No. Roblox’s support documentation says a phone number can be used on only one Roblox account, so you can’t normally verify two accounts with the same number at the same time. If you want to use the number on a different account, remove or change it on the account currently using it first.
What Roblox’s one-number rule means
The restriction is about linking a phone number to an account. It does not, by itself, mean you cannot have multiple Roblox accounts or sign in to different accounts on the same device. Nor does receiving a text or WhatsApp message on a phone make the number eligible for a second account: the number’s existing account association is the issue.
Roblox may reject the number or report that it is already in use. The exact message can change. If the number is already attached to an account, requesting more codes is unlikely to solve the underlying association problem. Roblox’s phone-number instructions describe the one-account limit and how to change or remove a number.

Before detaching the number, make sure the original account has another recovery method, such as a verified email address. Removing its phone number may make that account harder to recover if you later forget the password.

- Sign in to the account that currently has the phone number.
- Open Settings. On the website, use the gear icon; in the mobile app, open More (the three-dot menu), then Settings.
- Go to Account Info → Update Phone.
- Choose Edit Phone to replace the number, or Remove Phone Number to detach it.
- Follow any password or verification prompts Roblox displays.
- Sign in to the other account and go to Settings → Account Info → Add Phone. Enter the number and follow the verification steps.
Roblox documents the removal and change options, but does not guarantee that a number will become reusable immediately in every situation. If you removed it and the other account still cannot use it, contact Roblox Support. Include the affected username or usernames and describe what you already tried. Support can investigate an access or number-association problem; Roblox does not promise to approve one number for two accounts.
If you can’t access the account using the number
Try Roblox’s password-recovery flow before moving the number. On the login page, select Forgot Password or Username?, choose the Phone tab, enter the country code and number, select Continue, and follow the verification prompt. Roblox says it may send a six-digit code and may show one or multiple accounts associated with the submitted recovery information so you can choose which password to reset. A recovery screen that lists multiple accounts does not mean the number can be newly verified on all of them. Recovery-account selection and attaching a phone number in account settings are different processes; Roblox’s phone-number guidance still says one number may be used on only one account.
If you can’t use a phone or email associated with the account—or the account has neither—Roblox says to contact Customer Support. Don’t try to bypass recovery by paying a third party or handing over a code.

Use another recovery or security method on the second account
If the number is already protecting the account where you most need phone-based recovery, leaving it there is often the safer choice. Set up a different recovery method on the other account instead. Options depend on the account and availability:
- Verified email: Add and verify an email address on the account. Roblox says a verified email is required to enable 2-Step Verification (2SV).
- Passkey or authenticator app: Check Settings → Security for the methods available to your account.
- Backup codes: In Settings → Security, generate codes in the recovery-codes section. Roblox says each code is single-use, codes are shown once, and generating a new set deactivates the previous set. Store them somewhere private and accessible if you lose your usual method.
- Another phone number: A separate number can be used if it is eligible and available to you.
Roblox’s 2-Step Verification guidance explains setup and recovery options. For accounts with 2SV, Roblox’s recovery guidance says losing the primary method may require two different verification methods; which options apply depends on the account and method. Don’t assume that moving a number will leave every recovery route unaffected.

For a child under 13, Roblox documents a parental recovery email option. Its guidance does not establish a shared-phone exception for a parent’s account and a child’s account. Use a separate eligible recovery method rather than relying on one phone number for both.

Why the phone option might be missing
Roblox says phone verification is available only in select countries, and its phone-number page describes the feature as intended for players aged 13 or older. A missing phone field therefore does not necessarily mean something is broken. Availability, account age eligibility, an interface change, or an existing number association may explain why you cannot add a number. When a verification code doesn’t arrive
Roblox says a one-time phone code may arrive by SMS or WhatsApp. If no code appears, check the country code and number for typos, and confirm the phone can receive the delivery method offered. Also make sure you are not trying to add a number that is already associated with another account. Repeatedly requesting codes will not resolve that account-linking restriction.
If you have removed the number and still cannot add it, confirm it was removed from the original account, sign out of that account, check country availability, and try again through the current Roblox website or app. The number may not be reusable immediately; if the issue persists, ask Roblox Support to investigate rather than relying on a guaranteed waiting period or workaround.
Keep both accounts secure
Give each account its own login and recovery setup. Never share passwords, verification codes, or backup codes with another person, including anyone claiming to offer a verification service. If you manage multiple accounts, keep recovery details organized so changing the phone on one account does not leave the other account without a way back in.
