits yet still conflict with the custom bracket, riser position, airflow opening, or surrounding structure.

Cooling focuses on the graphics card
The most unusual cooling feature is the GPU’s direct access to outside air. Instead of placing the graphics card behind a conventional side panel, the chassis exposes its intake area through a side cutout. In principle, this can reduce the restriction imposed by a solid panel and is particularly relevant for large, high-power cards.

The case also includes a custom 240 mm liquid cooler for the processor. The reported cooling figures are not identical: VideoCardz describes support for processors rated at 260 W or more, while EnosTech describes the radiator as supporting up to 240 W TDP. Those figures may reflect different rating conventions, so they should not be treated as one independently verified thermal limit.
Community coverage identifies the included slim fans as Cooler Master Mobius 120 Slim models and warns that replacing them with standard 25 mm-thick fans may interfere with GPU airflow. That is a builder’s observation rather than a confirmed manufacturer requirement, but it is an important clearance check for anyone planning modifications.
There is no controlled acoustic or comparative thermal testing in the available coverage. The exposed intake is a credible design feature, but it does not establish that the Vulcan Armor is quieter or cooler than other Mini-ITX cases.
Horizontal or vertical presentation
The horizontal arrangement gives the GPU visual priority and makes the Smart Screen easier to appreciate. Community build coverage also describes a vertical placement mode intended to reduce desk footprint. In practice, the two orientations serve different purposes: horizontal placement emphasizes presentation, while vertical placement can make better use of limited desk width.
The white metal exterior is intended to match the finish and industrial styling of White Vulcan graphics cards. This is a showcase-focused design rather than an attempt to hide the hardware behind a neutral enclosure.

Smart Screen integration
The top of the case includes a magnetic contact area for Colorful’s Vulcan Smart Screen. The feature allows the display accessory, normally associated with the graphics card, to be positioned on the chassis itself. Colorful presents this interface as one of the product’s central design features.

The magnetic mounting system does not prove that a Smart Screen is included with every case package. Buyers should check whether the specific product is sold as a bare chassis, a chassis-and-cooling kit, a GPU bundle, or part of a complete system.
Community coverage says the screen can be customized for monitoring and animations through Colorful’s 自在星球 software. Software features and compatibility may vary by version and region, so prospective buyers should confirm current support from Colorful before treating it as a guaranteed feature.
What building in the Vulcan Armor requires
A realistic configuration starts with the intended ecosystem:
- A compatible Colorful White Vulcan RTX 50-series graphics card.
- A Mini-ITX motherboard.
- An SFX power supply no longer than approximately 110 mm.
- The supplied or specified custom 240 mm liquid cooler.
- A compatible PCIe 5.0 riser if the purchased package requires one.
- DDR5 memory and a current CPU selected within the motherboard and cooling limits.
Before buying parts, verify the following:
- GPU dimensions: Check the exact card’s length, height, thickness, connector position, and bracket shape—not just the nominal three-slot and 373.2 mm limits.
- Official compatibility: Confirm that Colorful or the seller lists the precise GPU model as supported. Physical fit alone is not enough.
- PSU length and cabling: SFX support does not mean every SFX unit fits. The reported 110 mm maximum is especially restrictive, and cable-exit location and bend radius matter around high-power GPU connectors.
- Motherboard platform: Check CPU socket, BIOS support, DDR5 support, pump headers, M.2 placement, and access around the riser.
- Radiator and hose clearance: Confirm that the pump, radiator, tubing, and fan arrangement match the supplied hardware.
- Package contents: Establish whether the Smart Screen, PCIe 5.0 riser, power adapter arrangement, brackets, and liquid cooler are included in the SKU you are buying.
- Firmware and riser setup: If the graphics card does not initialize through the PCIe 5.0 riser, reseat the riser and check motherboard PCIe settings. A temporary lower-generation PCIe setting may help isolate a link-training problem, subject to the motherboard’s firmware options.
RTX 5090-class cards also require separate validation of PSU capacity, connector routing, airflow, and motherboard firmware. The fact that a flagship card may fit physically does not guarantee a trouble-free or thermally appropriate build.

The key trade-offs
Showcase aesthetics versus flexibility
The GPU-forward exterior and matching white finish are the reason to consider the Vulcan Armor. They are also the reason it is less flexible than mainstream Mini-ITX cases. Builders using a non-Colorful card, unusually thick GPU, or a future card from another brand should look elsewhere.
Direct airflow versus exposure
The open GPU intake path may reduce obstruction, but it also places the intake closer to desk-level dust and debris. The opening should not be blocked by a wall, desk accessory, or other object, and regular cleaning may be more important than with a fully enclosed side panel.
Integrated cooling versus serviceability
A custom 240 mm cooler can simplify the intended build, but proprietary hose routing, radiator dimensions, fan thickness, pump placement, and replacement-part availability may complicate future repairs or upgrades.
Compact volume versus cable management
At roughly 24 liters, the chassis is compact for a high-performance system, but a large GPU and a short SFX PSU still leave little room for excess cable. Flexible cables and careful routing are likely to matter more than they would in a larger Mini-ITX tower.
Liquid cooling versus noise certainty
The inclusion of a liquid cooler and slim fans says nothing conclusive about acoustics. No reliable controlled noise measurements are available in the cited coverage, so the case should not be described as quiet without independent testing.

Price and availability
Colorful’s product page establishes the product’s identity and features, but the available reporting does not establish an official price or global release date. The product was reported as unveiled in the March 9–10, 2026 window; that announcement should not be confused with broad retail availability.
A Chinese product listing also does not establish U.S. distribution, local warranty coverage, electrical certification, or stock. Showcase systems and community builds likewise do not prove that the chassis can be purchased separately. Until Colorful or a legitimate regional retailer publishes a clear SKU, buyers should treat availability as unconfirmed and verify exactly what is included.
Who is the Vulcan Armor for?
The case makes sense for a builder who already owns a compatible White Vulcan card, wants a carefully matched white showcase system, values the Smart Screen ecosystem, and is comfortable working within a short-SFX and custom-cooling platform.

The iGame LAB Vulcan Armor’s actual proposition is not maximum compatibility per dollar. It is a premium, tightly integrated platform for displaying a particular Colorful hardware ecosystem. That makes it unusually distinctive—but also unusually dependent on the exact GPU, accessories, package contents, and regional availability.
